Kat saw the man who had saved them before enter the dining room, and knew that he was in trouble as the soldiers started advancing towards him. he let out a soft growl, as he was in quite the conundrum. he could try to rescue the man...but with only his daggers, he would most likely be stabbed to death by the longer weapons of the soldiers...closing his eyes, he thought deeply about what do to...then it came to him, a flash of sliver through his mind that covered his irises as he opened his eyes, throwing his daggers into the air, he let out a soft chant

"Heed my call, gods of the past, I require your power and I offer you these gifts" he spoke softly then lifted his right hand up to where his daggers were, streams of ethereal green coming from his hand and surrounding the now free falling daggers. "Come to me...Moljnir!" the daggers suddenly disappeared in flash of green. With a thundering crash, a large, pearl white hammer crashed into the middle of the dinning table, splintering it in two, Katushito grasp the hammer by it's handle and lifted it up out of the rubble, the spear point on the head of the hammer glistening in the torch light, resting the hammer upon his shoulder, he called out to the soldiers

"You better leave him alone, or you will answer to me...And I Hit Hard"

**Kings chambers**

"Truly my lord i don't know how much more i can tell you. the two riders that were brought in with Durza have both been placed into bed chambers not more than a few doors away from your own room. The one that was rather i'll had been tended to by the best medicine men that i have at my disposal. while her life is not in any dire threat of ending she is very week, some would call her the walking dead. the younger one is as full of life as i know..." Pausing for a moment Rouchlos thinks back to the short reports that he snuck a peek at, and he was bluffing a little bit. granted he did not know all of this to be for certain but he knew his staff and they would not rest unless their were signs of improvement, or all that they did all that they could.
"But the female rider that is with, Kat... her dragon is very unique. from what i can tell her body is a vessel for her mount, and she requires a grate deal of magic just to solidify her beast on this earth."

**Command suit**

"Lord Royka, i know that you are a busy man. Our leader Rouchlos muchness. but believe me when i say i would not be here unless i was told to be."

"What purpose so you have here Käfer. Unless it is about an old man that claims to have found our hideout. it can wait."

"I understand sire, but the barkeep sent me here. he believes that our leader would be highly interested in this man. ..he hides his face, behind a bizarre mask. and is very short tongued. he just walked into the tavern and ordered a drink. with out as much as a welcoming glance or anything."

Hearing the announcement of the bar keeps interest in the man Royka had put his pen down and listened to the tale. Wishing he could sit down the words came to an end to quickly.
"Very well, Käfer. Go and Tell the keep that I will be behind shortly. Just don't start a fight."

With that the man left the suit leaving a disgruntled Royka behind...
"First the man at our front doors, and now this boy in the bar... What has been unleashed my good friend?" HE thinks to himself as he gets to his feet, and after finishing a quick note to Rouchlos he grabbed his weapon and downed a s floor length robe, colored a deep red with the groups symbol implanted on his back like a target. "This is a bad omen Rouchlos, first your friends were attacked with you, an old man starring at you gates like he knew we were here but he could not see us, and now a odd little sprout is in our bar giving our bar keep gouse bumps... This does not bode well at all."

**Dining Hall**

"Unless you tend to fight all of this clans warriors Guest i suggest you lower your weapon!" One of the officers shouts at Kats comments. The room had instantly been turned into a area filled with a blood thirst so thick that you could feel it like fog, cutting it with a knife would still not match the tight air, strained control that every man was forcing themselves into. they still had orders but their patience was wearing extremely thin. Every weapon was drawn out.
Swords ranging from short daggers, to clamors twice the size of some of the men in the room. Staffs with hardened balls near the base and a razor sharp spear head at its tip, three part staffs forged from steel and polished to glow like lightning. Even more so were the ones in the halls. With each passing man the room was filling quickly with more and more men. Broms hall was quickly cut off as his person was encircled with troops. All of the men were obviously trained day in and day out. all of their motions were sharp and exact not a moment of wasted time or energy even as their weapons were bearing their teeth they locked just as tightly as rock in a mountain.

