"Speaking of the devil..and his sisters, they are apparently here. you asked them to come here or is Zykariel dragging them here to be able to drag my son someplace?"

"And now I'm returning the favor, you see how it works?" smilign entirely too sweetly, seeing as she had her point now didn't she? "And you should never let sex become a chore or something that starts good but just feels like rush or work. Simply not fun." Also went for too much of a good thing policy as well as she had learned. "Oh well...I guess a day or three would do you good, to start out at least. Leaving him for a little while is like going to bed, he has to know that you're gone and aren't coming back in ten minutes, and that that's okay. If you want I'll take your others too."
And he was being leaned on which meant a look to his friend, was it that time already and what was he doing here anyway? Then again his parents were here so it kinda made sense. Roll of his eyes at the girls comment though, "Always the bar scene..." Though a quick reaction, grabbing his sword back and sheathing it after his friend had taken the weapon. "Hey hey, careful. That's my new sword. Dad gave it to me this morning." Before turning a look to Galesen again. "Why wait, you're an elf?" Giving him a strange look at that...really why wait? And he was agreeing with him on the casual thing...maybe it was just because Malikhai hadn't dabbled in that area of life yet that he didn't get why it was better. Seemed more complicated to him.
Oh yes, one could always tell when the girls were around, be it by high pitched giggling, yelling, or the pouncing of one's person that would ensue when they saw them. It was cute though. "Asked them to come here so Zykariel wouldn't go straight to that horse, and well, can't have the girls home alone just yet...they're still settling." Then again leaving Zykariel alone wasn't much better, he would purposefully cause trouble. Dismissive wave though. "They like being over here anyway, there's things for them to play with and such. As far as teenage boys dragging teenage boys, nothing that I know of...then again Zykariel does tend to wing most things."

"Not fun at all. I've never not enjoyed it but here lately it's become a chore and nobody likes those." Taking on that considering look for a moment, she eyed her son, rather pleased that he wasn't crying but not fooled yet either. He'd probably start to bawl once she was gone and wail once she didn't come back in the next few minutes. "The others aren't a big deal. The girls are in bed shortly after dinner and Zykariel is usually home at a decent hour. As long as he doesn't get into any trouble, all should be well. Besides, tomorrow is a school day still and I wouldn't make you deal with them that early in the morning." Smirking, she finished up her wine. "Our bed is soundproofed through runes anyhow. It'll be fine."
"Lucky you. Wish my old man would give me a new one instead of my riggety friggin' staff." Yup, they'd coined that lovely phrase together one day. A roll of his eyes and he pushed off his buddy then glanced at Galesen for a moment. "Settling down sounds like too much work but if that's what you want, then do it. You're an adult and free. Go find the love or whatever it is. I already live with three women and that's plenty for me. Don't want another around full time, especially one that I have to please."
Arguing about something or other as they always did, the girls came in and immediately located at least one parent. Faatallon immediately pounced her father and gave him a hug and kiss on the cheek. "How come everyone's here, Daddy? Mama's in the other room. She feels really happy right now." Lyssthyren skipped in after and waved to her father then pounced Malik. "Uncle Malik! It's been almost forever since I seen you!"

A smirk as one child jumped on him, a quick motion to save his wineglass and patting the girl on the back.
"I assure you it hasn't been forever. more like a few weeks. I take it that your schooling is going well? anything interesting to tell me about? maybe a boy or two?"
that said just to agitate Sevilin abit.
"Everyone is here to keep your brother out of trouble..at least until he drags my son out someplace."

A blink before he tilted his head sideways at the blue drown before he shook his head. "The reason why I need to wait because I got other things I need to do right now and I wont be around to actually go and learn the skills needed so I can forge weapons and other things, at least I want to explore the surface so I'm thinking of heading up there sometime in the near future." A nod to that before pushed away from the wall, it was starting to get a little uncomfortable.
A look at Zykariel and he gave a shrug. "If I ever find someone who I can settle down with then fine I will, until then it's just the normal thing that all singles do and it's not a bad thing." So with a light yawn Galesen placed his hands in his pockets and gave a nod to the two boys. "Alright I gotta head off, got some things to do so I'll see you both around kay? Later." Another nod before he headed off down the hallway, maybe he should look into the forge idea now...just incase.

