Terran nodded. "Very well then. I've given her a week's time...I suspcet she takes less." And he returned to his mount, pulling himself up in the saddle, the mare fluffing her wings once and rearing up slightly. "Namaarie Ravewing. Gurth gothrim Tel'Quessir." A slight kick to his steed as she turned about, taking off at a trot to the predetermined spot they had picked from which to start thier plan. Indeed...things would go well. Kaden would have his answers, Terran his money, and then the little traitor would be no more as well.

The flames scouraged the tip of Lavi's tail, which seemed unimportant to the beast who just continued with his tactic.

"Well, we go its attention." Tarathiel offered, as he looked at Warhammer who was in the mysts of casting a spell. Within a few words the minotaur pointed his fingers towards the elder dragon, and released the spell.

The magic was designed to reduce the age of a dragon, lowering its powers dramatically. If a dragon had a perticularly low constitution, it would revert completely into an egg.

"Didn't the Orcle say something about having an ancient guardian..." Tarathiel asked in a moment of enlightnement... Something was odd with the way the dragon was circiling the city looking at it for something... Or someone.

"So. let me ask you this then. whom have you heard of, in your order or outside of it, that would be either so afriad of death, or so obessed with power, as to perform a ritual to attain Lichdom. Ton perhaps? some other of his line driectly before you? some rogue you taught?"

A small smile at the mage.

"And I want to know everything your academy knows about Necromancy. compare notes, so to speak. Since Bloody Kitchor, the undead are far more rampant on my plane than here. we may have developed more potent means of facing them."

And a look over to Keiran, the 'what is she up to?' look seeing aslave scurry upstairs.

Aella shrugged. "There was a man, when I saw the Oracle. White hair, dressed in green. I think he had horns...I was just a little child, and the Oracle I saw was near to death. But I think I'd remeber a dragon."

Impudent!. The spell was diminished somehwat by the bronze dragon's own barriar, then another little bit by Tanundra's own. Though Tanudnra being Tanudnra, he usually didn't spend all that much effort on erecting barriers, they made casting spells difficult. Ah well.

Tanundra was struck in the chest, but lucky him he soon realized, the spell of reducing had onlt slight disadvntages. Tanundra was reduced to his raw state, which wasn;t an egg because the dragon had never been born from an egg. He was elemental, made from fire and earth. The disadvantage was that fire and rock can't fly. So he fell, nothing but a rolling ball of molten rock. He hit the ground, which didn't hurt, and quickly pulled his form together...becomeing a molten mass that resembled a dragon.

Great, it woudl take a day or more to grow a new body. Now see what you've done? His eyes flashed red, he curled his neck, getting muhc to angry to ask questions.

Kieran looked back at Malik, nodded his head slightly and cleared his throat, mouthing one word to Malik; Gale. Not that he doubted Piper would tell Malik, but he was giving the dark elf a heads up that she may at the very least be reluctant to do so. Not to mention concoct some sort of excuse to get away. Last he heard, Malik didn't want her going out on her own...frankly Kieran didn't want to intervene in the decision...after all, they would be dealing with each other for the rest of their lives soon enough, best learn to compromise now.

"What did you do Warhammer?" Tarathiel asked, noting the amorpheus creature before them.

"I only cast the deaging spell, he is no dragon." The minotaur waved his hands, ending the charm and restoring the age reduced. "He is a servent of the Earth Mother and I can do him no harm." The minotaur walked towards the creature chanting a prayer, one from the verly lips of the being he served. The song was soothing to the Earth aspect of the elemental.

Lavi looked at the beast and crouched low, he was scared of the monster, but he would show no fear. He was Tarathiel's most loyal of servents, his eternal guardian, and he took his duties to the extreme.

Kaden watched him go and then laughed softly, "You have no idea how true that will be, Gale. No idea." Then he too picked up his supplies and moved to the place where he would lay in wait for the elf. The trap was set, everything was ready to go. Now all he had to do was wait. Dammit...he hated waiting.

Tanundra calmed, and while the spell was lifted and his healing helped along, it would be several hourse before he reganed his green, scaley form. He settled to a crouch, watching the minotaur before him. His body hardened, looking more like hot rock than molten rock. The good part was that no one could enter the collesium at this point, it's entrances being sealed off by Bode's little fiasco.

He turned an eye on Tarathiel a moment, tried to draw in the scent of the drow, but his senses were limited until he was whole again. Back to the minotaur then.

You, the Eath Mother speaks with you? Then perhaps she will relay a message for me. What is the meaning of this attack? Why have you come here? For the moment, he disregarded the bronze one, who had as of yet refused to talk with him.

"Wow," she couldn't take her eyes off of the dragon. "This IS fun. how often do you get to see something like that?"

"Every few days." Tarathiel replied calmly, without exagurating.

"We wished to do battle with ancient wyrms, but you are not one, so I beg your forgiveness." Warhammer replied, and bowed. "The Earht Mother shall frown upon me for aiding in the attack on one of here beautiful creatures, surely my spells shall become a burden until I atone... Do you know how I might atone for this crime against you?"