"Who are you?" Shouted a man directing his question at Brom.
"You are not dressed like any one of our men!" some other men continued. with each passing moment more questions flowed out like a flood. and the tension in the room grew ever thicker still as a large man garbed with plate mail walked into the room a large war hammer slung over his shoulder almost as if he was looking for a fight. "Then you had better hit harder than me! because if you dont, nether of you are getting out of this room awake!!" He challenges his eyes were sharp and despite the large slabs of metal around his skin anyone could tell he was fit and prepped for a battle.

"First and most important is patience to analyze your situation, then knowledge to know how to us what you have gathered," she answered after giving it some thought. It had taken a while for Gwen to remember her first lesson when she was holding Alice in her arms.

*Dining Hall*

Brom turned around to the loud sounding voice behind him. There were two things he immediately took notice of. One, his nose only reached the base of the large mans sternum and two, he smelled really bad. Really, really BAD!

Taking a step back, more like three due to the height difference between the two, Brom craned his neck up to look up at the man. "Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes," muttered Brom quietly. He gave a glance around him before settling on the young male rider that was ready to fight with him. "While I appreciate the help young one," spoke Brom as he took another step back, the large man followed with taken one of his own step towards Brom, "I think you’re a...little...out of your league. Why don't you just stay with your companion and let me handle our charming companion, err companions, here."

This didn't bow well with Rouchlos men at all. They were itching for a fight despite their leaders orders to leave things be and remain, or at least, act friendly to give the riders false impressions. This wasn't exactly how Brom planned on meeting up with the riders,...buuuut he was out in the open now. No point in really playing dumb or hiding in the background now. "Oh, what do the youngsters say...," question Brom as he took on a unpleasant smile," oh yes,...time to partaaaay..."

No sooner did he finished his thought did Gianto decide it was time to party too. The Giant slung his war hammer from his shoulder and raised it up high in the air in a matter of seconds before attempting to connect it to Brom's head.

It didn't get close...

The men that had circled Brom and the Giant all gave a audible gasp and backed away slightly as Brom pulled his solid amber sword from the man's chest and tossed his war hammer to the ground like it was as heavy as small twig. When the Giant brought down his hammer, Brom merely raised his forearm and blocked. The hammer had barely had time to connect with his arm before he already had his blade unsheathed and striking with unseen speeds, sinking deep into the Giant's chest and into his heart. The heavy plate mail was cut into like it was butter meeting a hot knife, giving zero resistance of any kind.

Even if Brom had lost his dragon in combat over a thousand years ago, he was no push over by any means. A dragon rider’s power didn't completely come from the dragon itself. Long after a dragon’s death, a dragon could still give off tremendous power. For instance, their bones solidify after death, becoming hard and clear like diamonds. This made for lovely armor that was extremely hard to even dent and distributed force wonderfully. The best part was that it was extremely light and didn’t inhibit movement or speed at all. However, it was rare to find dragon bone as most dragons were given a burning burial, destroyed in battle, or lost…and many riders didn’t like the idea of having their dragon taken apart for any reason. That and only about ten percent of a dragon skeleton actually could be used. Most dragon bone came from the original dragons when dragons used to greatly populate that world and the majority of them didn’t have riders.

Better times…

Brom flexed the muscle in his arm that he used to block with as he came up on the fallen giant that was starting to drown in his own blood as it filled his lungs. "Never be the first to charge," said Brom as he raised his sword directly above the man’s head, "especially with yourself so open wide to attack." With that said Brom brought his sword down between the Giants eyes and ended his life before turning around to the rest of the men.

"Your call gentlemen," announced Brom as his fingers drummed against the hilt his blade," if you want to live to give excuses to your leader then get moving, if not...they hurry up and attack. I don't have all day!"

*Kings Chambers*

The King nodded his head, "Yes, she is virtually just that Rouchlos. She is a very power rider that fought in the big battle five hundred years ago. She is also very unique as she was more than capable of coexisting with magic even before she found her dragon. As you know not many without elfin or certain bloodlines of the mages, witches, and so forth are capable of such deeds, much least that be considered as good as or the equivalent of one that can actually use magic."

