Alright, I'll try He sat down and rested his head on his talons and closed his eyes, but still couldn't sleep
"Dessy catch!" He plucked one of his scales and threw it towards her We can't leave as a mermaid, but seeing him as a girl will still be fun, I wonder if he knows what hapens when the scale gets completely dry?
"You witch, I'll get you back for this!" He growled as he fell in the water and made a splash "This must be a joke, there's no such thing as a dragons turning into mermaids?"

He twitched around a bit as he tried to sleep, but nothing seemed to work, was something waiting for him in his dreams making him afraid to slumber?
"Uh Dessy that will stop him from staying as a mermaid, but you know?" He pointed at a fin on Hellfire's tail
"A girl, what the hell is that suppose to mean!?"

Breathing slowly, her eyes remained open. She knew he was feeling a bit parinoid, but she was trying to keep him in tune with his internal clock... or something like that.
Mermaids are female, duh... and now that you have a water dragon scale over the mermaid scale, you won't become a girl.

He still tried to sleep, but his mind was creating images and pictures of things that looked like the future to him
"Girl, how are two scales suppose to help me!?" He growled and looked at his tail "What the, a fin!?"
"Sigh" He swam over to Dessy "We might need a demonstration, think we should remove the water dragon scale for a sec?"
"No way!" He grabbed his tail and crouched in the water while his legs kept him afloat "You're not doing anything else to me or putting anymore scales on my head!"

She wrapped her wings around her body and his, trying to reassure him.
Long story short, if a mermaid scale is placed on another being, that other being is turned into a mermaid, and if that being is male, it's turned female because there are no male mermaids.

He started to calm down as he left the images and fell asleep slowly
