Team Awesome Mostly Mitsu stood around quietly while the others chatted. There were quite a few people here so she felt most comfortable staying closer to the ones in her group.
Her head turned slightly when Hel yelled off into the distance catching a glimpse of her sister in an interesting looking outfit. Was this what they had really meant about uniforms? Mitsu saw a few other groups dressed up as well.
Eyes turning to Shun Mitsu diverted her attention to the reaper by her side. "I uhh...I'm a little nervous?" Mitsu admitted softly. While she didn't explain why surely Shun knew. Just hearing about the passed field trips was rather daunting on its own.

Team Luminous FluxWas she ready for this field trip? Absolutely not. Was she going to ever be ready? Nope. But, thanks to previous experiences, she felt as prepared for the unexpected as she was ever going to be. So, when the day came, the she-wolf had made sure to pack anything she thought might be important. And what she had desperately missed from the last field trips that she was preferring not to think about.Pack -Two large water bottles -Two large bags of jerky (no sugar wryyyyy?!) -Spare clothing -A small first aid kit for minor injuries -Deoderant -Toothbrush -Hand sanitizer Thankfully, none of the stuff in her pack appeared to be a problem with inspection. Really, it was mostly just a few meanel things for her own comfort. Minus the cookies she'd really wanted to bring.
The portal LW found herself all but being shoved through made her eyes narrow and tail twitch. Why were they using a portal? Portals usually meant- ....yep. The Human World. Why? Jackdamnit! She didn't want to be back here! She- oh there was Red. The she-wolf's tail flicked in annoyance and a little fear. What was their werewolf Professor going to put them through this time? She wished Ren was standing there with her. Or Gabrian. Skulls, even Tybalt! But they were not her group. Something that had saddened her a little, but LW couldn't deny she wasn't unhappy with the group she was with. She just hoped that her boilfriend and best friends would be alright without her. Especially a particular gryphon and black dog boil.
Quietly listening (and searching around for certain glowing uniforms), LW felt a scowl forming. That...was too simple of a description. Which meant this was going to be hell. If there was one thing she had definitely learned during her time at Amityville: never trust things that sound too simple. And the words 'Training Ground'. Her gut twisted at the sound of that and, once Red was finished speaking, she turned to follow the glow she spotted from familiar uniforms. Like the one she was wearing. It was actually kind of fun, and she was starting to gain a new appreciation for glowing things.
Reaching her group, LW gave them all a small smile. "Interesting indeed." She murmured and glanced around them quickly, counting bodies. Yep, they were all here now. Clearly she'd been the last to find her way over here. Go figure. Though she couldn't help but grin as she took in each of their outfits again. LW loved them! "Hi guys, now that we're all here....I'll go grab the pills." Darting quickly through the other groups, she made her way over and took three pills for Team Luminous Flux. Pills in hand, the she-wolf made her way back to her group and leaned against Mei. "I am apologizing now for any shrieking or squeaking done inside...that." She gestured towards the haunted house.
"So....who wants to hold on to these for our group?" She asked, holding out the three pills.

TEAM XThe days leading up to the field trip did not see Altair preparing particularly vigorously. In fact, the morning of departure the incubus was still tossing things into a bag haphazardly, trying to keep his load light enough to carry while incorporating the essentials. He had to ditch a few things quite hurriedly along the way to the portal as the first whispers of customs and inspection reached him, leaving the bruteball captain scrambling to get himself in order. Thus by the time he made it to the hustling gnomes and boogeymen he had already trained his expression into an angelic one, which earned him an extra thorough inspection by the boogeymen. Still, he made it through without incident, hissing to himself as he straightened his gear and stepped through the portal. Immediately the blast of air from the human world left him a little breathless. He paused for a beat before recovering his composure, trying not to look around too excitedly. Had to keep his cool. The human world! Were they truly in the human world? Assembling with the other students, he half-listened to Red, his golden eyes flicking over the other two robed figures as she told them about the pumpkin pills, and only really paid attention when he saw someone from his group go up to get their allotted three. Shehk. Weaving his way through the crowd of other excited students, the boil joined the Fearleader, tugging his bag up a little higher before he sneaked up behind her, purring in her ear. "Why hello there. Look at you, so on the ball, already got our pumpkin pills and everything~"

"Don't worry too much," Shun said quietly to Mitsu, "We've got each other's backs right?"
Well, he knew at least he'd do whatever he could to protect her. He was aware that she had very little combat experience. While he knew she could help out otherwise, he was a bit worried about her welfare. But, between at least Hel and himself (and Mot; the cowboy proved to be a pretty good combatant in their fight), he hoped that was enough to cover their bases when it came to fighting.
The Reaper mainly didn't want her to get hurt if possible.

