====Guan Xing====
((Let's make things interesting here...))
Guan Xing just slashed down a Japanese samurai when his attention caught to Musashi. He knew not who the man was, but he also figured that the man was not nearly chinese. So, he took the initiative and charged at Musashi, aiming to strike him down in one blow.
====Tadakatsu====
Tadakatsu seemed to be in trouble as Yukimura's blade came closer and closer. He was doubled over and unable to bring his spear's front to block him. Time seemed to slow for the legendary warrior as his mind raced to assess the situation. He could do nothing to block the attack in full.
However, he some how managed to bring his spear back and deflected the blow from Yukimura . The spear of Yukimura continued downward and was met with the armor of Tadakatsu. Quickly, Tadakatsu took what he could to force the Red Samurai off and swung his Tonbogiri in a wide arc, then stood. He felt his side, only a slight bruise, if that. It was nothing and would't affect him, but he knew all to well now that if he wasn't careful the Sanada warrior would be able to inflict an actual wound on him.

((Is Zhou Cang outside of the castle now? Musashi landed outside. Don't get me wrong I'd love to have them fight but I just need to know this. For now I'll just pretend that they are in the same area just for RP sake.))
Musashi glanced over to see a man charging him. He moved with much force and seemed bent on killing him instantly. Brave, very brave! It wasn't until he was about three feet away that Musashi realized he was Chinese. Sticking to his policy on not killing Chinese just yet he moved from side to side to set several different rythms that he could use for a defensive attack. The soldier was upon him and he dodged to the left. As he did so he swung is tachi with great speed horizontally but stopped it just short of slicing into the man's back. From there he held his position, ready for another attack.

I misread it thinking he was standing on the wall)) Hmm, this man was fast, faster than most, faster than he had anticipated. Guan Xing rolled expecting to get damage for he was sure to be hit in the back by the samurai, but after he stood, he was surprised to see he was unscaved. "Why am I not hurt?" Xing wondered. "Oh well, shouldn't second guess luck." Guan Xing needed to find this man's weakness. Xing was already tired of all the fighting he did, and now coming against a skilled fighter was not what he wanted. Either way, this was a battle and he had to commit himself to it. Guan Xing rallied his strength once again and went for a thrust, holding his spear high incase he needed to switch defensive real quick.

Yukimura moved swiftly, quick to block Tadakatsu's swing, but was forced backward by his strength. Though he stumbled back he quickly regained his balance, pointing his spear at Tadakatsu as he reeled it back.
"Come, retainer of the Tokugawa. Prove to me the strength that you are so famed for." Yukimura called out, his words coming out as mockery.

((Sounds good to me)) Musashi heard the man's comment and smiled. This man was tired from battle, in no condition for a proper duel. Oh well... Musashi thought, I might as well check out his fighting style. He watched the man's thrust and noticed his high defensive stance. Musashi lifted his tachi to face the blade downward toward his opponent's knees, but brought the blunt edge against the spear's shaft. From there he moved in close and slid his blade forward down the shaft as he pushed up. He darted in close to get a good look at the man's face. "Nice spirit." He said in Chinese with a thick Japanese accent. From there he spun to his right and thrust his elbow toward the man's left cheek, keeping his eyes on the rest of his opponent's body.

Gan Ning looked at his opponent, staring him down as he charged at him. He watched this man try to fight him with two weapons, and seemed a bit put off that an enemy would be so cowardly as to do this. He saw this man jump in the air, and swing both of his swords at him. The first one he dodged easily with a head turn, but the next sword nicked the side of his face leading him to put his hand to the sore area. He turned around to look at his enemy, still angry at the sword that had cut a little of his face.

====Tadakatsu====
Tadakatsu replied with more wide arc swings. He kept up an onslaught while taking aggressive steps toward Yukimura.
((Meh, short))
====Xing====
Xing stumbled backward from Musashi's elbow. But he stumbled back more because he could have sworn he heard him say something in Chinese. After Guan Xing regained composure, he reset his spear and glared at him.
"So you know my language?" he asked not wanting, or caring, for an answer.
Xing took a few breaths, his energy was ebbing, but he was ready to die on a field. He came at Musashi again going in for a horizontal slash this time, instead of a thrust.
====Minamoto====
Minamoto's dance was not over. He continued with a swing of the feet around low toward's Ning's legs, but they were too far to make contact. But that was merely to keep his momentum up and cause the enemy to keep guessing. he raised his katana high while his No Dachi kept in an arc. Then, he swung downwards with his katana and aimed to kill with his No Dachi from the right.