"Mmmm, soundproof runes, you have to love them. Really really make things easier." shaking her head lightly though with a chuckle as she continued to play comfort and chair to the two children in her lap...who were now playing with each other's hands. "But all the same, I'm stealing your baby. Enjoy." Giving a giggle then. "Your'e acting this way because he's a boy aren't you? You didn't do this with either of your girls...so I'm guessing that you're afraid of another Zykariel thing...you need to forgive yourself for that dear, and move on."
He shrugged. "Dad said I earned it what with how I've been doing in my studies and all. Let me choose what I wanted too. I'm sure you'll get yours soon enough." Turning silvery eyes to Galesen again as Zykariel emparted his thoughts on girls again...yup, out of the loop. Shake of his head though. "It's always tomorrow and later with you." But back to teenage boy things. "So what're you doing here?"
And yup, there were the girls each of them pounced by one. Faatallon always gravitated to him, he banked that fact on the matter of her seemingly taking to runes like he had at her age. It was a common ground point. Lyssthyren was always looking for sole attention, thus target whomever wasn't already occupied. "Thought we should all pay a visit here. Been a while hasn't it?" But a nod to her. "Well that's good to know, maybe she heard some good news." Amsuing though how his youngest daughter still did not care for the concept of time, smirking as Malik asked her things that she would no doubt answer with horrid truth. Sometimes that was bad.

"I suppose I'll have to accept it and move on with life." A shake of her head and she watched the boys messing with each other. They were getting on quite nicely, weren't they? A rather cute pair too. "Just remember, he gets a bath after his dinner and then I usually wrap him in a warm towel and let him lay like that for a bit on the bed before putting him in jammies and then rocking him for about five minutes or so to put him into reverie. He likes a bottle right before and if you hang out for about fifteen minutes, he'll drift in and out. Keeping your hand on his back will keep him from crying and his mind will take over." She sighed for a moment and contemplated her glass of wine then shrugged, "Probably. It might even be that when I had my girls, I was so busy that I didn't have time to worry if I was screwing them up. Now most of my kids are old enough to take care of themselves so all I have is Kelligrin. Sevilin tells me I worry too much about that too. He calls it a kick I'm on."
"If I can make it through the responsibility talk without rolling my eyes, which means not in another few years." A roll of his eyes to that and he leaned on his friend again before waving Galesen off. "No idea. Dad told me to come here and since it agreed with my idea of fun, I did it. Plus he would have kicked my a** if I didn't deliver my sisters safe and sound." A glance to the door they were standing in front of. "What were you doing when I walked up?"
She nodded, "I like school because I get good grades. I got high marks on my potions test too!" Excitement over that way because Mommy would be pleased. "And my geography. I didn't do so well on math though but Daddy says that's because I got Mommy's head for numbers." A giggle to that and she plopped down beside him and then made a face. "Boys are stupid and mean. They like to throw things." Then a grin. "Faatallon got a rock though. She was so excited about it, she practically levitated home." A roll of her eyes and she gave a look like she couldn't understand what was so fascinating about a rock.
The other's eyes grew big and she flushed immediately, thenshook her head made a slicing motion at her throat. "I told you not to say anything!" Sitting back and crossing her arms. "He asked me to hold onto it for him. That's all. I'll give it back to him tomorrow." Glaring at her sister, "At least he didn't tug on my braids and throw mud at me." Lyssthyren reacted in a purely childish way and stuck out her tongue at her sister.

Planar travel, for example. then a glance at the other sister.
"Is that so. well well now, what wonderful information to find out."
A chuckle and pat to the girl's hand.
"One day you'll understand. and by then your little brother will be able to make you do exactly what your sister just did."

