"I would appreciate that very much." She plopped a strudel on her plate and then broke a piece off and chewed thoughtfully. "I was thinking about ma-" Zahara glanced up in surprise as Malik appeared and shook her head. "If you want to do something Malik, go for it. You would have a better idea about what works at weddings than I would." She wrote a few more things down on her list and then nodded. "Your tailor usually has some really good ideas and I'd like to...look like me but not..."
"Here and there, " Lateef chuckled, "There are certain things that make the scenery that much better. Caprice finds she agrees with me as well." He finished buttoning his shirt and took a piece of paper from Zahara's book and began to jot down notes for the speech he'd be delivering later on. "I do believe we both brought fancy clothes so that should be no problem whatsoever."
Zykariel made a noise of protest and smacked at the hand trying to get him up. "Not yet we gotta wait for Mommy to come out..." He rolled over and snuggled back in, glancing at the bathroom to make sure he'd see.

Piper blinked and looked over to her husband...well wasn't he looking just so tempting in that overly casual way this morning. Though she blinked agian instead of rolling her eyes at his proclaimed meddling. He wanted to meddle, but in the good way? How sweet. And amusing. A gesture over to Malik. "That man does have wonderful taste, you have to give him that." A chuckle and then a look back to Zahara. "Careful, he has a flare for turning casual things in mass scale of granduer." Tilt of her head. "Look like you, but not. Ah yes, the ever present want of any woman on her wedding day...surprise the groom in a sense. It's fun."
Another poke to his son. "Mommy isn't coming out because she's not in there. She left really early this morning. But she did leave us breakfast so we'd have something to eat before we head on over to Twilight ourselves." Every present work to be done and what not. Not that he minded, he liked to work. Tugging on the boy's ankle then. "Come on."

"I don't want grandiose or gradeur or anything like that, Malik. Just something simple and meaningful." She didn't want to hear anyone say 'I told you so' or anything along those lines either. She just wanted her chance to be a bride and link lives with the man she loved. "Right, so my thought was to go see the tailor and see what he might come up with. I was also thinking that one of my own dresses might do nicely. I've worn a few different ones in the past and all of them are lovely." She laughed fo ra moment. "I'd probably surprise him if I wore pants but I don't want to." Then a snap of her fingers, "Fancy clothes for the boys. We need to get on that. Someone go tell the tailor right now!"
He made another noise of protest and then squealed when his ankle was tugged. "But Daddy...!" Of course knowing that his mother was at Twilight had him much happier about getting up. "That means I won't have to eat your food!" That was exciting. He squirmed free and stood up, then waited for his father to turn before he hopped onto daddy's back locking his legs around his waist. "What's she doing over there? Making up with Piper or beating up Mr. Malik?"

"I told him the same thing, it all just kind of goes around in a circle and somehow he manages. Not that I'm complaining mind you, I did love my own wedding. And that was after he was through with it." Giving a light melodic laugh. Dismissive wave of her hand though. "Bah, you can't wear something you've owned. Gotta have something new." Though an amused look at the mention of putting the boys in fancy clothes. "Should be a struggle and a half unless I can get him on the 'your father is doing it' course."
He gave that flat stoic look a moment at the boy. "Yeah, ha ha....you don't have to eat my cooking." Rolling his eyes slightly before shaking his head and turning his back, expecting the boy to follow, only to be jumped upon and made a mode of transportation. "She's planning the wedding." Taking the boy to his room and dumping him off to get him dressed, but letting him piggyback downstairs as well, plopping him at the table. "Eat up, then we can go."

"Yours was very nice but it was a huge mess. It took nearly three months to get all the way together and I want to be married in the next two days. I don't want anything really big and really wild...just me and Sevilin and those we love and hold dear." A nod to the dress and she stood. "Then let us go talk to the tailor and see what he has in mind."
"How come you aren't helping Daddy? Don't you want to plan too?" He pulled on a pair of pants and then a tunic and his boots as he was hopping his way to the doorway where he once again got to ride piggyback. He quickly finished tying his shoe and then grinned. "Pancakes!" Thus no more words were heard out of the child as he began to eat. "Do I get to help?"