While all her teammates were busy conversing and being all buddy buddy, Riyo scooted off by herself. Nobody said she had to stick with them BEFORE they entered the house, after all. She needed all the breathers she could get because something in her gut said that these people would invade and harass her comfort zone until it was nothing more than shambles.
Silently she moved towards the edge of their boundaries, eyes peering over the seemingly endless line of evergreens. Their smell was so strong...
The ghoul had to wonder when they ended and when something else began. A land of humans, where they were shadows in the corner of these beings' eyes. Would they meet one? Was that what waited for them behind those doors? Hm.

She bent slightly, gathered the ghoul up in her arms, and swung Hel around full circle. "HALLO CRUMPET!" She yelled out, cuddling Hel close to her. "Are yeh exciteds for adventure? 'Team X'
Like Altair, Nuk hadn't spent very much time worrying about the upcoming 'field trip.' School was like that for him, though -- despite it being a chance to really, truly train to fight and use his fear, it was also undeniably a school-oriented event, which had effectively squashed his enthusiasm. You mention 'street' fighting and he'd be the first one there, but mention Red or any of the other teachers and you might have to drag him out the door with a wench. (Either kind would be fine.) Nukpana wasn't the type who liked to play by rigid, unyielding rules, and it was his expert opinion that whenever teachers got involved, that was exactly what you were gonna get. So while he often dragged his sorry a** out of bed and to class, whether for Junko or 'Rita or any of the other ghouls who had inexplicably stole his heart, you could bet it wasn't going to be without some heavy grumbling.
That day was no different. While the faded orange light that streamed through a crack in his curtains would find a very awake skinwalker, it would also find a very unready skinwalker. There was very little urgency in the tanned youth's expression, if any, molten amber eyes half-lidded with disinterest, reluctance written all over his face. The room was scattered with clothes, mostly pairs of jeans of mildly varying colors, most with a few stains of blood and meat and who-knew-what, but anyone who knew him knew that was just how he room always looked, and wasn't the cause of his packing. That's 'cause he hadn't. In fact, while the other students shoved the last few things into their backpacks and fretted they'd forget something, Nuk was sitting on his bed, pelt across the room and button on his jeans undone, hunched over a deck of cards and a cigarette. As if ignoring the sound of mild anxiety coming from the other monster dorms and the scuff of shoes down the hall, every so often he'd take an extra long drag from the cig, peeling it from his lips only when he had no more breath to let it out in long, curling tendrils from his nose and mouth.
It was not quite at the very last instant that he sauntered into the room with the portal, looking none too different than he had if another student had dared peek past the dorm door he'd left open a crack. He'd brushed his hair (a habit he was learning from Calder, surprisingly,) but beyond that it didn't look like he was even going to class, much less on a field trip. The 'Team X' Jacket had been slung over one shoulder, his regular pelt tucked right into the side of his jeans, but besides that it didn't seem as if he was carrying anything else. Which wasn't quite true -- a few things had been stuffed into his pockets haphazardly, but unless a student was really looking it'd be hard to notice, a slight bulge the only indication. It took the boogeymen less than a minute to check him -- a record time -- and then with a few more steps, the skinwalker had stepped through the portal into the fading dusk of the Human world, an air freshener dangling from one of his ears courtesy of a particularly impish boogeyman.
The first few steps were jarring. Despite his very human appearance, the skinwalker was very much monster, and by no means immune. Although his species lived very close, even with humans, he had never himself been outside of Halloweentown, being far too young to have access to the kind of pass required. Nuk took shock of FEAR-less air in stride, pretending he couldn't feel the squeeze on his lungs or the slight burn in his muscles, peering around for his team with the same casualness as if he were still in school. It was Altair's vibrant orange that caught his attention first, the incubus walking away from him through the crowd, leading the monster's eyes to where both Sammy and Shehk were congregating. Shifting the leather jacket a little further up onto his shoulder, he weaved his way through the other students as well, bumping shoulders with Altair roughly as he came to a stop beside him.
"Good, means I don't have to carry 'em," He replied to the statement that wasn't even directed towards him, smirking as he looked between the two ghouls, "Anyone know what we're supposed to be doing?"

