Two chimera guards stand on either side of the large gate, dressed in custom armor for their strange bodies. Neither matches in combination of animals/races but both look equally huge and threatening. Upon seeing the group running to the gates, they ready their blades, but look more confused than anything once the group gets closer. They lower the blades and look to each other for an answer. "Ito nali ta naliwan?" The one guard asks the other. The other pats at its armor then seems like it's trying to remember something before shaking its head. The first also seems a bit confused then holds up his hand to tell the group to wait. He pulls out a whistle which he blows into. "WHAT?!" A third guard calls from on top of the wall. Her voice shrill and annoyed like she was just woken from a good sleep. She's another hybrid, not nearly as blended as the gate guards, and much smaller in stature. She looks at the group and tilts her head. "Wha...? Did we get cards?" "No ma'am." The second guard responds. The woman sprouts a pair of butterfly wings, too small for her to fly with and hops off the wall. She rapidly flaps the wings so not to crash land. She looks the group over then opens up a small bag on her waist, sifting through its contents before shrugging and returning her eyes on the group. "Were you in the bubble? What did the Welcoming Lady say?" She asks. The first guard clears his throat in disapproval and she merely glares back at him. "Well what am I supposed to say? They aren't...I mean they're still breathing so they have to be guests. We didn't get cards, we weren't told they'd be here, I would've suggested invaders but by the looks of them, the natural events that would've made this group seems like it would've taken the hand of our Awe-inspiring Great Lord Takaku." She grumbles. The last part somewhat forced as she had to make up two compliments before His name. "Well, doesn't He get mad if you...how does He put it...ruin the immersion of His guests?" The first guard argues. "Well, He can get His a** out here if He has a problem with it," She responds; both of them gasping at that. "Oh suck it up, look they've already played with the grasslings so they're obviously having fun. Given, they must not have met a queen or they wouldn't be carrying one around; or maybe they have and they're just crazy. So what is it? Why are you here?"
-]Upon reaching the gate, Ryssa slowed to a stop out of reach of the guards and shifted Camilla in her arms a bit for a better grip. She looked over the strange guards as the creatures argued and then ,apparently, called for their boss. The argument was quick, but came out in their favor, seeing as how they weren't attacked on the spot. The guards had alsmo mentioned some things that caught Ryssa's interest like bubble, grasslings, and hand-picked, so she took it on herself to speak for the group. "The welcoming lady? Yeah she got mad over her cards being blank too...Gotta say though, I'm really not impressed. We were told there was supposed to be some big reception for us in the capitol...Y'know, strong drink, good food, raucous orgies..."[-

"Well, the orgies aren't free." The woman responds lifting an eyebrow. "You have to seek out Araland for--what am I even...Blank cards? So you aren't supposed to be here; that poor woman, doesn't He torture her enough?" She grumbles. The two guards behind her exchange looks at the mention of Araland and let out a chuckle. She glares back at them, despite being half their size they immediately straighten up in a fearful fashion. "Or maybe...you're that brat's messengers? To which I reply: We're not interested in a new lord, ours is amazing. You and your father can go back to whatever pathetic dimension you came from, and literally ******** yourselves. If you honestly believe sending a group of plain, none-hybrids to our doorstep is going to be--" "They're not representatives of Grand Lord Soris or his son Master Gravis." A voice states from the other side of the gate. The head guard turns and looks at the door, vaguely remembering them opening the gates earlier. "And we've already heard the message loud and clear by your Lord, now if you'd stop being worthless and open the gates, we'd be happy to take our leave." The voice adds, knocking on the door impatiently. The guards start to laugh and exchange looks with each other as they're almost brought to tears. "You honestly think you're free to go messenger? This is Nalizaro, you're a part of it now. We'll open the gates and let you out sure, but I don't believe your odds will be good in this realm. In fact, if my odds be good yours will never be. You will die here like all the others and become a denizen, you'd be lucky to have the honor of scrubbing toilets!" She mocks. The guards stop laughing for a moment then wave their hands to remind the head guard of the group's presence. "Oh...right..." She turns back to the group and smiles innocently at them. "Well, I mean, people leave all the time. But...leaving isn't exactly the easiest thing, and in the long run why would you? Not everyone has their memory wiped, and look at me! I was a horrid disgusting troll before I came here, now I'm a dainty, fairy bodied, Adarna." She comforts, the feathers on her bird-like limbs twitching. "I still have the strength of a troll, I'd like to think I don't have the mind of one, but that'd be a lie. I do often hunger for the roast of a human...slowly turned over a flame..." She adds, eyeing the humans of the group. "Ma'am, you know they serve human at The Night Keeper's Pub right? I'm pretty sure eating the humans here wouldn't be ideal as if He did send them, He wouldn't be happy not getting to see them." The second guard advises. The first guard shrugs, eyeing Ryssa in particular with a hungry look in his eye. "When you think about it, that one did say good food would be here. She probably didn't mean herself but a technicality is a technicality." The first guard states with a grin. The head guard shakes her head though, figuring she might shrug her duties early and head to the pub when all this is over. "Fiiiine. So do we let them in or continue to piss off the messengers whose knocking is going to get me to take their arms off?" "Up to them really, I'm honestly surprised they didn't run." She comments.
I'ma wait for at least 4/6 of us to be here before opening the gates...

Llangion is puzzeled by the butter fly not troll's words. "why would your odds being good affect an others? Isn't that like saying that if my Luck is good your's will be bad!" He shakes his head. "I din't think luck or odds work like that."
He paces a bit "Further more who the HELL is this lord and son we are supposed to be serving? I have NO lord for I have chosen none!"

The head guard merely starts giggling as Finn feels his body stiffen up. "Do you know what Adarnas specialize in? We petrify our prey...I personally enjoy just doing the outer flesh, then suck the gooey center from the stone. Would you like to join the denizen ranks early?" She threatens.
Finn's choice: -Attack the Guard -Back Off
The first guard looks at Llangion and waves his hands for him to calm down. "We have no desire to serve the lord and his son either, but you lack a deity, you might not lack one once you meet our Grand Magnificent Lord Takaku." He advises, not really feeling like getting scolded for murdering Takaku's guests today. "Wonderful Sexy Lord Takaku is the god of odds and oddities, therefore by saying his chant, we may get a blessing on our wishes. In his realm, he controls all odds."

-rolled for damage against the gate- Baldur stared at the guards, then at the gate "so, you're telling me... we ran al the way here... through killer grass... and You're not letting us through!? Oh hell no! I'm getting into that city." Baldur ran at the gate, preparing to smash his shoulder into it.
"Guys, maybe we should just relax? They seem as frustrated with this situation as we are. I'm sure this is all just a huge misunderstanding, and perhaps if we're patient it will all just work itself out in the end!" Titiani calls out.

Baldur- Well you hit the gate...but that's only because the second guard trips you as you charge it, then slams your body against the door. His superior size easily pins you in place. "We never said you weren't getting in, we just said we were pissing off the messengers inside."
