  Saeki was in the kitchen while preparing Aki’s food. He always made sure that it was the perfect amount and a good variation of wet and dry food. The young man mixed them together in the bowl and added a special sauce made for dogs on the top so that his fluffy companion could dig in and enjoy. They had already been on their earliest walk of the day and Saeki had already done his training and gotten a shower and all. He was wearing jeans this time with a gray tight shirt. Since his home was warm enough, he hadn’t added a hoodie or anything and he was walking barefoot. He wasn’t sure what this day would bring but he could get dressed when the moment called for it, like another of Aki’s walks. The Asian just finished washing his hands and was drying them when he heard the doorbell and smiled. It could only be one person really. Of course Patrick had the key to the house by now but they still rang the bell. "I’m coming!" he called from the kitchen and grabbed Aki’s foodbowl which he placed down before walking to the door. This time though, the canine didn’t bother to follow. He went straight for his bowl. Saeki chuckled seeing that and opened the door when he reached it, giving his beloved a warm smile. "Good morning my love, how are you?" he greeted them as he opened the door. The young man smiled and leaned up giving them a kiss. ╔══════════════╗ Patrick had hidden away the key to limit the chances of the stalker getting a hold of it. Even if he had it with him he would still not use it out of habit, but he would consciously make an effort in the future. "Morning angel, I'm...fine" he greeted him back softly and kissed back. The pause was to think of a word to use because he needed to make an effort in lying starting with the greeting. The cats went inside then to the kitchen where Aki was. "Thanks, but I can't stay for long" Patrick said to the offer. "Listen...um, I have a favor to ask of you" he said, rubbing the back of his neck. "Could you look after Hiro and Emerald for two then bring them? I have a big project to do and I wouldn't have time to look after them during that time period" he requested. He knows he isn't asking for a lot since this wouldn't be the first time they were under Saeki's care for that length of time, well only for Hiro was that true. However, he believed Emerald would be fine because Hiro and Aki would be there to keep her company.

  ╔══════════════╗ The kittens spent their first day at their owner's boyfriend's house and thinks went swelling well. The kittens got up at the crack of dawn like they usually do then stretched when they got out of their carrier. Afterwards, Emeralds went over to the front door and pawing at it while meowing feeling homesick. Meanwhile Hiro went over to the kitchen to drink out of their water dish. He was no stranger to their owner being away for than a few hours, and only spent the night away from home in his owner's presence at a hotel.

╔══════════════╗ "My very own lovely and strong bodyguard. I'd be honored to be protected by you, Saeki" said Patrick and he meant that. Out of the two, his boyfriend is the better fighter. Didn't get the chance to defend himself because of the stalker's methods to subdue his victims. Hiro followed Aki to the front entrance and Emerald was close behind. Patrick smiled softly back at Saeki after the kiss. "I'm happy to be back" he said as the door opened. He kneeled slightly, "Hiro, Emerald and Aki-" he got a face full of fur when Emerald pounced on his face. The black kitten missed her owner a lot while Hiro didn't have any difficulty adjusting. Patrick laughed some, "I missed you too, Emerald" he said as he gently pulled the kitten off and held her in his arms. He gave Hiro a scratch under the chin, getting a purr from the cat then petting Aki on the head. "I'll make it up to you guys for being gone for so long" he proclaimed to the animals.

╔══════════════╗ The black cat clung onto her owner's arm when he tried to set her down. Patrick decided to continue to carry Emerald since that is what the kitten wanted. Hiro followed them inside and watched his owner take off his shoes then hopped on while the man was kneeling to take off his shoes. Patrick was pleased that his cats wanted to be around him so much, erasing the doubts and worries he had on the reunion. He looked at his boyfriend, "A cup of water would be fine" he responded. Asking for wine or a different alcoholic beverage wouldn't be unusual in celebration of returning alive, but he didn't think his boyfriend would have any considering the younger male is underage. Also he didn't want to be the only drunk. He walked over to the living room with his felines and sat down on the couch. Emerald let go and sat down on the man's lap.

╔══════════════╗ Patrick took his first shower in a long while last night and slept in the same room, same bed as his boyfriend like they have in the past. He woke up in the middle of the night from a nightmare and it lingered in his mind after opening his eyes. Looking at his sleeping boyfriend helped comfort him and remind him as to where and when he is. Absent-mindedly nuzzled the other male reinforcing that he wasn't in another dream. He fell back to sleep feeling relieved and woke up in the morning a little tired. Reluctantly opened his eyes and sat up hearing his cats meowing someplace else in the house. Yawning a little, he went back to sleep for a couple more minutes and sat up again. Looking around he noticed this wasn't his house, right, he decided to stay over his boyfriend's place for his mental health and to avoid the media. Being here was comforting and safe.

╔══════════════╗ Patrick looked at his partner sleepily. "Good morning, honeybear. It was better because of you" he greeted back. His boyfriend's strong presence was comforting for him. He watched the other male quietly and kissed back. "Alright, dear. I will graciously take you up on that offer" he replied to the offer. He laid back down and pulled the cover up some then fell back to sleep. Two and half an hour later he woke up to hear his phone vibrate. He had plugged the phone to the charge yesterday evening. Slipped his mind about it until this very moment. Could be a phone call or a text. As to who it is from he assumed it to be Kenzie, but it could be the detective. Turned out to be the latter and he was requested to come to the station. "I'll be there in an hour" he said into the phone before hanging up. Went to the bathroom to freshen up before going to the kitchen to eat and to inform Saeki he will be heading out to the police station soon.
