Sheva felt something familiar after she learned her new bukijutsu. The feeling was fleeting but it felt like deja vu. Though the feeling was certainly fleeting, she decided that it was a better idea to stretch and make sure that her body was still limber enough to learn more. She walked back into the academy and placed her back against a wall; she reached for the ground and placed both palms to the floor. Learning the bow bukijutsu was great but placed a lot of strain on her back and hands. Coming up from the stretch, she saw two people standing there. Though conversation wasnโt something that she happened across very often, she thought that she would give it a try.
She walked over to the pair and smiled, she was drawn to the Amazonian woman. Her skin was stunning, like looking upon a shark and probably just as dangerous. She turned to Mako and smiled โ Weโve met before right? โ In that instance she knew her from the rain โ Yeah! The Academy! You walked through my jutsu. โ She laughed to herself, who knew that sensory jutsu would help her make friends.

"Shark"
That was the trait which Unki couldn't identify in Mako as soon as she probably should have. Being hit with this realization came with the relief akin to the feeling of getting a mystery word off the tip of one's tongue. A good feeling! Coincidentally, this grasp left Unki in a state of awe where she failed to catch herself in a stare off into space for the next solid ten seconds or whenever it was Mako spoke again.
As Mako apologized Unki promptly turned her head back to forward. "You've got to be joking!" The look of awe is still stuck on her face at this point. However, Unki's apparent expression now carries an aggravated twist to it thanks to the piling issues in the academy. "Are all students being neglected like this?" Unki smashes her hands to her face, pushing her cheeks, then brows, before finally going to pull at her own braid. The girl marches herself in fixed circles before stopping once facing Mako, pointing up at her and making swaying hand gestures: "I'm not mad at you. I'm mad at how the military is failing itself in the task of teaching you. Then continues her turning again, humming a long sigh, before coming to stop when her sights spot Sheva.
"Y-you!" Her mini-episode continues with quite the little stammer at the start of her question. "Was y-your training at the academy sufficient? Or were you given sloppy schooling too? It's not a big deal to be a student as it's the same path for many. But Mako's story of being assigned a teacher and then being told to shove off while under the academy's roof sounded simply unacceptable for anyone to start out under. Unki still had to keep her head on straight no matter how bonkers the situation was sounding. She sighs and clasps her hands together and places them under her chin. "I'm gonna' have to fix this."

Sheva looked at Unki in surprise โ I guess? I trained myself? โ She hadnโt put too much thought into her own training โ I graduated from the Academy and just jumped right into it. โ She didnโt think of having a mentor nor did it cross her mind. Everything that she knew was cause she taught herself, there wasnโt a lot of people that expressed interest in teaching new Genin โ No one really seemed that interested. โ She shrugged and thought about what she was going to do next now that she actually met shinobi from her village... and oddly enough had the same issues that she was having. The thought crossed her mind about obtaining her head band but she thought that would come after her training when she could show she had an adept shinobi.

Mako looked over as Sheva approached. Although they had never met until now, they seemed adamant that they knew each other. "Jutsu?" She asked slightly confused about what jutsu she could have encountered without her awareness. She was still new to the whole ninja thing, it could have been invisible for all she knew. "Sure, we'll go with that, Hesaki." Mako shrugged while giving the unknown bow wielding girl a nickname to identify her. As the girl now permanently known to Mako as Hesaki also revealed the lack of teaching being done at the academy, Mako popped in, "It appears i'm not the only one. If you're going to fix this, does that mean we get to learn some cool stuff like what you were doing?" Mako pointed to the remains of the training dummy that littered the dojo's floor.

