He looked at Sel. He knew the song well... she used to sing it about their world...
"That one, huh?" he muttered under his breath.

Kagemorou *raises an eyebrow..* not a drinking song... but *eyes her companion judiciously* not bad..... not bad at all.. *he takes another drink and sets his chair forward again, moveing his legs back under the table* "I'm... I'm sorry," she apologize sheepishly, "I'm afraid I don't know any 'drinking' songs..." sweatdrop Again, she recalls upon the incident she had when Cora had offered her a drink. This so called "drinking" definitely wasn't her thing...

He suddenly hissed under his breath and buckled over, clutching his arm.
"D-damn..."

Audyhnnh "TSK!"
He suddenly hissed under his breath and buckled over, clutching his arm.
"D-damn..." "Audyhnnh??"
All too familiar with this, Selurnis rushed over to his aid, and started undressing his bandages.
"You're bleeding again!" she gasped, looking at the open wounds on his body.

"It's okay, this happens often," she forced a small smile. Though Audyhnnh had brushed her away, she remained persistant, helping him change the bandages. "I don't know why this happens... but he says it's his 'nature.' We haven't found a way to fix it yet..."

"There's nothing to FIX!" He tried but once again to get away from his friend, but then stopped and remained quiet until she was through redressing his wounds.

I had a good slash cross me belly and 'took forever to heal when I was walkin about but me captain had me stay in bed and bedrest and a little brandy for the wound and m'self and I was fine..

All better," she smiled and patted him gently on the shoulder. She had only changed the bandages on his torso and his arms, without removing the cloak.

"Thank you kindly, sir... but he's a Child of Dolorous..." she replied sadly. "There hasn't been much that can help him... This isn't a typical wound. It's passed down from his ancestors, and it's haunted them for generations thereafter. He did manage, at one point, to stop the wounds for a while... but then they came back again."

He looked at the old bandages that were caked in dried blood and corroded skin tissue. It was absolutely foul and disgusting. He didn't mind it himself... but he was afraid of what his friend might think.
