^_^;;

I have been training my youngest brother as a Jedi... He's learned the Jedi code and has applied it at school. Then, we started fighting with boken to practice our saber skills. And, I have been showing him to meditate diligently every morning. The subject is life and love.

I quit after three seconds.

Once, when he was at school, my mom said some kid was trying to start something, and he actually said, "There is no emotion... There is peace."

Just wait until some Dark Side kid comes along going down the path to break his bonds and pummels poor Bolt III with his Dark Rage! twisted

So I finally got around to clicking that one link in the invitation. Guess which one it was. Here's a clue, it wasn't "Browse" or "Decline".

Incidentally, did you know that not even the internet knows what the metaphorical "not rocket science" is? neutral

The Jedi would hate me. I'm so not your typical Jedi. I'm Revan, through and through. Only, sans the stuffy black robe and that wacked mask.

The Code's all well and good, but to those who observe its tenants at face value, I've broken it from the start. There is no emotion?

Points to Bastila

Plenty of emotion in this Jedi.

EDIT: Aww, c'mon Bolt, can't you just SEE the light side mastery emanating off Revan? Well, maybe not MASTERY per se, but he's at least 80-90% lightside.

Hold no attachments.. fear of loss is the path to the Dark Side. Love is good, but not specified on one thing, or person. Love, in a romantic sense, is forbidden to the Jedi.

Raises an eyebrow

You are aware that, due to Bastila, I know a million and one ways to counter a double-saber, right?

And you're sounding a lot like Atris and all those other Jedi who are the very reason that Jolee left the Order, why the Exile was exiled, and why I said ******** y'all and went to kill some Mandalorians.
PostPosted: Thu Feb 09, 2006 8:01 pm

They were correct... such love is forbidden for good reason. If the fall of Anakin Skywalker shows anything, it is that.

Also, the Exile should have had the force ripped from him, as was evidenced by Darth Traya's interference. She wanted to destroy the force, and it was possible with the Exile's existence. He was a danger to the force, and to the balance of the universe.

Jolee was a cranky old man who let his emotions get the best of his. Had he been at peace, there would be no trouble from or to him. There is no emotion... there is peace.

Atris also let her emotions get to her. The Exile bothered her greatly. Again, she fell prey to passions that should not have existed. Her greed.. her hunger for preservation of knowledge also contibuted. She forgot: There is no passion... there is serenity.

Such are the ways of the Jedi, the guardians of peace in the galaxy.

WAHAHAHAHA TEEKEE JEDAI!!!

Shakes his head slowly.

You still have much to learn, apprentice.

I think you will find... it is you who have much to learn.

Put it away, son.

He didn't even open his eyes from his meditative trance.

It's not worth you getting beat.
