「PERSONALITY」
Guarded, tense, and often ready to fight, Strife has come from a tumultuous life that has given him no break. He is always on edge and ready to defend his very right to exist. He assumes the worst of himself, often dryly mentioning his lack of worth and meaningless life. Strife seems himself as a coward, although that is far from the truth. He assumes he will mess his life up further and eventually die thanks to his own doings.
He can be hard to get to know, especially if you try to push too fast. Strife needs time to warm up and he won't reveal anything about himself to anyone not close. He will not rely on the help of others unless they already have gotten past his barriers, even if he'd die otherwise. Strife is difficult, and thus he often will try and cut out the trouble for others and straight up tell them he isn't worth the hassle. He doesn't trust easy and often believes he is nothing more than a nuisance.
He can be incredibly violent if those he loves are threatened. He won't hesitate to kill and almost blacks out in rage. He can't lose someone again -- he won't do it. He panics constantly about those he does allow into his life and will fret anxiously over them whenever he can. His worries often manifest into grumpy rambling where he tries to verbally force his loved ones to be safe. This can sound mean at times, but those who understand him will know his truth.
Strife constantly has nightmares, so he's an insomniac. He either forces himself not to sleep or his body just won't let him -- he isn't sure which. He is often wandering around and up to something. Strangely enough, he detests sunlight; it hurts his eyes. This means he often is in shade until night time, which is when he travels and explores.
He is terrible at comforting others but will try with those he likes. This often means awkward headbutts, leaning into their side, or tossing gifts at them unceremoniously. He doesn't like to reveal weakness, so he'll mask his intentions with protests if he's outed. In fact, he's so bad with emotions he usually won't reveal affections unless it's absolutely necessary. Despite this, he loves deeply and dearly and will show it through those awkward touches, gifts, and spending his time with them.

「BIOGRAPHY」
█ || Puppy ⋯
Born into a cruel and abusive pack, he was not planned. His mother had been a rogue and was tricked into falling in-love with a member of the pack. Once pregnant, she was convinced to meet him at the pack. This is where she was captured and kept within the prisoner dens for the rest of her life. She gave birth under great stress and only two puppies survived; Strife and his sister Melody. The puppies were kept in the prisoner dens for quite some time before eventually their father snatched them from their mother and forced them into training.
Strife took well to fighting ranks, although it was due to his sheer rage at how his mother was treated. Melody took to learning how to heal and dutifully learned local plants. The two spent all their free-time together. Melody would patch Strife up after pack members used him as a punching bag and he'd chase of pups who bullied his sister.

As adults Strife began to notice the Alpha take a liking to Melody. Unfortunately, she did not return the feelings, often trying to avoid him when she could. Strife grew steadily more irritated by the ongoing's until finally he lashed out after another attempt to woo Melody by the Alpha. Punishment was swift and cruel; their mother was killed before them.
Melody fell into depression, overwhelmed by the cruelty of the pack she was forced to reside in. Strife began looking for a way to escape during this time, hoping to rescue his sister from the chaos. He wasn't fast enough, as eventually came the day the Alpha announced his intentions to perform a marriage ceremony with Melody. Strife fought back, resulting in him being savagely attacked. The Alpha had every intention to kill Strife, and so he fled, running straight through the guards. They gave chase quite a distance before suddenly vanishing.
He later discovered the reasoning was due to the fact he had stumbled onto Crow territory. Pushing himself into the back of a cave during a storm, he hid from his attackers only to be met by a member of The Crows. Lucky for him, it was Forbidden Oath, who have every intention to help him. He initially denied any assistance until she finally convinced him by promising he could leave whenever he wished.
He arrived at her pack and was provided a den to recover in. He spent a few days there before sneaking out while Forbidden Oath was distracted. He had one destination in mind; his previous pack to rescue his sister.
He was fortunate to return to the pack the day before the marriage ceremony. Luck was on his side for once, as while he stalked the territory of the pack he stumbled upon Siege, a wolf also born into the pack by a prisoner mother. Siege had been inspired by Strife's plight and had been waiting for Strife to hopefully return to help stage a grand escape. Stationed as a guard, Siege snuck Strife back into the back in the dead of night and together they worked on disarming the guards protecting the prisoners and helped them flee.
When the Alpha was distracted by the news of escaped prisoners Siege and Strife snuck into the unattended Alpha's den and found Melody, who was more than eager to run away. Thinner than he remembered her, Melody was a shadow of herself, following quietly after Strife and Siege and barely showing relief once they escaped the territory lands.
Strife fully was aware of the fact he'd have a bounty on his head in no time. In an attempt to ensure his sister was safe he returned to the Crows, where Big Bad immediately accepted the broken and empty Melody without a trial (which was incredibly unheard of). Strife took the trial and to his surprise found Siege doing the same. Both passed and, despite Big Bad's irritation at Strife's success, he was welcomed as a Crow.

She's nice but persistent. He is grateful for her help but is too focused on his current mission to truly give her any time or thanks. He's sure it doesn't really matter in the end -- why would she be upset for him leaving so suddenly?

As much as Strife claims he dislikes Siege, it's not true. They have bonded through traumatic times and thus Strife would most likely do just about anything for the other wolf, even if he denies it. He does get frequently annoyed by the other, without a doubt.

His world. He would do just about anything for his sister, even if it kills him. He can be incredibly protective and at times aggressive when it comes to her. He doesn't want her to ever suffer again and can be a bit much due to that fear.

After being mauled for trying to rescue his sister from his previous pack, Strife wanders desperately into Crow territory to shake off his pursuers. He finds solace in a cave during a rather intense storm, but unfortunately (or fortunately) for him a Crow pack-member stumbles upon him.