Piper gave a chuckle, looking over to her friend. "Zahara...I may not have as many as you do, but I do know how to take care of a baby. No worries, he'll get his bath and his bottle and he'll be happy and peppy as ever and no worse for wear. If you're going to worry, then you're not going to enjoy your time away from the bundle of joy." Shaking her head with a smile, "You relate better to girls, more in tune...Kelligrin is just a reminder of what happened the first time, but you have to tell yourself that it's all okay."
"You know, you wouldn't have to live throguh the responsibility talk if you showed some. Wouldn't hurt you at all. If anything do it to get them off your back." Nodding though to his friend. "Yeah little siblings are a hassle sometimes aren't they? Mine keeps getting into stuff. My stuff to be more exact." But a glance as well to the door. "Oh...I was eavesdropping. The moms are in there talking about things. I think she's unloading your brother on mom."
He shrugged at the math thing, "I'm not worried, she'll get it eventually. Just like Zahara does." Girls, all full of information and energy and really not afraid to say whatever was on thier minds, despite thier ages. Raise of an eyebrow. "You got a rock? You're holding a rock for a boy?" Was it rocks these days? "And you shouldn't let your sister get her hair pulled and mud slung at her..." Because then he had to deal with the mud when it came home. Damn mud.

"Well yes, but each one is different and I just want him to feel like he's still getting everything he would if he were home with me." She sighed again and tossed back a bit more wine then shrugged. "I'll get the hang of it eventually. Sevilin keeps telling me to stop giving into Zykariel and covering for him. I'm only exasperating the problem, and my husband." A shake of her head. "Count yourself lucky D'vinn, Malikhai and Malik are closer than ever before. They can bond over swordsmanship and such. My men have nothing in common anymore and my son has made a art form out of rebelling."
Zykariel made a gasping noise and clutched at his chest. "Don't even say it, Khai! Me? Show responsibility?" A shake of his head and he laughed then slung a hand over his shoulder. "That's no fun and I'm the fun one. You get to the boring yet stable one that the girls wish to marry. I'll be the fun one that they want to experiment with. Together we'll be the perfect man."
He moved towards the door and listened for a moment then nodded and pumped his fist. "Thank the gods. That kid does nothing but cry lately. Disrupts my reverie at every turn and then Dad yanks me out by my ankles in the morning. Not pleasant." Though a moment later he was leaning against the wall much like his father and quirking an eyebrow. "So sisters were delivered safely and you got a new sword. Whatever shall we do with the rest of our time?" A mischevious smirk tilting his lips.
Lyssthyren made a face, "I don't think I believe you Uncle Malik. You're just telling me that so I'll do it better. All math does is irritate elves, like Mommy when she throws her books at Daddy. Actually it's kind of funny." Faatallon shrugged, "I had to go through it and now she does too. They're just expressing their appreciation of her. Boys are funny. Mama said they do things like that to let you know they like you." But she nodded and reached into one of her pockets, pulling out a smooth rock and holding it out to her father. "He plopped it in my hand and asked me to keep it for him. But he smiled when he did it and Daddy you should see him. He's really cute. Red eyes just like you and me!"

"I can prove it. planes are on a stream, like ripples in a pond. to get to certain planes you have to know how many ring out you need to be and where along that ring the place you want to go is. which is often solved using mathmatical equation. so there."
tapping her nose with his finger before glancing at the other sister's rock...that was a strange gift. whatever happened to flowers or gemstones?

"Don't worry about it Zahara, things will be just fine. Cross my little elven heart." Settling both children on the floor then and letting them take to the various toys that were on the floor. "Lucky hm? Well yes they get to bond over swords and the like, though Malik isn't as close as you would think to him...well, not in certain aspects. But they do hold each other's company well." Though yes she felt left out sometimes too, but she had learned to deal, boys would be boys. "Reblling is merely an act of one trying to find thier place in the world around them. Just be happy for the moment that he hasn't run away yet." Piper knew first hand what being a rebel was all about.
He sighed and shook his head, well at least now his dad couldn't say that he hadn't tried to say something about his friend's ways. "Hey! I'm not borning..." Almost pouting slightly, but boys just didn't pout now did they? Nope. But his attention turned to the door and listening in on what was going on in that room then his friend was apparently all too happy about the news. "Well he crys at you because you want to just dump him with someone else when he wants to play with you. He'd be a lot more pleasant if you played with him. It's not so bad you know, I spend time with mine all the time. He does cute things sometimes." Shrugging. "Um...plan for your next race?"
He rolled his eyes, it wasn't funny when you were on the recieving end of such things. "It's not irritating." Shaking his head and then turning his attention to his oldest daughter. "You can beat up your brother for not making sure you didn't have to go through it. Fair enough?" Democracy among the kids was easy solve, and most suggestions such as thus didn't come to fruitation anyway. Taking the rock from her hand, he flipped it over a few times...nope just a rock. Before that fatherly look...the boy thing was already starting. "Save the flirting for more than rocks..." Seriously...rocks these days? His wife still appreciated the little gifts and jewelry. He'd get smacked for a rock. Though a look back over to Malik as he tried to explain things. Not worried however about Malik getting his younger daughters attention, Malik was quite keen on treating the girls as his own, probably because he didn't have any girls...and probably wouldn't.

