Alex nodded and sat down, saying thank you, when Sabre served her some hash browns. She then put butter and then some jelly onto her slices of toast. Amy on the other hand began eating her toast dry. “You guys can talk, you know that right?” Amy said after taking a drink. Alex just nodded, not sure what to say. Besides, her mouth was full of eggs at the time.

Alex wasn't alone in that thought. What to say? He was surprised he wasn't being grilled for being half naked in Alex's room. Taking a drink he decided to risk it and speak up. "S-So Mrs. Amy, anything planed for today? Anything you'll be needing out of me?" Sabre asked as calmly as possible.

Amy nodded, saying, “You’ll be helping me clean up while Alex goes and washes up before getting dressed.” By that, she wanted to talk to him. And just what he was worrying about to. Alex rolled her eyes, swallowing. “So I can’t help clean up?” Amy shook her head, “No, you can’t.” Alex sighed, eating some of her hash browns.

Sabre did his best not to gulp as he swallow as Amy spoke. Well he'd lived a realitvly good life, he could die with some peace of mind. Sabre nodded at Amy as he took another drink to keep from choking. "I can leave you something to help with once your done washing up Mistress. I did say I would last night." He said finally.

Alex nodded and smiled at Sabre, “Thank you.” Amy finished up eating and stood, saying, “Oh, and I’m brining David over for lunch. Is that alright?” Alex nodded with a grin. “Of course,” She said. Alex always loved it when David was over. It was like having a younger sibling with all the annoying, no privacy trimmings. She hated it when he went into her room but Alex’s gotten to where she’ll lock her door before David came.

"You're welcome." Sabre replied finishing up. He was curious as to see the offspring of Amy, she was a formidable woman and was a little worried about anyone sharing her blood. Turning his attention back to Alex he asked, "So Mistress, do you have any plans for the day?"

Amy began taking her dirty dishes into the kitchen, setting them in the sink and turning on the faucet. “Um, not really,” Alex said, which was true. She never really sat down and planed her day, everything was just a little spur-of-the-moment. Well, except for yesterdays visit to the outside world. “Do you have any ideas?” Alex said and finished the last of her toast.

"Nope not even the slightest. Are you finished?" Sabre asked as he stood gathering his dishes. He couldn't put it off any longer. It was time to go face Amy and pray she didn't beat too much out of his hide for last night. But he was certain she'd give him a chance to explain. Hopefully.

Alex nodded, picking up her dishes and glass and walking to the kitchen. Amy took the dirty dishes from her hands and pointed out towards the stairs. With a sigh Alex turned right around and began walking up the stairs and going to her room. Once inside she got out some clean clothes, putting them on the bathroom counter while she started the tub. Amy put the dishes into the sink and said, “Well? What’s your excuse?”

Sabre had followed Alex into the kitchen putting them in the sink. Leaning against a counter in there he waited for Amy to finish. Ah there it comes. Bracing himself a little he chose his words carefully. "Last night, very late past midnight I woke up to a muffled scream. Alex had some sort of nightmare of the time the woman tried to kill her. I've been in her room comforting her the whole evening. I swear nothing happened Mrs. Amy." Sabre explained calmly as possible. Hopefully the cook believed him.

Amy nodded, listening as she began to wash the dishes. “Alex had a nightmare?” She asked, making sure she heard right. Yes, she knew Alex had nightmares about that day, but not that she still does. As far as Amy knew, Alex got over them about a year after they started. Amy was almost hurt to know that Alex was keeping it all in now. Well, in from her at least. “Then where was your shirt?”

"Yes ma'am. That's why I was there all night, she asked me to stay. As for my shirt well I normally sleep without it. When I heard a scream I didn't stop to think 'oh I need my shirt', I ran for Alex's room thinking she was in danger. I'll start sleeping with it on if it makes you feel better." Sabre continued to explain. Part of him wondered now just how long Alex has had these nightmares. Did Amy know she still had them? He'd have to find out after she was finished with him.

Amy shook her head. “No, you don’t have to. And thank you. For going to her,” She said, washing the dishes and finishing up. ‘God, how did she hide it from me? How did I not know?’ She thought as she dries her hands, and then begins drying the dishes. “Did she say anything else? What did she do?” Amy asked, wanting to know. ‘How could she hide it from me…?’

Sabre sighed a little as he went over the last night trying to decided what to say. After a moment he figured out somethings he would say. "She doesn't believe the woman had to die. I get the feeling that she regerts it alot. She spoke of the woman having a family, children, a husband. Apparently she went to the funeral." Sabre answered still menatlly going over what else he could tell her.

“She did go. She just stood there, blank as a sheet of paper. Trying to absorb it all in. Or at least that’s what her father told me,” Amy said, putting the dishes away. “First time he dropped everything to come over. I don’t like how he told her he’d still be there the next morning and left during the night. Still makes me mad too.”