Slamming the doors of the dojo wide open, Maric ran head first to the studying section to begin his training. It looked like others were here as well but he couldn't afcord to pay them mind while he was still so far behind them.
Grabbing what looked like the biggest baddest taijutsu style scroll off the shelf Maric began. The training was simple balancing and breathing in preperation for the armor jutsu. Heavy Punch. Next up was the actual armor technique. Meant to prevent exhaustion from setting into his body it would do nicely. Stimulating Armor. Finally a simple elbow slam from him that was empowered by his chakra to crush through ninjutsu defenses. Elbow Bolt.
Now here was some training! Swinging with his fists Maric practiced putting as much weight as he could into his punches. Meaty Punch. Aftwr which he would transition to a hearty backhand almost out of nowhere with the speed of the strike. Iron Backhand. Then using the momentum from his hand stepped forward into a leap that stomped back on the ground with a monstrous force. Guillotine Drop.
But he wasn't done yet! Taking both of his hands cupped together Maric brought them down at a sideways angle to increase the force of his attack with gravity. Kaiser Crown. Taking a breath to reset his position, Maric pulled a dummy from the raxk nearby to practice delivering a beastly overhead feint that would surely stun anyone from the blow to the head. Crumbling Overhead.
At last he was nearly complete. Just one more technique and he would have it. Using the dummy one last time Maric used a surge of chakra to increase his speed to super fast levels in order to take his 'dummy' by surprise. Sudden Straight.
Now finished with his first taijutsu it was time to learn his second. Throwing a punch with all his speed, though the position of his style forced him to reduce it in strength. Single Action.
Next up he preformed the same punch in his next step but from a different starting position so that his weight was behind it enough to increase the power of the strike instead. Double Action.
Next up was his same punch as the last except Maric twisted his body around at the last second to curve the attack around what would be a guard of an opponent. Curving Projectile
Finally Maric gathered power in his legs to rise up with an attack that would gain more power assuming he wasn't already exhausted from performing another attack. Breaching Charge.
Within the next stage Maric now practiced by applying a chakra coating around his hands. The power of these gloves would allow him to parry ninjutsu if it really came to it but he would need to make sure to add more chakra to the technique to protect his hands. Full Metal Jacket. All of this while training his speed of his punches. Double Tap.
The next stage was of a similar variety from the last only at a little less speed. Taking his second punch of increasing his strength, along with curving the attack around another defense. Mixing Rounds. This was preformed from a stance that increased the power even further. Shooter Stance.
Sweat was pouring down his face but he was almost done by now. Using an imaginary foe to atrack him Maric parried a blow that would have landed on his face. Ricochet. The assailant wasn't done yet and so he ducked under another attack. Taking Cover. Then backing away to get some space Maric leaped up with an overhead slam meant to crush through enemies. Mortar Shell.
Last but not least was a dodge ability used within the last second. This should give him time to throw punches of his own right back at any enemy if they weren't careful enough. Dodging Projectiles.
Taking a breather Maric contemplated all of his new abilites and found he needed a way to convince the oppoent that his attack was coming from someplace else. Thinking back to his genjutsu Maric played around with manipulating sound with it. Shihouhapou [ All Directions ].

โHesaki?โ She thought to herself, she enjoyed the nickname and just moved on โ If you want, I can show you some bow stuff. The range is pretty nice. โ Sheva enjoyed meeting new people even more so people that seemed to take an interest in what she was doing. The tall woman interested her and she was excited to see what she could do. This other woman seemed to be really concerned with the way that the new students were being lead โ Sometimes you just gotta do it for yourself. โ She shrugged when suddenly another slammed the doors open. Sheva jumped slightly and started laughing, though she learned sensing jutsu... the sudden slam took her by surprise.
It was worst than she thought. Truthfully, Unki may just be thinking along the trail ends of her miniature episode but learning how the new faces of the Empire's military were being left to their own devices was just plain sad. A small plan was admist its early stages of forming. The task at hand was different, there were two that Unki thought needed some sort of solid student-teacher time under their belts. The student's case was more pressing. A defeated sigh escapes her.
Unki looks at Sheva then looks back up at Mako. When Unki finally spoke up it was with a flat, serious sort of tone delivered with the humdrum tone akin to the squid who had done the same for her. "Fight me." With a forceful yank, Unki pulls her sword free from the halved form of the straw dummy and spoke up again (with less of a humdrum tone). "It is my responsibility as your shinobi senior to pick up where those appointed by the Heads failed. We do have a village and a whole Empire to look after." Unki began the act of tossing her sword from hand to hand as further spoke. "Unless you'd like a crash-course lesson how to make a better, totally not-lackluster ration pill. But that's not much for a examination unless I measured your culinary abilities." Tossing the sword about pauses along with Unki's train of thought.
"Actually, no the ration lecture's not entirely ready yet." The other ideas in Unki's head were ruled out since a certain degree of preparation was necessary. So was left the battle option. "I'd need a few favors called on first if I were to bring up that other option. Hmm." She continues the art of bouncing the sword from hand to hand.

A fierce grin spread across Mako's face at the thought of a fight. Her pulse seemed to blare in her ears, her sight seemed to sharpen, and she could almost smell the tension in the air. She drew her guandao from its resting place on her back, as she thought to herself, Finally, a battle against a true kunoichi.
Then the powerful kunoichi before her seemed to abruptly change her mind. Culinary? Come to think of it, I haven't had food in awhile. Squid sounds delicious. She almost drooled at the thought, Squid was her favorite food and she was nearly side-tracked from her desire to battle. Then she heard it again, those two blissful words issued, "Fight Me?"
Mako snapped to attention, her focus razor sharp, and readied herself for battle. Gleefully shouting her reply back to Unki, "Yes!" A dark indigo jolt of lightning burst from Mako's finger tips and traveled up the haft until it reached the crescent shaped blade. With a mighty swing, Mako brought the blade down from up high, the electricity sparking along the blades edge enhancing its force.