Magic was always unique. Those that could perform, even a little, were cast into an special category that separated them from everyone else. The elves were always the best adapted to magic. It was said they were born by magic itself and that was why they were such expert. Magic’s way of becoming solid and alive. Dragon riders were second best adapted to Magic but only when they had many, many years under their belt. Mages, Witches, Sorcerers, and so were much faster learners but had their limitations thus making the latter’s. However, you would find a few that had no special bloodline, no dragon, or even have a single relation to an elf and would be able to cast magic. Normally it was small, barely considered useful..., but there were times that such a person would be far more.

...Perhaps even better than an elf...best out there.

The King turned to his dragon that was eyeing curiously. Knowing was to be said next. "Tell me, do you remember the story that is associated with the Spire Mountains Rouchlos. The very place that is said to be where Magic was first found, possibly even born, and where the strongest concentration of magic rests. It is said that that very magic is what brings that mountain range to life."

"Oh and for the young female rider yet to be detain for the moment. She is what is called a Spirit Rider, most likely the last of her kind. These riders are capable of tapping into the realm were fallen dragons lie,...where the first dragons rest. It is very possible that her dragon is one of the first dragons ever to be born and has been reborn through her. It is also said that Spirit Riders are the rebirth of the first riders that teamed up with the dragons so many thousands of years ago. However, Spirit Rider are not always like that...some simply have their dragon inside of them. Usually for the reasons that the dragon die before hatching or the bond was so strong that the two merge in the lesser form together. By that I mean, the dragon and human didn’t become one, that is the great one that we call Dragoons. I am not sure as to which she is as of yet, but I believe she is the first and her dragon is one that has been reborn. Perhaps even she was once a great rider. A process that takes thousands of years and is one of the many things that magic does for unexplainable reasons. Much of what happen during those years is unknown. Perhaps the riders and dragons were trying to find way to replenish their numbers or something and thus the Spirit Rider was made. Who knows…? Anyway...back to what we were talking about before....the Spire? Do you know that story?"

((Read the Spire Mountains thread, or Carvahall thread, to see what I mean Morti.))

*In Relena Chambers*

"Very good Gwen," muttered Relena with an approving smile, "It would appear that you were paying attention after all..." There was a tone of humor and joking in Relena's voice, even though she didn't feel so with pain coursing through her body. Still, she needed to keep Gwen calm, with an attitude that she was going to be okay and safe in the end. Having a calm attitude, instead of an frighten one would help out a lot in getting her out of this place.

Luck would play an even bigger one unfortunately.

Relena looked up to Gwen, her eyes pausing on Alice that was sleeping peacefully in Gwen's arms for the moment. "Remember those two. I want you to tell that to yourself constantly until you are downright annoyed by them." She looked down at Alice, "Keep her with you. Use your patience’s to increase your knowledge Gwen. Listen to everything and anything, even a water drop...something simple..., can give you an unlimited amount of information. Use what you take in to make sure Alice stays with you. Don't fight physically to keep her unless you have absolutely no choice, because you can still change things with words, physical action is usually much harder to change. Use your wits and cunning and what you have acquired understand because that water drop can help find a river and that river can give you exit or means of attack. Count your footsteps, remember how the air turns in these tunnels, even remember something as simple as a guard boosting about winning a card game over a month ago. Remember, small things are just what they are small, but combine together can create something huge. Don’t overlook anything. I know it is a lot for someone knew, but take your time. You may have to do things or accept things you don’t like if it means your escape or what you are trying to acquire. Understand?"

Relena looked back up to Gwen, "Time yourself, and only, ONLY, when you are abosuletly sure you can break free do so. If there is so much as one doubt that gives your stomach butterflies or your mind a bad vibe, then withdraw and wait. You don't have much going for you, so make something to fill in that gap!"

There were so many times that something as simple as counting footsteps made sure she turned down the right path or remembering with her clothing suddenly rifled in the wind that told her a door to the outside was in a certain direction. She also remembered when she had used a simple water drop that fell from the ceiling in the prison cell she was in ages ago. She was able to follow it back to the river above her and with her magic, and patience’s, she was able to use that small tunnel in the dirt that connected her cell to the river and force water through it, making it bigger and bigger until the river above tore down her cell's ceiling and gave her a big opening to escape with. She still remember her guard boosting about his card game that he won and that he was going to playing the night before she escape. So she knew when he was tired, bored, or excited and won't give her a look over or her cell when he made inspections.

