Hmf... Guess Tac was too busy trying to kill you to explain it all. Yes, you would see all kinds of people here. It's a place where random people, from all times throughout history. If I recall correctly, Sato and I are from hundreds of years into your future. Perhaps... thousands...?
:::She sipped her wine::: I hope that's not too confusing.

Tarma blinked, looking from one woman to the other. Suspicion colored her mind as she frowned into her wine glass. Had they slipped her something? No, no, they were just speaking in nonsense. Perhaps they too were mad. Perhaps this place was where minds went when madness began to turn them. The thought made even the stoic warrior tremble lightly, and she took another gulp of wine. Or perhaps worse still, they were only mocking her. The thought roused her temper, which roused color to stain her cheeks as she scowled.
"I might be a soldier, and not educated like you Ladies, but I'm not a fool. I'm not about to believe such a ridiculous notion."

Just a soldier hm...? Not educated? Well, perhaps the time when you're from. I'll have you know, that Sato and I are both soldiers from our time as well.
:::She put her finger to her chin thinking::: There must be something to prove it to you. Sato, do you have any weapons on you? Perhaps an object from the future might be more convincing...

::Sato shrugged and with a single swift movement, pulled her blaster from it's holster, fired back behind them without looking, and slid it back into it's holster::

:::Cora realized it as Sato reached for the holster. There was no way she only meant to show it to Tarma:::
Sato don't!!
:::And the shot she'd fired froze in mid air on its way to explode a chair on the other side of the bar. Cora's mind worked almost instinctively to stop the destruction:::

The effect on the soldier was instantaneous.
As the weapon was being pulled from it's holster, the Irishwoman moved back in reflexive defense; the moment it registered in her mind as a weapon, even an unidentifiable one, she had drawn her dagger. But when the noise-maker shot out a flash of light, she fell to her knees with her arms over her head.
Cannon fire! From such a tiny thing as that! Fear bloomed into a panicky sort of terror, and her eyes went wide as she looked up at Sato. But as she did, she realized that the blast had done no damage. Instead, it...hovered...in mid-air, a strange length of destructive light. Hesitantly, Tarma stepped over to inspect it, making the sign of the cross as she did so.
"Holy Mary mother of God..."

::Sato looked back to see the shot hanging in mid air and instinctively looked back over at Cora. She pursed her lips, recalling watching Luke move things with his mind::
Well, that certainly is an impressive trick.
::In her mind, Sato made a note that Cora was a bit more dangerous than she had originally thought::

:::Cora let the blast drop, and it fell in a heap of shrapnel material on the ground. She huffed:::
Yeah thanks. My friend, the Captain taught it to me. :::then she made a sour face::: Honestly Sato, I meant to just show her the gun, you know? Because it's from the future. :::She shook her head:::
I'm sorry, Miss... uhm, Tarma. :::Cora finally remembered her name::: You probably think you've gone out of your mind. I felt the same way at first.

((G'night hun! ^^))
If she'd been startled before, watching the woman called Sato fade out of existance before her eyes was too much. Choking, she backed away on shaky legs.
"God...I'm going mad...."

Hm..? ::Cora realized that Tarma wasn't just reacting to the gun, the time slowing down, but now because Sato had just faded out:::
Oh, yes... oh my goodness that could be scary if you're not used to it. That happens all the time. She just returned to her own time. You must realize that when you leave here, you go back to your time just as though no time has gone by. :::She held out her hand in the direction of where Sato last stood::: that's what happens...
...how many times have you been in here so far? :::She wondered just how often this poor woman was left to believe she was nuts:::

"It's...before, twice...I thought..."
Her eyes closed, and she began to fade, leaving behind only her words.
"...I thought I was going mad..."

Ah well... she'll learn, if she has to come back. We all figure it out I guess...

:::A short while later, Cora emerges from her room again. Normally she was fine with the solitude in her room. The place provided pretty much everything she needed to occupy herself. But ever since returning from her trip with Kal to Terra, she'd been desperate for company. Any company, really. She just didn't feel like being alone, or perhaps she was no longer able to distract herself:::
:::She signed upon entering the bar room, it was empty:::
