Oh, it's the perfect alignment for absolute destruction. I will bring true balance to the world, returning it to the nature the humans had corrupted. No good, no evil...only nature.

of no particular kind, characteristics, etc.; indefinite: a neutral personality that made no impression whatever; a sex-neutral job title.

(of a color or shade)

matching well with many or most other colors or shades, as white or beige.

The way I see it destroying the world can be nothing but evil, doesn't matter the intent if your killing innocent people.
PostPosted: Fri Jan 28, 2011 9:05 pm

No one is innocent. biggrin

And your definition is for true neutral.

Chaotic Neutral is called the "Anarchist" or "Free Spirit" alignment. A character of this alignment is an individualist who follows his or her own heart, and generally shirks rules and traditions. Although they promote the ideals of freedom, it is their own freedom that comes first. Good and Evil come second to their need to be free, and the only reliable thing about them is how totally unreliable they are. Chaotic Neutral characters are free-spirited and do not enjoy the unnecessary suffering of others, but if they join a team, it is because that team's goals coincide with their own. They invariably resent taking orders and can be very selfish in their pursuit of personal goals. A Chaotic Neutral character does not have to be an aimless wanderer; they may have a specific goal in mind, but their methods of achieving that goal are often disorganized, unorthodox, or entirely unpredictable.

So regardless of how evil something is, if Ayane's goal was to return Earth back to how it was before human intervention, then it would still constitute itself as chaotic neutrality.

Goku and Gohan were innocent since they could ride on the flying nimbus.
A pure heart (good) is somewhat equivalent to innocence

The goal is chaotic neutral, actions to achieve said goal is evil.

They still murdered, regardless of how pure they are said to be. Sure, it wasn't in cold blood and it was in self-defense, but killing is killing biggrin

And for chaotic neutral characters, the ends justify the means.

This is the definition for Chaotic Neutral.

A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. A chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, he would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from himself suffer). A chaotic neutral character may be unpredictable, but his behavior is not totally random. He is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it.

Chaotic neutral is the best alignment you can be because it represents true freedom from both society's restrictions and a do-gooder's zeal.

Chaotic neutral can be a dangerous alignment because it seeks to eliminate all authority, harmony, and order in society.

And here are the ten laws for Chaotic Neutral:
A list of Ten Commandments for a chaotic neutral religion may look like this:

1. You shall lie to promote your freedom.

2. You shall not kill the innocent.

3. You shall not murder.

4. You shall help the needy if such action promotes your freedom.

5. You shall honor no authority above yourself.

6. You shall break the law whenever convenient.

7. You shall not betray others unless your life is in jeopardy.

8. You shall not aid enemies of freedom or those who promote law.

9. You shall pursue pleasure.

10. You shall promote unlimited freedom for yourself.

They didn't murder anyone... Technically it's manslaughter, they never begun a fight with the intent on killing the enemy. But in DBZ terms you can still be innocent if you kill enemies to save the world or defend yourself. And this is a DBZ guild, not real life so killing people and being innocent is possible.

End does justify the means, doesn't make the means less evil though.

It's just necessary. And Haruhi, we've already been over that biggrin

I'm considering just instantaneous movement-ing myself to the Crane School.

Sera: My point in posting that up is that you cannot in fact destroy the world even if you are Chaotic Neutral. So there. razz
PostPosted: Fri Jan 28, 2011 9:34 pm

Oh? I will come up with a scenario just to prove my point.

Ayane is shackled up deep inside of the planet, the only way she can be free is to fire an immensely powerful blast straight through into the core of the planet in hopes that she will survive the explosion. To unleash herself from the oppression of her prison, the Earth, she must destroy it so she can further her goal to being the strongest fighter in the universe.

The probability of that scenario actually occurring is like...
*Changes mind about picking random absurd numbers*
... Very Unlikely
