Annora looked at Mintaru, "That isnt Vahn... not the real Vahn. Cant you tell?" she whispered. "I'll be ok, I'm just not used to this... there is so much power in this one room." She stood up, leaning on Mintaru, looking at the newest arrival to their group. "If thats what you want we will offer it but we dont need unnecissary trouble, if you wish to stay there are rooms upstairs, that's where I'll be." With that Annora turned and walked toward the door she had entered.

"Your dreaming...We're all against the world, and theres nothing we can do about it." Said Vahn standing behind them... "If your wondering which one is which, I'm me right now...Only for a little while though...Listen, it's just the way things are...Someones going to die eventually, it's the natural way of life...It's best not to attach yourselves to anything...Or the pain of loss will be so much greater. Now listen, we have something to do...And theres something I need to get back." Said Vahn unemotionlessly...

Annora looked over her sholder as she kept walking, when she reached the stairs she stopped and said "For now I will trust you enough to let you live. If your trouble becomes my trouble then I may help, but if you put him" looking at Mintaru "in danger I will end this association." She looked at Vahn "I'll talk to you in private when you have the time."

Mintaru was sitting in the top floor of the building looking down through the window at the world. It was night, so the streets were relatively empty, save for a lonely cab every now and again. A stray dog was digging through a trash can to help feed it's pup, who was behind it. It was a pitiful sight and filled Mintaru with sadness. A man walked out of the shop beside the dog and began yelling at it. The dog growled and the man threw his boot at it. The dog yelped and backed away into the path of one of the few cabs driving through the street. It was hit and died instantly. The driver sped away and the shop keeper started laughing, saying "One less miserable being on this Earth." Mintaru was filled with rage and sadness. Rage against the horrible man who forced this dog into the road and sadness for the pup. Mintaru walked down the stairs and crossed the street, to where the dead dog laid. He looked at the pup and walked into the man's shop. "I am closing-get out of here, Now, before I call the police.", said the man. Mintaru grabbed him by the neck. "One less miserable being on this Earth", said Mintaru. Mintaru then stabbed all 14 of his vectors in the man's stomach and ripped them outward in different directions. The man exploded into millions of pieces, painting his store red. Mintaru walked out of the store and called the little dog to follow him to the abandoned building, in which he resided. Mintaru smiled at the dog and picked him up. He hugged the dog and carried him up the building. As he was about to open the door, a question popped into his mind. "Will they let me keep him?"

Annora sat watching Mintaru from a window. She looked back at Vahn typing on the laptop. "What happened to you? Earlier? You... disappeared... it wasnt you anymore." She watched as he typed faster and faster. "What do we have to find? What are you on about?"

"Lily..."Kuro said.He had familiarized himself with most languages before he had been caught."A Latin name...It suits her..."He said simply."I'm just a runaway from experiments...If you're wondering why I'm hornless...My parents used to work under a man named Kakuzawa...Before they were killed they managed to remove my horns through an operation...I was believed to be human for a long time until my vectors were born..."He said simply.

"Kuro...It must have been hard..." Mintaru looked down. "I still have trouble accepting my vectors and I have known about them since I was young. You were hit with it all at once..." Mintaru looked at Lilium. "Oh, I will go across the street and get us some food! Tell Annora and Vahn." Mintaru wanted to leave to keep himself from saying something that may bring up bad memories for Vahn. Mintaru and Lilium began walking across the street to where the shop owner had been mutilated earlier.

Mintaru walked across to the bakery. When he went in he had a hard time finding food that wasn't covered in blood. He eventually went into the back part of the store and found breads and other baked goods. He handed a small piece of bread to Lilium and shoved the rest in a bag. When he exited he saw Lilium's mother's lifeless body still in the road. He moved it into the alley with his vectors and went back home. As he opened the door he yelled "Hey Annora, Kuro, Vahn! I have some food!"