Shevas heart began to race the moment that โyesโ came from Makos mouth. Sheva began to string handsigns, She hadnโt really been around these two for long and didnโt know how Unki would attack. Upon the completeion of the seal, a mist began to accumulate in the room. Mako was taking the first bite out of Unki and Sheva was going to play support. This was going to be her first battle and she wanted to make it a good one. This would be a test of the things that shes learned and definitely a test for Mako as well. She started to slowly back away from Unki, though the thought of this fight excited Sheva... she wanted to be smart

Unki smiled too and the look really seemed genuine for about two seconds until an under lying sense of regret surfaces. It was very possible that Unki's careless nature had been talking a few moments prior and now the responsible side of her was trying to tell her to back out now. There really wasn't time at all for her responsible-self to even think about interviening and opts to act on impulse. Tonfa were picked out for the fight and were made known as she summoned them into her grip. Her left arm was angled and held out infront of her torso. Unki turns her body to diagonally face Mako and raises her right arm and holds it vertical to her person. The genin had backed up and was likely the source of the a strange fog to pop-up. As for the student who seemed divided by the hype of a battle had her guandao at the ready and swung with exceptional zest. Her energetic reply with her stick duo began as a block {Tanisoko :: Block and Counter - Rank: X :: Simple - D} that unfolded with some nimble side-stepping out of the way of Mako's downward, vertical swing and spining one stick around and onto the blade. Unki follows up her block with an attempt to smack her arm with the opposite stick. . Unki knew that having set herself up against two opponents was a change of pace. Then a fight against a pole weapon currently wasn't near being one of Unki's strenghts, therefore the short sword was sheathed, and the chunin tried to recall what it was the Genin had at her side. Mako's weapon struck solidly into the tonfa the kunoichi used to defend herself. A second one seemed to strike out. Having over-extended herself and let her foe get in close enough to land a hit, Mako was forced to abandon her weapon to back away. Dropping it to the floor, she sprang back just as a mist seemed to close in around her and her opponent. Hoping that her opponent might charge straight in, Makor brought her hands together into a short series of handseals. Taking in a deep breath, she exhaled out 5 jets of water into the mist ahead of her. Having bought some time, Mako reached out and wisps of electricity seemed to jolt towards where she had been previously in an attempt to pull her Guandao back to her.

Sheva watched carefully as Mako and Unki engaged, though the fog was thickening in the air; Sheva was unsure what Unki was going to do. Sheva stood straight and placed her hands on the bow. She didnโt want to hurt Unki but she wanted to distract until Mako could strike again. Though she hadnโt spent too much time with either one of them, they seemed cool. Sheva fired her first arrow in an attempt to draw Unkis attention away from Mako. The arrow shimmered through the air as it traveled to its intended target. Sheva spent the majority of her time after the academy studying and learning as much as she could, she wanted to show what she was capable of.
Jutsu Used:
- Arrow Creation: Rank: X // Chakra Color: Shimmering Gold The user forms an arrow made out of pure Chakra. For training and battle purposes the arrow is treated as Ninjutsu, though it does not take up any Ninjutsu slots. Consumes a minimum D-Rank of Chakra, increasing by one rank per 20 lbs. of draw strength the user has. Arrows so created act like projectile Ninjutsu of their rank.
- Quick Knock: Rank: D :: Complex Description: By sending Chakra through the arms, the user is able to retrieve an arrow from the quiver and knock it in the blink of an eye, increasing the speed of bow techniques mildly. Lasts for one post and does not consume an activation.
OOC: Just so we're all in understanding. Unki's DR stats won't apply in this spar. It's best just to treat everything as if we're all on the same level.
Mako moved. By the sound of a metallic object clanking on the floor Unki dares to believe the student dropped her weapon. It wasn't the choice she expected one to take on the start. Each tonfa is tossed upward something like what she did with her knife and forms one hand-seal to dismiss them. Subsequently, she felt her senses go on alert at sight of a glittering projectile barreling toward her. Unki managed to stand her ground and ducked in the danger of the Genin's arrow {Dodge Rank D}. The choice to simply just stand there and duck out of the way was as risky move as this meant her opponent pretty much had a hold on her location.
Unki sought to keep her spot for the moment as it also means that she had an estimate of the Genin's direction and some sense of where the Student might be. Both opponents could move. Movement was a factor she would have to take in while stranded in something like a fog. One actually pelt her with a splosh of water (1 of 5 hit) before she could react {Mizu Shirizoke [ Water Repelling ] Rank E ]. But what felt like no-time came Unki's response as a thrust of her hand toward the fluid succession of water with a whopping dollop of a translucent yellow something in her palm.
The yellow something was incredibly warm, dry, and disperses the incoming water before it could slop starch on the palm of Unki's hand. Consequently, Unki's own heat really offered nothing in the ways of assistance for the lone water blop that smacked into her clothes. Whatever was in that water was totally gross and stark on her hip. Unki will never regret her fondness for nice-looking clothes and her lack of luck for keeping them tidy while on the job.

