Stormy replied " I have only known her for a few days i don't know if thats long enough to create a friendship bond, I enjoy her company and in the days i have known her she has been very kind and i think of her as a sister, but i dont know if she feels the same." Before she continued Sera let out a heartwrenching howl that made Stomry cringe. After Sera stopped howling Stomry gently called out to her " Are you ok Sera?"

Sera pulls in another deep breath and releases another howl from the depths of her soul. The first howl curled some of the flames inward but they were still raging around her. She howled until she ran out of breath then pulled in a couple of deep breaths, calming herself further. The flames died almost as soon as she did, allowing her to fall onto the ground, panting heavily. As soon as she actually comprehended Stormy's question to her, she looked at Stormy with sad eyes but nodded. "I'm so sorry. Are all of you okay?"
Veil feels the charge in the air from Sera's energy and calls it to him, letting it flow in and around him, giving him borrowed strength. "Sera, no one followed me. I promise you."

Stormy gave her a light smile and said " Good, I am glad you are feeling better and yes we are all ok thanks to my barrier we are all unharmed." Suddenly Stormy began to sway uneaisliy and she quickly sat down to prevent herelf from passing out.

Sera sees Stormy sway and tries to stand to go to her. "Stormy, I'm sorry. I wish I hadn't freaked out. That, right there, is why I wouldn't join either of the packs."

Stormy gave her a gentle smile and said "It's ok I will be fine it's been awhile since i had to create a barrier that strong, you power is very impressive if only we could find someone who could teach you to control it."

Sera laughs bitterly. "Stormy, if you can find someone who can teach me to control that, I would be impressed. Most people don't have a clue about my origins, which means they don't have an inkling about my power and its limits. I don't know either of those things so I have managed to find a way to control it on my own. I just don't lose control."
Veil "eats" a little more energy and shakes his fur. "Ladies, gentlemen, perhaps we should move into the shade? The sun is getting rather high."

As they walked over to the boulders to lay in the shade Stormy continued her conversation with Sera. " Well if we could find you a wolf that has learn to control raw energy such as yours I think you can get a handle on your powers." As they reached the boulders she continued " In fact legend has it that before my pack and the other pack arrived here this land belonged to a powerful pack of wolves that had lived here for thousands of generations and they had a many wolves with a wide variety of powers but when the humans came they were supposedly all wiped out but in my opinion a pack as strong as that had to have some survivors. there might be some hiding out right under our noses"

The sun was taking it's toll on him and it seemed that Sera was not in need of being searched for anymore.He walked over to the two females wolves and spoke. "Let me know when you are done talking or if you need me." Before anyone could speak or acknowledge him, Kurogane merged with Stormy's shadow. If he was not careful though, the slightest bit of rebellion from her could push him out.

Stormy was looking at Sera and Veil and sliently hoped that the two could become friends again. Stormy was about to say something to them when Kurogane cut in and said "Let me know when you are done talking or if you need me." Stormy felt bad because she was to supoose to go on a hunt with him but had been innterrupted by Veil and his search for Sera before she could reply he dissapered into her shadow and that made her feel worse because she knew that this heat was making him very uncomfortable so she turned to Veil and Sera and said " I am going to leave you to alone so you can talk in private and smooth things over, i will be in the area hunting so if you need me just howl." As she left the two to talk she noticed that her shadow was twcie as big as it usally was and remembered that Kurogane had merged with her shadow and she joked alound " It seems that my shadow has gained several pounds."

Kurogane snickered in her shadow. "So it has," he voice from it. "Where are you planning on going now? Aren't you going to help them?" He was being sarcastic as he had heard the conversation. He was a bit upset before but now he was getting his chance to hog Stormy's attention.

Stormy contintued to walk as she talked to Kurogane " Well I am going to go hunting you are welcome to join me, as for Veil and Sera it is best if they have some alone time to patch things over, i hope they can become friends again i think that it would help Sera to have a friend around."

"Well since I am occupying your shadow, I don't have a choice but to follow, right?" Kurogane said with a snarky grin though no one could see but it was evident in his voice. "Are you even good at hunting? I'd like to eat more than a rabbit or two." He was definitely having a time teasing her and wanted to know how far it would go.

Stormy bit back a snarky comment and said " Well since I have been on my own a while I usally only catch a rabbit or two to eat, but since I joined the pack I have been hunting larger prey such as deer, so either way I am a good hunter." Stormy stopped suddenly and said " Which brings a problem up if we are going to catch large prey we are going to go into one of our packlands and I know my alpha wouldn't want you on her turf I wouldn't want want you to be harmed by my packs hatered of your pack."

Kurogane rose from Stormy's shadow, and landed in front of her. He felt insulted that he of all wolves would be in danger. "Look here missy. I'm more than aware that our packs don't care for one another but I'm not scared of consequences. Besides," he moves in closer to her showing off his size and bulk. "Why are you so concerned about what happens to me?" The black demon hardly feared many things but he did know when he should back down - most of the time. Shouldn't she be more concerned for her own safety? What was she thinking? Kurogane could not read this female at all.

Stormy scrambled for an answer as she watched Kurogane move closer to her. She felt her face heat up and blurted out " I just hate to see someone else get hurt over something so ridiculous, besides you have kind of grown on me despite what you want others to think that you are a lean mean killing machine I have seen the other side of you."
