_ Umeko would smiles and nod at her offer as she would gently brush the sand from her feet or at least the majority of the sand before putting her boots back on and standing. She would make her way back to the treeline, sitting down next to the girl. She would continue to look up at the sky before looking back over to the girl. They were around the same height and even around the same again. Her face would be familiar, she had remember talking to her before and even during and after class. She would pause trying to remember her name. "Maki, right?" Umeko would say with a warm smile.

She watched the girl walk up, smiling the entire time. It was nice to make friends. She had already decided the course of action best suited for this girl. "Yep that'd be it. Keep saying it though, it sounds good from those lips." she said with a smirk, turning her eyes back to the sky. Her intention was to make a friend for life and the best way to do that was to make their relationship closer. "You are Umeko yes?" she said, unsure if she said it properly.

_ Maki would be the first person who she had actually managed to talk to after academy examination, she had come here to relax but she would have much rather have a friend to talk to, which it seems that she had found. She would blush lightly after hearing Maki's comment while still smiling. "Thank you and that case I will keep saying it, Maki." She would hug her knees to her chest before turning her attention back to sky just as Maki had done. "Yes, Umeko Kayana. You can call Meme-chan if you want."

"Well aren't you receptive." She commented happily. "Well Meme-chan, I think you and me will be fast friends here. Your actually the first person aside from family that Ive talked to since my graduation. Funny how people seem to just drop off the face of the earth once your out of the academy huh.." She said in a somewhat bored voice. But she liked being bored oddly enough. No surprises when that happened. That wasn't to say surprises were a bad thing, just that it did happen. Surprises could be very fun too. "Any idea when we are getting put into squads?" She asked her now realized friend.

_ Umeko would turn back and smile at Maki nodding lightly. "Yeah, same here. Everyone has gone there separate ways, but we will all meet up again eventually, I just now it." She would pause for a bit before laying back on the ground looking up at the sky again through the trees, seeing the small beams of light which would manage to shine down past the leaves and touch the ground around them. "Squads?" She would repeat. "I don't know, I guess it would have to be after checking in with the Mizukage... What did you do after the graduation ceremony?"

"Well my mother wanted us to go out to eat at a restaruant and go dancing. My father however snuck me out the back door and we went out into the ocean and relax. Kind of a family that promotes living your life one day at a time, and making sure it lasts as long as possible. How about you?" She asked, scooting a little closer and joining her, watching the groups of clouds.

_ "That sounds nice." Umeko would respond as she squinted a bit as she continued to look up at the sky through the street, every so often being able to make out a small cloud floating by. She didn't notice as Maki moved a little closer or perhaps she just didn't mind, she would continue to keep her eyes focused on the sky above them, a small smile on her face. "I stayed at the academy after the graduation, practice my archery for a bit. When I was finished I went to get something to eat and just went home." She said.

Maki was close enough for it to be considered personal space at this point. She was all smiles, and having her own little visions in her mind. She heard everything that was actually said and marked it in her mind that previously she had seen her with a bow before. It would make sense that she knew how to use it well by this point. "I was never very good with a bow. I use my sword mostly. But thats more talk for when we arent on vacation. What do you see up there?" She asked, rolling on her side and watching the girl from less than 2 feet away now.

_ It was now becoming apparent that Umeko just didn't mind as she looked over to Maki and smiled at her before looking back up. It felt nice to have someone to talk to, she hadn't be able to just relax like that in such a long time she had almost forgotten what it felt like. She would giggle a bit at Maki's comment before nodding lightly. "You're right, we are suppose to be enjoying our vacation, but maybe I'll try to teach you how to use one." She would pause as Maki would ask her question, what did she see? Umeko would think to herself as she looked up at the clouds. She would giggle a bit before answering. "Looks like..." She would pause again. "It kind of looks like a person in a hot spring." She would say; "What do you see?"

She winked at the girl with a little smirk and tilted her head against her shoulder looking back up at the sky once more. "Hot springs huh? I could get behind you in a swimsuit. I dont wear them so well to be honest. They bunch up all the time. But thats ok I suppose. That settles it. You got yourself a date. We will go to the hotsprings to celebrate after were sorted into squads. Sound fun?" She asked with a smile.

Tozuki Yukimura "Stay out of my way." | Nidaime Mizukage | Kirigakure | Tozuki of the Mist | 830/830 | Hyoton | Dual-Element Ninjutsu | Sealer | Suiton | Fuuton | The Mizukage approached the ocean slowly, seemingly absorbed. He was waling towards the location of the two girls, reading up on their files as he went to give them their headbands. "Let's see here. Maki Nara, Umeko Kayano. Two graduates in need of headbands." Tozuki said, looking up and seeing the females on the ground. "I will not give you a speech, but a warning. You are a soldier now. If you become useless to me, you become useless to your village. Don't get weak and be strong. That being said," Tozuki said, pulling out two headbands for the kunoichi and holding out his hands for them, "your training begins today."

_ Umeko would turn to look at Maki, noticing that she was looking at her instead of the sky. She would blush lightly and smile as Maki winked at her, "you're right, Maki. I have made a new friend." She would giggle a bit as Maki looked up attempting to look for the hot spring. Umeko would move closer resting her head against Maki's raising her hand up to the sky and begin to outline the image she saw in the clouds to help her see it. "See right there." She would say, "And I would really like that." As the Mizukage would speak, Umeko would quickly jump to her feet, slightly startled by his sudden arrival. It was a very unusual occurrence for Umeko to be sneaked up on by anyone, but the Mizukage, was a person of legend. She would quickly bow to the Mizukage as he stated her name. "Yes, Lord Mizukage." Umeko would listen to what he said before he extended his hand, she would reach forward to accept the headband. "Thank you, Lord Mizukage, I won't fail the village."

Maki smiled as she leaned in close to her. She felt herself developing a crush on this girl rather quickly. She followed her finger to find the shape she had mentioned. "I see it now." she said calmly, pointing at it with her. Their hands briefly touched and she would feel a little jolt that made her heart beat just a little faster .then the girl stood up. She felt herself slightly upset that their moment, or what she thought was a moment was interrupted. She calmed down when she realized who it was... Break time was over. She stood and would take her headband from the Mizukage and wrap it around her arm, tying it right so she wouldn't have to redo it later. She didn't offer any words to the Mizukage yet though, just listened for more information.

"Let's hope not. Now that you are officially Kunoichi, I grant you permission to train. Once you have trained up enough, I will send someone for you." The Mizukage told the duo, turning around and walking away, shuffling through the papers in his hand and returning to the office.

"It would seem that I have to stop making you fall madly in love with me for the moment."She said walking up to Meme-chan and taking her hands in both of hers. She took Meme's headband and tied it around her right side guantlet with a smile. "Unless its already worked in which case that would be neat. I suppose we will be working together for a while. I feel pretty good about being in the field with someone I can trust. Plus the cold nights will be just a little bit warmer no?" She said with a bit of inspired calm about her. "Forgive me, I know everything is rather fast but..when you think about it, we're in the military at a very young age in a war focused society. I want to make my deeper connections early so they are strong when they need to be. That includes a love and whatnot. Hopefully it doesn't just seem silly." She said with a snap of her fingers. Her raven flew down from the branch and landed on Meme-chans left shoulder. "Good, he likes you too.." She said as her smile was pushing onto her face a little more.
