congradulations! even if y'ar chaosy!
Not sure what we should RP as, it tends to work well in one of two ways;
1. A GM vs the players who form one squad ala last chancers, kill team etc.
2. chose a unit to play as on an army (This is good provided no-one cheesemongers and goes "Bagsy a Titan")

I like using my own character.But anything that you just stated would be sweet.

Actually Laceye, I wouldn't do that if I were you...it is alot wiser to RP as a character you can play as, and actually will know what your doing. No one likes to Rp with an Inquisitor who has no idea whats going on, and also the lack of uber powerful characters where ever possible is also good, remember even if you don't believe most imperial commanders are very bright, you control him, he is your character and is there fore as bright as you wish him to be. He is as brave, faithful, and smart as you make him. You can match him with your personality if you wish, or make him a grumpy tyrant of a commander. So anyway, for your sake and the participants, I would suggest you stick to your home army. Or tau if you wish, you know enough about them also.
Anyway, to Honda and Aurelius, we plan on doing this the traditional Gaian way, no GM, everyone participates as if it were a story. Also, the only reason we need time for planning is because we have to fill in the details to the Tempest Marines backround, and to thier Grey Knight allies residing with them. Plus thier long standing Oath honours with the Ordo. Although you, members will form the stories long conclusion.

The 4+ save doesn't apply here, if you wanted in fact you could technically make your guy unbeatable (although the members would be pretty mad.) the smartest thing to do would be to Rp someone your familiar with, someone who you know what they'd do, say, and how they'd act in a given situation in order to really make a good story, thats how you should go about it. I know that if I were to Rp Eldar, or Necrons, I'd be completely lost. I wouldn't have very much fun in the Rp, it's the same in your situation only with different armies. Your willing to play as Guardsmen in the game and its fun right? I guarantee you you'll have fun as a guardsmen the Rp as well.

So I take it you have considered our little testing round and you are now thinking about making it a subforum of thread at least? I am turely honored. Thank you for these high accolades. To Redd: I tihnk that is an amazing Idea. Keep records of wins and losses. Hell we could even get a Librarian (and you know Chaos doesn't have Librarians so I'm complimenting you guys on this)((well...If we have to be specific, Word Bearers have something like a Chaplin,)) I think It would be a great Idea. Give me an estimate please on how much gold you might need in making something like this and I, Mathis, Will fund this myself.

2.5 eh? Well With a permenent Fiction/Archive section AND a Battle area section (That is...If you wish to use the game Idea I created) I will Donate 5k. To this guild right now.
