Because she was simply the best as what she did. The best at running and shooting and who cares if this shot just barely grazed the beasts mouth?
That small ounce of satisfaction at the bullets hitting was enough... was this why Sir enjoyed fighting so much? One of the reasons, maybe?
She discharged the two empty shells from her gun with a satisfying ker-c***k before setting two new shiny bullets in there, produced freshly from her pocket. Her hands and arms were moving like clockwork now...

Minist almost got herself swallowed as she went after he wrench that got lodge in between the thing's teeth. However, she was able to get out without getting hurt, and she still had her precious tool.
Minist did 12 damage.

Well hurry up and get some pen and paper!
Or bullets, she had to of been running low on those, unloading another shot into the monsters mouth before darting to safety for a bit, letting others unwind their attacks into it before darting into the fray again. The stray wound on her forehead was producing a bit too much blood-- head wounds often did-- but she was able to stay coherent through the head trauma. The blood however was a bit distracting since it kept trying to seep into her eye...
Oh well, gotta keep moving! Don't stop running, just keep going and shoot!

This thing was pretty tenacious, wasn't it?
Alifax frowned. The last thing he wanted to do was expose his powers. But the leech didn't seem like it was going down. He bit his lip, and set his meteors on fire before aiming them at the leech.
He could say, at least, that he'd helped.
Unfortunately, he was completely off-target and missed the leech entirely. He hissed, disappointed.