Musashi nodded at his words, "Yes, I know your language. It's still a work in progress but I can talk." He said, fumbling a few times with his words. The spear slashed out horizontally at him so in return he met the spearhead with the tip of his sword in an attempt to direct it up. However this man was physically stronger than Musashi was so moving it up and away wasn't going to work so instead he slowed it down enough for him to get inside between the spearhead and Xing. Suddenly a samurai came up behind Xing and raised his sword up, threatening to slash Xing's back. Thinking quickly Musashi let his left hand slip off of the hilt of his tachi and grabbed his wakizashi in a back handed fasion. He slipped the short sword out of the sheathe and quickly switched it around to holding it forward and thrust the blade into the samurai's forehead. The man fell to the ground as he pulled the sword out and shook off the blood. The distraction was enough to make him forget about the rest of Xing's attack and he got knocked to the side by the shaft of the spear. Sliding to one knee he quickly turned his attention to Xing and he sheathed his short blade. From there he placed his left hand back on the hilt of his tachi to get ready for another attack.

The fight inside the castle raged on as hard as it could considering that Japanese soldiers were heavily out numbered due to the fact that the gates STILL stood strong. Benkei and Yoshitsune killed their fair share of men and slowly worked their way to the northern gate, which was still being rammed by Date's soldiers. It held rather strong, impressive for such a culture. They admired the layout of the city, feeling as though it were familiar to them. "Yoshitsune-dono, doesn't this place remind you of the stories that we've heard about Nara?" Benkei asked.
Yoshitune nodded, "It does indeed. Perhaps the Gods created these cities also?" He wondered intensely on this thought as he slashed through another set of men.

He'd known what she'd been planning to do. No matter, some plans worked and others failed! Date leapt over, then swung his sword as to hit her knee. Xing Cai moved the direction of her leg and shield, using it to move the direction that her body was in. When the sword hit her knee, it hit the back instead, making her fall back. She used her shield to cover her open side, then stretched her hand forward. When her hand made impact she threw her legs forward along with her shield, forcing her weight backwards. With this she landed on her feet, backing up as she was dazed from the blood rush of moving so quickly through her flip. She took in a deep breath and her vision returned, black speckles dancing through. Then she felt something lightly touching her foot. She moved it, and found that it was her fork. She bent down and picked it up, thankful to have it back in her hands. She took in another deep breath, adjusting herself back into her normal fighting position.
"You are a very great fighter." Cai stated, hoping that Date would understand her words. "You are my first officer to duel against in a real battle. I swear that I will always remember this fight." She moved her foot back, the sole of her boot grinding against the dirt. Cai blinked away sweat that tried to blurr her vision before charging forward, then once she closer to Date she turned herself, and just as she'd done her flip she used the weight of shield, and this time also her fork, to move faster. Her fork was out and she spun around in a full circle, hoping to land a hit on her foe.

Date was amazed at how she moved. She was quite agile and knew her shield well enough to use it to fling herself around! She was good considering the fact that she was a woman and also that she was so young. Hell, she was more or less a female version of himself! Ha! Too bad she didn't have the experience of real life battle that he had. She muttered a few words that he couldn't understand literally but he understood how she felt. It was a fun battle, one that would be remembered by both of them. All this went through his head as he stood up from his position on the ground after his rolling attack and before he knew it she was charging him. He could only answer with a charge of his own. She had her fork back now so he would have to be careful of the metal part. He got in close again but she began a spin. The shaft of her fork caught him in the ankle. He was going to fall, but as a reflex he flung himself back, away from immediate danger. He landed hard on his back and the dust from the battlefield surrounded him for a split second, long enough to cake itself onto his sweaty face. He knew that if he lay there any longer he was finished so he brought his knees up to his chest then flung his feet forward, jumping up to his feet. He shook the shock from landing on the hard ground off and thrust his sword into the ground and reached for one of his pistols. With a grin he pointed it at her and paused for a moment. The shield had a large surface area and he only had one shot for this gun, so he had to make it count. He watched her move and awaited her to notice him aiming at her. The fear of this weapon would be a weapon on it's own so he would wait for her to see it before finding an open spot to fire at.

Cai pushed her foot into the ground, stopping her spin. She jumped back to put more distance between them, and landed on her feet. Then she looked up at him and realized that he was pointing something at her.
A gun.
Xing Cai's jaw muscles tightened, and weither or not fear showed through her eyes she did not know. But Cai was terrified, there was absolutely no doubt about that. With just a single blow he could end this battle and she could die within a matter of seconds. All of those soldiers... all of those people who had suddenly fallen back, dead before they even hit the ground. Before they had even known what had happened. Cai moved her position, using her shield to cover up her torso from his aim while moving her fork in front of her head in order to make it harder for him to hit her there. Jumping back had been a fatal mistake, or maybe it hadn't? Either way he was in close range with her. She wouldn't have much time react, if any. She couldn't do anything now. She wouldn't be fast enough to rush up at him and try to hit the gun out of his hand.
'If I die, I will die for my family! For my friends! For my uncle! For my father! For my Lord! For Shu!' No, she could not fear death! And yet somehow it made the hairs on the back of her neck stand strait up. But fearlessness wasn't what made a warrior a warrior, it was being able to face those fears. She would face death strait on, regardless of how terrified she was.
Xing Cai's blinked just once and she looked Musamune Date directly in the eyes. Fear lay evident in her pearl brown eyes, but determination showed through as well, even stronger than the fear. Regardless of what would happen, she would stand strong for as long as possible. Past her limit and beyond.