"I believe you, Piper. You're one of the only ones that I would leave my precious bundles of joy with overnight or for any period of time really." Watching the boys for a moment, she was still surprised that Kelligrin hadn't put up any fuss over being taken and then held and then reput down on the floor. "Mine can't even talk to each other without visions of knocking each other silly. Good thing Sevilin isn't a violent man." Her eyes widened for a moment and she glanced down as her son crawled over and handed her a toy. She made a few noises in play to get a giggle then handed it back. "For my sake let's pray he never does. Were you really that unhappy?"
"I'm just playing. You were always my most exciting friend." He shrugged lightly and then glanced in at his little brother. "Yours can at least play in some form. Mine is too little to do anything. I wanted a baby brother so badly when I was little and all I got was two sisters. Now that I have a brother, he's too little to do anything with." Then a face. "And he drools." Considering the plan for a moment, he shook his head. "Nope. Destyny is taking some time for herself to play today. No training." He grinned. "I challenge you to a battle in the arena."
A shake of the younger girl's pigtailed head and she gave Malik that suspicious look before she giggled. "Someone's already figured it out beforehand. So all you have to do is memorize what they figured out and BAM! Interplanar travel." Though she was curious for the moment and she blinked. "How many planes have you been to, Uncle Malik?"
"I'm going to tell him that you said I could too!" Laughing, Faatallon took back the rock and pocketed it. "You don't think I'd do anything for a rock, do you? It's the fact that he noticed me, Daddy. When he gives me something worth having, then we might talk about something a little more. I just gave him a wave today. Mama says you have to make them work for it or you never get anything worth having."

"Lets see. I'm from the Norrathian plane. So this one counts as one I've been to...so let me see...eighteen planes. fought on most of them in wars and conquests...and of course there was Andal and the plane I met your Aunt on. So yes, eighteen in all."
then a shrug.
"That's true. but someone had to figure it out, didn't they. and they used mathmatics as well as arcane knowledge to do it. and think about how many unexplored planes there may be by them?"

"At a point I was. It's not fun when you don't know where you belong and it seems like everyone else around you does. It's just continual frustration till you finally think that by leaving, it will make things better. Unfortunately, most times that isn't true and you find out that you should of stayed where you belonged. And sometimes...you do find better when you wander. I wouldn't worry about it too much Zahara...I don't think Zykariel would do it. He's smart and able to cope. And he wouldn't put your or Sevilin through that kind of mental torture."
A snicker. "I'm you're only friend...or was at least." Shaking his head lightly with a slight grin at his friend's...well he could indeed call it whining now couldn't he? "Soon as he learns to walk, he'll be more so...help teach him. And well...you drooled too when you were little." Smirking at that before a turn down on race plans and then a challenge. "A battle in the arena? You better get yourself something better than your riggity friggin' staff. Of course I accept, I have a new sword to test out now don't I?"
Well, Malik had done his fair share of traveling now hadn't he? Interesting to know these little details but then again he had a thing for learning anyway. But he turned his attention back to Faatallon. Did not like the fact of her doing anything for anything, but he couldn't very well put her in a box...well, he could but that would be wrong. But a laugh on his part, patting her on the back. "And the woman is already passing down her secrets...I dare say it is time to start being weary." Poking his daughter then in the nose for nostalgia's sake. "Just behave yourself in that respect, yes?"