"I wouldn't say mess, and we had that kind of time to burn, seeing as we were waiting for Council and such. But understandable, " Turning a look to Malik once more, "Hear that A'mael? Not too much. You had all the fun you wanted when you pulled the stops out for our wedding." A roll of her eyes then. "Aw you're going to make me listen to the taylor fawn over you?"
"Wedding plans are more of a girl thing, they like everything to be thier way mostly. I mean I wouldn't mind helping if she asked." Getting his own breakfast as well, the two of them putting aware thier fair share of things, which meant no leftovers and thus dishes got cleaned and he was picking the boy up. "I suppose you could help if you asked." Out the door with them, pulling a quick translocation and they were walking into Twilight.

Zahara was half wrapped up in four different shades of fabric and she was shaking her head. "I don't know...maybe this one but it's a little dark for my skin color. I really do like that blue you used for the other outfit but my signature color is always purple in some shade or form. I was thinking maybe something a little more modest but not too much so. Just a few spots of skin showing through. He's already seen everything I have and I want to tempt him but not flaunt it that much. Am I making any sense at all?"
"You should let her know that Daddy. SHe can't read your mind like Malik can. She doesn't have a sword." He glanced around for a moment looking for anyone of hte people he wanted to see then frowned. "Where's Malikhai?" Which got him told that his friend was still sleeping. "I guess that means you're stuck wiht me." Latching to his father.

"Hey...I can due little. and subtle grandoise..."
before he went to scheming, down in his study. Malik did love to scheme and was already designing things for this 'little' wedding while the ladies did the clothing thing.

"Subtle, yes...Malik you are not a subtle man most times." But merely giving a chuckle as the group had parted ways and the women took to the taylor as Malik took to his study. Soon enough amid the flurry of fabric and the excited taylor, whom Piper was annoyed with at this point and vaguely entertained the idea of firing for his fawning, it was descision time. "Lavendar is nice. It's not too bright against you but is still a nice contrast. And I suggest that you have it down to your ankles, and up to your neck, no sleeves, have some skin showing a little through the middle."
"You don't need a sword for that son, and believe me, if she wants my help or my opinion she'll be sure to ask for it." Patting teh boy's back with a chuckle and then a shake of his head. "You say that like it's a bad thing, and it isn't I like spending time with you. You can just work with me today until he gets up, how's that sound?" Before walking into the dining room, fully expecting to find others there, he blinked when he found only one moon elf. "Nothing is ever cut and dry here..."

"Yes I agree. Alright then." She turned and began gesturing to her body, mentioning various things to the tailor. "I think I should like my sides revealed. To have the dress end in a point and then connect to the skirt and flare out that way. Perfect hourglass in a sense. I was also thinking, perhaps instead of gloves that maybe veiling connecting from my shoulders down so that it would be open and yet still covered. I'm trying to make this an outfit he will always remember." Finishing up with the tailor, she glanced over at Piper and gave her a smile. "So then, dress is taken care of and he's already got the measurements for both boys so he'll start on those as soon as we leave. Kariel gets green. What do you want for Malikhai?"
"you don't? Just magic, right? I knew it! Does that mean I can learn it too?" That would be exciting. To be able to stand in one room and call someone in the next without a sword. "I like working with you, we get to walk around and make scowly faces at everyone and scare them off. It's fun."
Lateef glanced up at the two drow that had come to join him and he immediately recognized Zahara's son, which meant that this would be Sevilin, the one he needed to talk to. He nodded to them both. "I'm sure if you mention it to the serfs they'll get you something just as you wish." Joking around to break the ice slightly. "Good morning, would you mind taking a seat for a moment? I have a few things I'd like to talk to you about." He gave a smile to Zykariel and then gestured to the seats before him. "Are you hungry? There's plenty of food. Zahara graced us with her culinary talent this morning."

