Monster High - The School Grounds

Doriana blinked. "When you came, I was getting my stuff ready for school!" She sighed and put her brush away. It just wasn't worth it.

She got out her sketch book and worked on designs from three months before.

"Did someone say Catty Noir?!" Came a voice from behind Dori. "I was there and that concert was ahhmazing! It was the most phatastic show of my unlife! She's totally coming to my party! Everyone is!"

Vanissha chatted with Dori, about mostly herself and her terrorific party, giving her a smile. and noticed the exchange of a wave and smile between Ronan and Ascreama.

"They are so in love..." She whispers to Dori, with a perky happy sigh.

"Ascreama, I hate the break up romoantic moment. But who's this new ghoul you're scarring about with?" She motions the Jewels, who seemed thrillered for the glitter she'd just received. She shrugged, to etch their own.  

[Tori Underbridge]

Tori opened her locker, that was near Dracionia, Glen and Hellene's lockers. She listened to Drake talk about Comic-book-club, and wished she'd joined too. But when Drake sudden'y stopped talking, Tori closed her locker to also look at Hellene.

"Ghoul-friend, you're not looking fresh as a daisy, at all. What's the sitch?"  

[Roswell Grey]

"You're performance was outa this world, Catty! All I'm saying is that it could have used a few more laser lights! And maybe some techno music playing along with the vocals. That way it sounds more futuristic! Yeah!" Roswell was excited after Catty Noir's performance! It was killer! There was a pep in his step as he walked though the halls, everyone wanted Catty's attention.

"Well I'll be sure, Roswell, to add those things in my next performance, but for right now, at Monster High, I just want to be a normal teen." Catty replied with a kitten's light laugh, it was contagious.

Roswell laughed as well. With her statement he couldn't help but remember, happily, his own time as the galactic rock star, Xero Gravity. Very few monster's knew of his secrete identity and he wanted to keep it that way.

"We totally get being normal as normal can be right Dash?" He patted his beast bloody on the back. Dash was looking a little grimm, and that was unusual for him.

"Dash you ok?"

"Oh my ghoul! It's Catty Noir! I could just die! Eeeek!" A younger Banshee-ghoul squeeled with joy at seeing her idol! Soon all her friends swarmed them like a zombie-herd, then Roswell and Dashner were separated form their new friend.

"Sorry boos, but I'm used to this!" Catty replied, with a wave-good bye to them, then giving her attention to the monster fans who made her who she was.  

[Jewels Underne]

Jewels brushed some of the slime from herself and grinned to Vanissha, extending a hand. "I'm Jewels, crisis averted thanks to this uhmaaazing ghoul. Really I thought the roof was crashing down on me there, you are a life saver!" she turned back to Ascreama with a thankful smile. "what's this about a gneiss romantic moment? Where? where?" The ghoul seemed the nervous type, that sort who babbled incessantly when they were a little anxious. She almost put Vanissha to shame in her ability to talk without taking a breath... almost.

Draconia St George

"Oh....Oh Draconia, oh, OH!"

Hellene was shaking and kept hiccuping her words out, unable to find a place to start. She pulled Draconia into a doorway, out of the way of the other students and creating a little bubble where the sound was less of a din. She glanced around and raised her wings as a little bit of a shield, the feathers quivering as she let out an almost decipherable story in one breathless hiss.

"I...oh...OH! Do you know Vinnie? She's an interesting monster with a lot of tentacles and I don't know her very well but I met her in the catacombs and she seemed nice and she marches to the beast of her own drum but oh Draconia she joined the circus last night too but you don't understand she didn't join at all! I was there and it was horrible and there are all these tents and I actually talked to Nero only he was so cheerful and exhausted looking and I don't know why they do it because they eat turnips on sticks and they don't sleep at all and then Vinnie came back only she wasn't Vinnie anymore she was in the circus and I thought this was all about a lease and a contract except they have this horrible ward only they don't anymore and oh Draconia you don't even understand I thought they were going to follow me home only I don't think you can fly when you're covered in paint!"

Hellene reached into her bag and shoved the photos into Draconia's hands.

"Something is very wrong!"