Unable to see through the mist, Mako became mildly upset over not being sure of where her opponent was. To see whether or not she had moved from her spot might open Mako to an attack. She tucked her newly retrieved guandao into the crook of her arm. Forming a couple hand seals, a burst of indigo appeared next to her and formed itself into a copy of the towering academy student. Mako sent her clone running towards where they blonde haired ninja with awesome swordsmanship had been before. Mako couldn't warn the genin without warning giving her position away. Hesaki-chan did create this blasted mist, so hopefully she can see through it and realize something is up.
Mako counted down the seconds: three to get to the previous location, two for a burst of light that would temporarily blind those looking at it, and one second later she would open her eyes and leap from her position to attack her new teacher. Mako grinned, as the blood in her veins seemed to grow into a dull roar in her head. Clenching her hands on her guandao, she closed her eyes. 3 beats, a flash of light seemed to burst in the mist. the light flaring on her closed eyelids. A second to wait for it to die down. Then Mako leapt from her position, using the fading light to show the nearby outlines in the mist. Indigo electricity arced along the blades edge as she thrust it towards the hopefully blinded Unki.

First up in Hiroki's physical combat training was Soft Physical. According to the scroll, it involved everything that wasn't just brute force bashing people in the face. Focusing on speed and reaction instead of power and resiliency. The scroll described a handful of things to work on, including flexibility and agility, which took Hiroki a bit of time to work through. Nothing too intense though, considering it was made for kids. In contrast to the soft physical exercises, Hard Physical training involved a lot more strength focused stuff. Pushing things around, carrying them. A surprising amount of it focused on how to properly stand so that you could direct your power. It also suggested that he test his fortitude via having someone push him around. He managed to achieve the task via his wind clones, though probably not the desired outcome. [ Hard Physical ]
Soft Mental seemed like something Hiroki would never use. Frankly, it was more than a little conceptually odd. It required the user to stop completely and "focus" on some nebulous concept. It was supposed to boost their formless ability. Though the Uchiha couldn't come up with a reality in which it would actually be useful. [ Soft Mental ]
Hard Mental was an even stranger concept that Hiroki blew through as fast as he could. It allowed someone to copy another person's formless techniques. This might have been even more of a headscratcher than soft mental. There just was no reason for him to even need this knowledge. [ Hard Mental ]
Projectile Weapons was back on the right pace, this time focusing on anything fired or thrown. Hiroki couldn't really see himself leaning on this particular facet of being a shinobi, though his Uchiha skills would make it more effective. Perhaps something to consider when his training was more than impotently throwing shuriken and kunai at a target. [ Projectile Weapons ]
Small Weapons focused on small melee weapons, as opposed to the relatively small projectiles. This was things like daggers. Honestly it was quite a bit more in line with Hiroki's interests. Light, fast, deliberate. Everything he could possibly ask for from a weapon. [ Small Weapons ]
Medium Weapons all pushed towards the upper end of what he was looking for. They still felt comfortable though, which meant they were a good candidate for more specific training. That said, he had a sneaking suspicion the heavy arts were going to be reserved for more limited uses on his part. [ Medium Weapons ]
Hiroki's suspicions were confirmed the moment he hefted up one of the heavier training weapons. He managed the practice moves, but nothign about it made him feel confident in the use of them. Definitely not his first choice, that was to be sure. He just wasn't built for it, at least not right now, and you could forget him maintaining his balance. [ Large Weapons ]
Strange Weapons sounded interesting on the surface. In practice, however, it was just a collection of odd ball weapons and a diatribe on puppets. Hardly the deep trove of weird knowledge promised by the premise. Though, now being done with all his Academy training, he supposed that didn't matter that much. [ Strange Weapons ]
