Because everyone likes both MC's, and the sellers know it/are taking advantage of it. They're neutral colors (versatile for designs), simple - yet elegant, have animals involved (always a plus for MC-lovers), and are quite pretty besides. I think we're seeing the next Chayku Norisu items here (aka they will inflate like WHOA), and would be a good Gold Investment.
Between these and wanting the Carols of Nick/Ebenezer, I think I'll be caving and getting some Gaia cash by months end (or selling off some of my old MCs). Dammit. gonk

I like the MCs too. God, I remember when they first came out, they were like 2k. ;__;

Looks like things are gonna get even "worse" now with the cash items. Gaia had to lay off 13% of its employees recently.
This makes me feel.. really bad actually.. I haven't bought anything on this site in months. gonk Those poor guys. I kinda wanna get $10 of cash when I get paid on Friday now, not just for myself, but for them too.. even though I really can't afford it.

Finally finished with finals.... I had to make a brochure and a flash portfolio... 4 weeks of grueling torture, and ongoing stress.... but now, It's finally time to unwind *streches out* ^_^

Speaking of which, for those who don't already know, caroling has started in the stores. The items are pretty. whee {edit} A-and, they're not random like the Halloween items were. THANK GOD. I can actually get all 8 now and not get pissed off at it.