West rubbed his bruised tongue against the roof of his mouth and averted his eyes for a moment as Holly shuffled over to stand next to Levi. Whatever. He sighed, reluctantly turning his gaze back to the ghost ghoul and her monster hat.
"Holly's right, we should each hav--"
Levi was looking at him. Not only that, she was staring at him like fourteen tiny naked gnomes had just squeezed out of his nostrils and were performing a dance across his forehead. He decided to ignore it.
"I bet ya could kill one faster'n me too. That's not what I was bettin' though. More. I can kill more'n th'botha ya." His voice kept the same level of snobbishness as he spoke, but it quickly diminished in volume as he withered under the tatzel's stare. No. This was too creepy. He really couldn't ignore it.
"What!?" he barked, smacking his palm against the bag at his side. "What'd I do?"

Team AwesomeHel grinned as her sister came over to her, and immediately responded by opening her arms wide and letting herself in enveloped and spun around. The ghoul laughed as she held onto Freya tightly, briefly forgetting about the outfit she was wearing, only briefly. “ Greetings, Starshine!” Hel returned, grinning. “ Ah, yes! Very excited! I was expecting a train, sister, but not a portal, and yes! My team is all ready to go! What about yours?” Oh wait. That instantly reminded her. “… Ah! What are you wearing?” She stared down at Freya’s outfit with a quirked brow, as that what had caught her attention in the first place.

o3o Apparently from the exuberant greeting the demon gave to the werelemur, the two ghouls were dating. That . . . was kinda hot. Thank Jack his mouth was mostly stitched or he might have accidentally said that aloud.
Okay, so now there were . . . five! Everyone was there, and now they had three pills courtesy of the werewolf.
. . . He really needed to remember their names. This was just embarrassing. Okay, um. Think of a way to somehow bring that back up. Um.
"Mor-ti-mer!" the zombie blurted out, holding out a quivering arm to no-one in particular with the widest smile he could manage, like they hadn't gone through the introduction process before leaving Halloween Town.
Hadn't Purple (as the werewolf would be referred to for now) mentioned splitting pills? Spelling your name out wasn't exactly the correct answer.
Jack dammit, why was he so slow? And nervous?
"Oh. Um." Mort hefted his backpack again sheepishly, letting the arm drop back to his side. "Can . . . carry packs?" he offered. Despite his stick figure, the zombie could rely on his brand spankin new ability to carry some extra weight. Plus being a packmule for four pretty ghouls was a favorable tradeoff, especially since they didn't have to let a newbie on the team.

Freya?
...She...she was here?
Mot's caffeine high came crashing to a halt as that foreboding feeling began to loom over him. No.. surely Hel mistook some other ghoul for her sister? Alas, Mot turned his head to see the older Valkyrie come running.
Hells Bells.
The reaper took a few paces backward and away from the sisters, Freya's warning flying about in his head like dastardly imps of doom. Don't tells Hel! His precious hat was on the line. Don't tells Hel, or I gets your hat!