"He does this frequently too, Earth Mother clerics and having to support them..." Tarathiel smiled more than one would think at an annoyance like this. Chaos was from both spectrums, not just one.

Whirlwind let out a sigh. This was better than theatre. Better acting to. "I see why your crew is so loyal. Without you they would be very, very bored." She leaned on her staff, the end digging itno the sandy ground of the arena. "At elast he dosen't look intent to kill us now." He was quite a sight to see though, adn watching Warhammer as he seemingly talked to himself...cool

A little taken aback byt the appology, but nontheless no worse for wear.

I suppose I am ancient, but not, not technically a wyrm. The bow was returned. After all, you don't ridicul one who just appologized in the name of your creator. The Earth Mother understands that mortals make mistakes. As for attonement...yes. I know how. I am in dire need to find a good freind of mine. Meilikki is missing.

Roarke held his hands open. "Unfortuantly none of my family would be that afraid of death. It's not in our natures, not even the weak ones. We've had on occasion the opportinity to speak with Ton. He is rest well, his body quite dead and burned for that matter." He paced again. "No it wouldn't be our family. Hmmm...perhaps..." hes topped a moment, not liking the idea of where this was going.

He frowned still "Our notes on necromancy? We have a few students in the field yes, but we have strick guidlines about what can and cannot be done. We focus more on releasing bond souls than actualy raising the dead." Another pace, back and forth. "We'd have to visit the archives in the Academy. I have access to those, beind headmaster and all.

"More potent means, indeed, indeed. We don't fight the dead much." he smiled. "Besides fighting to keep the dead in the ground where they belong."

A voice snaked into his head. Those burned by dragon fire cannot be brought back. Alaran had appeared beside him, in her human for of course. Dressed in a long, flowing, dusty pink dress, with long ribbins smatter about the thing. Her hair was white and loose, her skin pale and almost dead. Like her brother, two little horns poked out from her forhead.

"Who is this Meilikki and how might I be of service?" Warhammer asked, seemingly to the non speaking giant.

Tarathiel noted the conversation, "Psionics... I usually don't care for them, as Illithids tend to be lurking where ever a psion is to be found. An illithid is not something I want lurking around me." He shuddered. He was only disterbed by the creatures because they ate brains... Through the nose.

Lavi watched how Tarathiel was calm, and how his swords were not yet draw. The dragon relaxed and raised his head. He walked over to Tarathiel and sat beside the drow. Tarathiel reflexivl scratched the dragon's arm.

Meilikki, the Oracle. He sniffed a bit, some sense of smell having come back to him at this point. Your drwo friend will know of whom I speak. He has visited her. A suspicous eye turned to the drow captian. Tanundra wasn't about to rule out the possibility that he may have taken her.

D'vinn tells me that she is below the city, and an entracne can be found in the bowls of the castle slave quarters. I obviously, and even more so now, cannot get into the castle without destroying it. He lifted a newley formed eyebrow at the bronze dragon, who was still refusing to talk in thieer native tounge. Or perhaps the little one had never learned how to speak it.

She blinked. "I judge by your conculsive shiver that these Illithids are...formidable cretures, even for a drow." She smiled. "I've only seen them in bed tiem stories." Mentla note, if it scared a drwo, stay away from it.

"I shall address the captain on this issue, I most ashuredly think that I will be able to atone through this means." Warhammer bowed to the elemental dragon, and walked towards Tarathiel. "He wishes that we find Meilikki, the Oracle who you consulted." The minotaur looked at the Drow, hoping that he would help.

Tarathiel smiled, "The pretty Oracle is in danger?" THe drow smiled, "Anything powerful enough t ocapture her would make a grand challenge for me. Orko, find me the Oracle and the quickest way to her." The drow ordered the air. He turned to look at Aella, "Uh, they always watch me."

Malik's eyes hardened at the mention of gale and he pulled over one of the slaves, rather roughly, whsipered words, and sent her out to find and make sure Serino was not takign Piper anywhere until Piper spoke with Malik. Then he turned his attention back to the mage.

"He knows how to use her. that much is obvious. if his intent had been murder, he'd not wasted all that time covering tracks. But as for harmign or destroying the undead..I have a wide array of spells myself, though the greater arsenal is in pure necromancers, of whom I employ several. we have spells to bind them in place, send them running in fear, bend them to our will, for a short time anyway..others that do damage to thier undead bodies, tearing at the bindings that keeps flesh to soul. and of course there is the Nethros. that is designed to quite painful rip a soul free of undead flesh. works rather slowly though. lots of pain involved. kind of like...rotting an undead from the inside."

A small smile.

"If the Academy is where your studies are..we'll have to visit there sometime, won't we."

A look at teh dragon.

"If that;s true then I guess your brother gave me one hell of a weapon through Malvolence feasting on his blood. imbuded him with dragon's fire. can even dispell it form the blade..short distance, only a few feet..but useful."
