So this is late, I know, but I want to thank the wonderful anons that took the time to send their awesome poems!

First one I got was from Snow Kitsune! <3
I don't know if it's this anon, but I've gotten similar stories before and they are so awesome!!!!
A cold winter breeze passes you by as you walk down the street, snow swirling around your body as if created in a gust caused by Jack Frost himself. You pull your coat closer to your body as you brush your bangs, now dusted with the white powder of ice crystals, out of your face and lightly let out a breath that becomes a cloud in front of your lips to show the chill of the night. Suddenly a fog starts to creep down the street, finding its way towards you in an eerily slow motion, though you feel no fear and instead find wonder as your eyes fixate on, not the fog, but the creature that it seems to be following. At first glance it looks like a young woman with hair that matches the color of freshly fallen snow in the purest of places, her dress a shade lighter as it glided around her like a wave of flowing water in the freezing temperature. Her eyes, a crisp and clear crystal blue, also remind you of ice on a lake that holds no impurities as they watch you with each step she takes. As she draws closer to you, not saying a word, you then take notice of a few added appendages to the young woman, two fluffy white ears and a matching tail with tips of the same blue as her eyes move as she walks to stand before you.
You say nothing, not sure what you could say as the air around you seems to get colder, if that was even possible. Snowflakes begin to fall around the woman, though seeming to be created BY the woman as she moved and brought her hand up towards your face. You can feel the chill of winter emit from her skin as she just lets it hover over your skin so as not to cause you to feel even colder. Worry and sadness fill her eyes as she then takes her hand away from your face, unable to feel your warmth and fearing that if she touched you, your skin would turn blue with cold. So she gives you a forced smile before a swirl of snow suddenly encircled her, a bitter north wind gushing around the two of you and kicking up the snow to make you blind for just a moment. Soon though, the wind dies down and the snow settles, your body covered and feeling cold but not too unbearable. When you are able to finally open your eyes, you take in the sight of a blue wrapped box with a pure white ribbon encircling the package with a note on top.
You pick up the letter, taking note that it has your name on it, and you slowly read the light blue writing.
"My dear sweet one, I fear that though I wish to feel your warmth, that will never happen. For the moment I touch you your skin would freeze and you would learn to hate a creature such as myself. So I shall watch you from afar, as I have done for so many years before hand.. before I gained the courage to give you a gift on this day for lovers, friends, and family. Until the next first snowfall, when the north winds once again grace your face in my soft caress that my own hand cannot do. Merry Christmas"

It's a day like any other winter day in Gaia. A bleak sun is shining, everywhere people are playing in the snow or caroling... The Creeper Castle doesn't even seem as creepy as usual now that it's been filled with so much holiday cheer; and it certainly doesn't look like those people predicting the end of the world will turn out to be right. Feeling all cheery and full of Christmas spirit, you decide to walk to Barton, the nearest town, to get some presents for your friends.
After a good while and several gifts later, you take a look at the sky and see dark clouds gathering everywhere. The street lights flicker on as the evening slowly falls over all of Gaia, the sky promising a very cold night.
Shivering a little from the sudden cold, you huddle up in your coat, figuring you should return to the Castle before a snowstorm breaks loose.
As you walk with a steady pace through the thick blanket of snow, all of a sudden a sound far off in the distance gets your attention. It sounds like an explosion... And another one, and another one...
Then, everything is silent again.... Too silent. No more voices of people having fun in the snow, no birds chattering... Nothing.
The silence lasts for a few seconds, which seem to be an eternity... Then all hell breaks loose. You hear the emergency alarms going off in the distance, not only from Barton where you just came from but also from the direction of the Creeper Castle... You wonder what's going on, but are not about to stay around to find out; quickly you run to the nearest hide-out, an underground system of caves.
Inside, you take a moment to catch your breath; it doesn't take long before you realize several of your friends are also hiding there. None of you has even the slightest idea what's going on, but you have a feeling that whatever it is, it won't end well....
The explosions you heard before are getting louder and louder as the ground starts trembling, as if they are getting closer... Then, for a moment, everything goes quiet again.
You hold your breath, hoping that it might be over....
One giant, ear-deafening explosion later, and you're left trembling on your feet, your heart pounding in your chest but thankful to be alive. Looking at your friends, they seem to be in much the same condition, but it seems like you all survived at least.
Carefully, you all make your way to the exit, hoping it wasn't blocked.... The sight in front of your eyes as you leave the caves causes you to hold your breath in shock for a moment.
What was a beautiful winter-wonderland just mere minutes ago, is now covered in a thick layer of dark fog... Or is it smoke? As it clears up a little, you look in the distance at the direction Barton is in... But instead of seeing the familiar skyline with its cute little clock tower, you only see more smoke. Quickly, you and your friends start running back towards the Castle, passing by piles of rubble in the dirty snow on the way; you can't even see anymore what they used to be.
As you arrive at your beloved hide-out, once again your breath falters at the sight... It appears to be still standing, but all the windows have been blown to pieces and the whole building looks unstable; the ground surrounding it covered in ashes. It's an unusual sight, seeing your home which is usually so full of life, abandoned and worn-down like a ghost building.
As something wet drips in your neck, you look up and see it starting to snow again; instinctively you pull your coat tighter around you as you look at your friends, unsure what to do now.
Will you:
- Team up with your friends to find a safe place for the night?
- Split up to cover a bigger area in hopes you find something to help you survive?
No name on this one! gonk
But I'd find a safe place for the night!

agent_lexy_doll_009 Sorry to intrude in anyone's lovely parties, but Im kinda new here aaand Im not sure how or where to start ^^; Just hang out with us and have fun until the next event. You can also participate in a little roleplaying, but we're kinda in a weird place with that, what with a post-apocalyptic anon turning about half of us into vampires. sweatdrop