By this time, Draconia was quite used to Hellene's style of talking. So although she understood the words perfectly, the meaning was still too incredible to believe.

"Hellene, I really do think that this thing is much more than the 'meme' my sister thinks it is. I'm worried about our friends. Who is running this circus? And why would they-" Draconia looked down at the ward Hellene had grabbed from the Cirque, with it's strange and archaic writing on it. "Blimey, just holding this thing gives me the creepiest creeps I've ever creeped!"

Draconia opened up her cute book bag and pulled out the plainest blank notebook she could find. She slipped the ward into the leaves of the notebook. She didn't want it in with the rest of her books, but her dragon senses told her that this was a thing that must not be left lying around unattended.

"Let me show this to my sister. Then she'll KNOW something is wrong, and maybe she can give us some information on just what this Cirque Sinistaire is all about!"  

[Dashner Hawke]

"Dash you ok?"

SNAP! Dashner's mind jumped back into reality, after day dreaming. He nodded and told a mistruth. "Yeah, bro! Everything is great!" He gave a fake smile, and Roswell stared at him for a moment. He know that he and Roswell were too good of friends to even tell one little mistruth.

Roswell nodded, dropping the subject. "It's been too long since we have fanged, want to go fang out after school today?"

All Marceline and Rorrim drama forgotten, Dashner nodded enthusiastically. "Totally, bro!" They gave each other a bro fist.  

[Melody Nocturna]

Melody peered from the entrance of the ghouls bathroom, looking side to side to make sure no one was looking for her. As her head turned to the right, she saw Roswell and Dashner, "Aw, ghoul, why today?"

Maybe I could just walk past quickly to get to my next class, then they won't see me. She thought quickly.

She took a deep breath and she adjusted her bag as dashed from the ghouls room to her next class, careful not to be spotted.

"There's the Maul, or the Die-ner. My favorite place is the Food Corpse!"

Roswell went on and on about all the places they could go, most was around food, but he really wanted to talk to him. So many if his friend, and summer band mates have left to go to the circus. He wanted to make sure this was not something Dash was thinking about also.

"Is that Melody?" he noticed some one who looked like his dear friend dash past them. He called out to her, cupping his hands over his mouth.

"Melody!"  

[Melody Nocturna]

She paused in place as she heard her name, "Aw, pearls..." she mumbled to herself.

She took a deep breath as she turned and gave a shy smile, "Roswell! How are you?"  

[Dashner Hawke]

Dashner huffed and put his food up against the wall and leaned back, remaining silent. That was going to be interesting to watch, after all.  

[Melody Nocturna]

"Roswell, how are you today?" she asked quietly as she walked over.
Don't ask what I'm doing dashing away, don'y ask what I'm doing dashing away," the thought reiterated in her head.

"Phantastic! And it's only just begun! I'm fanging out with my Beast boo and my Beast ghoul... friends! And Catty Noir's concert yesterday was so stellar! You saw it too right?"

He answered honestly. Then turned the conversation over to her.

"How are you? You seemed to be in a hurry? Everything alright? Want to fang out sometime?"  

[Melody Nocturna]

Oh ghoul....

"Well, um, you see, I would love to but I am unsure... I mean, well, the homework, the assignments," she giggled nervously.

"But you seem to be awfully curious of what is happening with me, have you been following me or something?" she laughed to relieve the tension, even if it did nothing.  

[Roswell Grey]

"Follow? No... I just wanted to make sure you didn't run away to join the circus!"

There was talk everywhere about Monster High student's up and leaving! He didn't want his two beasties to do the same.

"Because, Kai, who's your cousin, joined the circus!! It's strange as the student bodies are saying that his rumored show, in particular, is offensive to Earth monsters!"

*BEEP BEEP!* MAX brings up a small hologram off the wrist of Roswell's A.I. computer device. It was a Monsterpedia snip-it of freak shows and their offensiveness though out time on Earth to monsters.

"See? Please don't leave me for the circus!" He said suddenly holding her in a hug! Then quickly regained his composure he let her go! " *AHEM!* I mean everyone at Monster High would miss you terribly..."