Guan Yu fought hard, battling samurai left and right as he kept one eye out for Xing Cai. She was doing rather well against him considering that he was her first...
Date watched Cai jump back and his stomach leapt up in excitement for he knew that she just took away her one advantage against the gun. With an excited grin he lowered his brow to focus his single-eyed vision and look at her in more detail. Her eyes were filled with fear! Perfect. But wait, what else was there? It was a look of determination. Though this girl was terrified of his gun she stood strong. What spirit! It almost made him sad that she was going to die right here. Oh well, just another bump in his path for glory. He took aim at her face, looking to shoot her right between the eyes through the fork. He steadied his hand and fired.
Guan Yu finished cutting through another samurai and glanced over to where Cai and Date were fighting. It was a really good thing that he was so tall for he was able to look over the people between them and notice that Date was aiming a gun at Xing Cai! Suddenly a twinge of pain shot through his ear as he remembered the destructive power of that weapon. Cai was too far away to do anything in her defense and Date had a firm foothold on the ground this time, there was no way he'd miss. In an act of pure adrenaline he thrust toward the area where they were fighting, plowing through a dozen men, Chinese and Samurai alike, not caring about any other person's life other than Cai's. He shoulder checked one last man before halting to a stop to watch the man go flying into the open space between Date and Cai. A loud shot was heard and the samurai Guan Yu had sent flying suddenly changed his path from crossing in front of the two fighters to being pushed toward Cai. His chest exploded with the piercing bullet and his blood shot up into the air briefly then seeped into the dirt that he landed on. Yu had done his duty and quickly ducked to avoid being spotted by Cai. He didn't want her to know that it was he who had knocked the man into Date's shot. After all, people go flying in battle all the time, it could happen...

{{Guan Yu gets much love! crying heart heart heart }}
It was time. This had been Cai's only second battle, and it was about to be her last.
'I'm sorry uncle. I broke my promise....'
Then suddenly more blood was splattered on her face... but wait... it wasn't her blood! A samurai had been thrown out and had taken the bullet! But how...? No! This was her opportunity to change the battle! Cai charged forward and took in a deep breath, ducking underneath the body of the samurai that had unwillingly taken the bullet that was meant for her. Then with her lung full she let out a battle cry, letting the energy of her voice fill her body with adrenaline. She lifted her fork up and used her energy to thrust it forward, aiming for Date's still useable arm. She didn't want to kill him, there had been enough death for today! But if she could just make his only arm unuseable, then he would be forced to retreat. It was a slim chance, but hopefully he would be shocked from the sudden miss, or at least her temporary cover-up from the body might give surprise. Something... she could only hope.
And hope she would!
'Work! Please!'

Guan Yu smirked and fought his way away from the duel, "If you can't take advantage of that situation then you aren't meant for dueling... good luck, my neice." He thought as he slashed his way away.
Date couldn't believe his eyes. By some chance in hell a body got knocked into his bullet's trajectory! Not only was his bullet stopped but he killed one of his own men! Enraged Date threw his pistle at the ground in a fit of anger and as he looked up he saw his opponent charging him at incredible speed. "s**t!" He cursed as his eyes darted around his area, looking for his bokken. He quickly pulled it out of the ground and used the momentum to slash diagonally upwards at her fork. He parried her attack but she moved with such momentum that it wasn't enough to stop her charge. Her shield was like a metal wall crashing into his right shoulder and knocked him to the ground, causing him to land on his injured arm. An extreme shot of pain bolted through his body as he began trembling and sweating. He kicked out of reflex at her legs to at least try to trip her then rolled off to the side and up to one knee as fast as he could. His vision was blurred from such pain and he could hardly grip his sword. "Damn... damn it!" He screamed out "You fools will not make me lose again!" He stood up and looked around for her with his one good eye still watery and blurred. Blood was seeping through his bandages and even began to drip to the ground for his wound was re-opened. He stood there, despite the pain, waiting for another attack.
((Ahh, that was fun I don't know why but I enjoyed that post...))
