PS3 must-have titles for 2007:
Tekken 6 Soul Calibur 4 Final Fantasy XIII White Knight Story
Yeah, chew it. Because next year PS3 will be the system to own. Just not this year.

sweatdrop Maybe if they, I dunno... LOWER ITS PRICE POINT BY A COUPLE HUNDRED GODDAMN DOLLARS. xd You can buy a ******** car for $700, one that actually works and is in okay condition. You can pay RENT for a month for $700. There's a lot of things I'd rather do than drop that much cash for a game system. xd

I can wait for 3 to 5 years before getting a playstation 3. That way I will already know what games are good to get for it and what ones are not.
Also, I will have a better chance of getting on, unless something horrible were to happen and the Ps3 busted sony (it is unmeasureable how unlikely this will be.) in that case though, good thing I did not buy it.

People said the PS2's horrible launch would break Sony, but they bounced back. Then again, after launching a failing proprietary format (UMD) on a handheld that's out-and-out losing, I'm questioning how Sony's gonna handle how badly the PS3 launch went.
Anyways, as the title says, who cares, etc. etc. so I'll segue slightly.
Blu-Ray or HD-DVD? xd

Yeah, I was not saying that the ps3 would kill sony, but if it by some chance were to, then I will be glad that I did not buy it.

*JOLT COUNTERSMACK* Sony's never introduced a winning proprietary format. Remember BetaMax? (Wait, I might be one of the only people in this guild able to remember Beta.) Remember the MiniDisc? The UMD? xd

This is a MiniDisc player. You might still see people with these every now and then--they were the forerunners to MP3 players. A good idea that wasn't recognized enough. UMDs are what the PSP plays with its measly six to eight hours of battery life.

xpjs technique: gorilla arm duck!
What's wrong with the UMD? Like, everyone releases their movies on it nowadays.

A lot of movies are released on UMD, but from what I recall (I haven't followed this in a few months), UMD sales are pretty low. You pay a couple dollars less than a DVD, but it's a better value to just get a DVD that you can play in your living room or on your computer.