"Sounds like you have it all figured out nicely then." Giving a light nod and tucking a bit of her hair behind her ear, before a look over to the tailor. "Burgandy or black, don't you dare put him in blue of any shade. Alright then Zahara. We have your place taken care of, your food taken care of, priest, guests, clothes. That's about it really. Anything you need for you and Sevilin?"
"I suppose you could learn it. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't...it's a picky little trick. But if you wanted to learn, I suppose we could make it so you could." A blink then. "I don't scowl all the time when I work." Turning his attention back to Lateef, and giving him a calculating once over, he walked over to a chair and took a seat, setting Zykariel in his lap. "She left us breakfast before she came." Giving the, 'now what do you want' look.

"It does, doesn't it?" She held the fabric for a moment as though it had just hit her and then turned to Piper. "I'm really getting married aren't I? It's really happening..." She twirled quicky and let out a laugh then handed the fabric back to the tailor. "We'll be back later to check on the clothes." Looping an arm through Piper's she shrugged. "I don't think so. Sevilin has his fancy outfit already and there's no way I'm going to get him into another one..." Pausing briefly she turned and raised an eyebrow. "Should we get new rings?"
"I want a cinnamon cake." Then remembering his manners, "Please?"
"Ah I see we were all blessed by her gifts. Splendid." Lateef was in no hurry to finish this conversation despite Sevilin's feelings for surface elves. "You are not partial to my home plane, Sevilin. You do understand that this will be done Andallian style?" He pulled the plate to him and cut off a piece of the strudel then pushed it towards the little boy, along with a fork and a napkin. "Zahara tells me you two want this. Why?"

She smiled lightly. "Yup your really are. Bet you didn't think anything like this was ever going to happen, did you. You know, I find that that's a universal thing, or so I think. I didn't expect to be marrying Malik either." Piper cleared her throat. "I meant anything personal. Though the rings...I think you should keep the ones you have, maybe modify them a little. After all, your son did give them to you both with good intentions behind them, and they're quite nice."
A pat at his son's hair as he remembered his manners. Lateef was too cheerful in the morning for his tastes personally. "No, I'm not partial to that place. Didn't grow up very well there." Obvious hostility in his voice at the mention of the place. "But yes, I understand that. It's the only wedding she's seen that's an actual thing and that's what she wants. Why not let her be happy and have what she thinks is important."

"Nope, but then I didn't believe love was possible either and look where that got me. Now I've got a lover and a little boy." And soon another little one too but she wasn't about to tell Piper that. "I love mine but I suppose we could modify them slightly." She would need to get his ring though and that was going to be hard. "I was thinking of engraving something on the insides. Something that meant we were truly married and was really special to us both. Can Broog do that?"
"The fate of most obsidians, sadly enough. Though now that Requias is up and running, we do hope to alter that trend singificantly." He listened and nodded, taking his time with his breakfast then jotted down a note on the pad before him. "With your history and everything you have ever known working against you both, why do you want to do this?" He folded his hands and studied Sevilin directly. "I have known Zahara for a long time. She was a very different elf four years ago and wanted nothing to do with anything like this. Over the years the brief things I have heard have told me that while things might have changed, I need undeniable proof that thsi is what you really want Sevilin, and you aren't just doing this to make her happy."

"Life just turns out the way you want it to sometimes." But she gave a little nod to her friend as they were leaving the tailor. "Broog can indeed do that, in fact on the inside of Malik's ring there's an inscription and Broog made Malik's ring so I even have proof that he can. Does it quite elegantly too might I add without damaging the rings at all."
It really did not please him to be questioned as such and lucky for Lateef, Sevilin had a child sitting on him and happily eating another round of breakfast. "Wouldn't the existance of a bond be enough for you? Or does your priestly side job make you hesitant to bind two people together if you're uncertain even when those who are requesting?" His mild hostlile remark to let Lateef he didn't enjoy such questions. "Yes, I want to be with her. She wants something to show that this is all real, and admittedly, it would be nice to know as well."