Crossing her arms, she glared right at him when he called attention to her brief loss in thought. Never yew mind! If he didn't know, she wasn't going to tell him.
She cackled a hillbilly laugh at the downright egotistical claim of the boil. Them horns 'er weightin' down yer thinking' er somethin', boilio. I said I could take 'em all faster than ya. N' with Holly? Are ya kiddin' me?! Ain't no bet'at all! kekekeke~ She looked to Holly beside her, laughing like he'd just told the funniest joke ever. That was more of the usual West; easily read and somehow she was more comfortable with him flapping his gums off like the smart mouthed boil he was.
Ah, sure. Ain't gotta problem with'that. She counted heads with her eyes, however, and came to the conclusion that they indeed were one pill short. Well- they'd intended to give out three, but they were four; one person wouldn't have a pill. Instinctually, orange eyes began to roll to look to West but that was what ghoulie ghouls did. She wasn't about to give him the benefit of looking like the tough one.
Unzipping the inner pouch again, she took out the pills and offered two to Holly and one to the wrath demon. Good thinking', Holly. The ghost fox did seem to think things through longer than she did; she had a good head on her. That was something admirable to the tatzel.

TEAM MAFIAoAo "...Whywouldyoubitesomeone?!" Amrita stared at Remi, completely gobsmacked. Just...what?! Part of her thought that he was teasing, but she didn't know why in Halloween he would. Either way, he'd let her go and that was...kind of relieving. "T-Team Leader! Yes!" Scrunching up her lips, the ghoul looked around the group of them, resting on each of the other four in turn. Hmmm...how did one judge a leader from a group of strangers? Hrrm...When her gaze landed on Xiu, she noticed the ghoul was looking intensely elsewhere, and after following her line of sight to the tall boil at her side. Hmm. Remi, leader? He WAS the tallest...and the oldest, and he'd been a year two longer than she could remember... The group was looked at again, but this time she spotted Lacie's shy movements, the fidgeting gestures and the small voice...wow, this ghoul...she really reminded her of herself, when she first started the Academy. A small, soft smile fit on her lips; oh, she would get bet that ghoul would be changing soon. Still, she would be keeping an eye out for her! "You, now?" Shaking off the protective thoughts for Lacie, Amrita turned an unsure grin to Remi. "WHO AGREES REMI IS THE BOSS?" She called out a little too loudly, instantly hoisting her hand into the air.

Team Luminous FluxPack - Bandages & First Aid Kit - Spare clothing - HP Dolls "Natalia!" It felt like ages since they had last spoke. Grinning as the ghoul reached out to hug her, Mei returned the hug before releasing her only to go for her tail. Natalia's tail was just too soft and fluffy to ignore--she had to pet and hug it. "Well, its better than fighting in an evening gown, that's for sure."
Watching Mort and Natalia for a moment, she caught sight of another ghoul coming up fast to Natalia. Whisper! Again, like Natalia, it felt like ages! This trip would at least not be a dull one, what with a chunk of her friends going in with her. "Hey Whisp! Long time no see!" It wasn't long before LW appeared as well. Now, the whole group was here. "I'm not sure if this is going to be loads of fun, or hell. At least if I die, I'll get to die in good company."
Nodding to LW as she darted off to grab their share of the pills, she returned her attention to Natalia. "I agree. Lets hope this will be easier then we all think. If not----lets just hope we get out with our heads intact." Shrugging at LW's question on her return, she held out her hand. "I can I guess. Its not like I have much to carry anyways."
Smiling, she patted Mortimer on the back. "No need. I think we'll all be okay to carry our own stuff. Not to mention, I have a feeling you'll be needing your strength when things get going."

Team: Scarlet SabbathMoure waited out Danny's explosion of excitement, giving a nod to a few of her statements. He was a bit surprised by her word choice in one, but it was quickly explained by the statement that came after. "I see. Well, as long as you packed something useful." He gave a nod, and watched as Roch was apparently being called over.
When Rikki suggested that Moure carry the pills, he gave a nod, looking from the others to his well packed bag. "Sure. If you guys need one though, don't hesitate to yell out for one or just take one if I'm close enough." He quickly looked around, nodding to Roch as he arrived. Apparently Moure was to carry the pills, then. He waited for a moment so he could listen to what Roch had managed to bring, and keep, before spotting the place he was to get the pills from.
"I'll be right back, then." He caught some of the passed out glowsticks, then quickly took off walking towards where he'd get the pills from. He told the people manning the thing whose group he was from, and in return recieved three pills. The patchwork took them, thanked the workers, then headed back over to his group. "Got them. So, I'll carry them, then? That's good with everyone?" He asked, holding up the three pills, just to confirm the group's Order about who would carry the pills.