*Bullridge Bar*

The bartender raised his hands defensively at Hano, "Didn't mean to anger you. It just you’re not from around here. Just wanted to make your feel a bit more at home that all."

“Get to you know you a bit. That’s all.”

"I'm sorry fos snapping. I just.....hate remembering Cuenon." he replied. "May I have another drink?"
He looked around the room and saw a peculiar man with a scar running down the left side of his face.
"Do you who that is?" asked Hano, pointing to him.

All hellions seems to have been released in an invisable smog of tension and blood thirst. Her gaze snapped in the direction of Brom when he entered. Taking his warning, she blinked once slowly, then moved fluidly like something wild and untamed across the room, pressing herself against the wall.
Her missmatched eyes watched everyone carefully, her odd one on the left glowing dimmly like a distant light in shadows. Eleniel watched the humans scuffled around, saw Kat summon his Battle axe? No- hammer?

Thing only got worse from there- More men piled in, and another dressed in full plate with a corrosponding hammer entered the room. One hit- form the sight fo it- could easily crush every bone in her body!
Fighting seemed less and less like a plausable answer.
Eleniel would feel the presence of her partners mind pushing up against her, shoving like a frustrated child- ' Move over! We can't fight now- we need a diplomatic alternative- let me speak!'

~ Are you daft!? These two-legger-metal-skinned ones have no need to chatter, they want blood, blood like a oger bear wants it's meal. They will not listen to your silver tounge here little one.~

She was about to try and sturggle some words out- but they simply came as a horse snarl somewhere between 'Darnit' and 'Darrrrgggggwl' with a rippling noise at the end as the gorwl vibrated inside her throat.

'Damnit Eleniel- give me back full control! You're not some possessing ghost- you are my partner!'
~ -yes, and as your partner- listen to me when I say- you needn't interfier, this man seems to be beyond any of these metal-skinned-fledglings.~
'..fledglings?'
that word struck her as being particularily odd to use.
they were not much older then she was.. some of them. But this man perhaps?

Still, taking advantage of Eleniels gaurd being down-Maero pried open her lips again, and spoke- the sudden burst of control shoved her dragons hold over her body, and she managed to get a humanoid voice back. Though it still rippled somewhat.
" ..A.. Are we leaving?" she asked, her odd eye blinking more then her right one- almost indignantly. Completly unaware of the plans unfolding within the Kings Chamber. Unaware of the truths spoke meer wall distance away, and sheer gravity of it's importance to her existance, and of those whom were bound to her in fate..yet to be met. About the Spirit riders, the lost ties to magic, and the Legendary Dragoons.

Change of plans- ~ I have a feeling we'll be needing to escape, so lets find a channel! If my ancestors dwelt here, ther emust be a trickle of inner life within these stone walls- somewhere!~

**Dinning hall**
Though every mans confidence was a bit broken from the utter defeat of the man with the hammer. the rest of them did not move from there places wedged into the halls and the four walls. If anything they actually huddled in tighter making a near wall of human bodies. All of their blades were pointing out towards their targets. For the few men it was a classic battle ground all of the sides were holding strong waiting for that first arrow bolt or man to twitch before hell broke louse. even know the smell of the dead mans blood was starting to throw a few of the men into a crazed state, with there eyes getting a bit blood shot, almost as if they were high.

"No one is moving old man!" A well seasoned warrior calls out, holding a pair of long daggers that gleamed in the flame light with a sickening green color. "We are all prepared to die, and you are the invader. to not defend against you is to sign our own death warrants."

One of the men having seen how quickly Brom had fallen the larger warrior knew that the normal men stood no chance. So he turned around and starts sprinting up and down the halls looking for the clans leader.
"He's our only hope!" the young man was screaming into his mind as his legs seamed to move faster and faster with each hallway.

**Kings chambers.**

"I have herd bits and pieces through out the years. Of a young Girl that 'tamed' the mountains evil and twisted desires against humanity. although i think its more just towards the girl and the Spires rage against man is still as strong as ever.
" Rouchlos starts off, figuring he should give a small recap to make sure he had the story right. ether way something was not feeling right to him. It had nothing to do with the King or Dursa, they were still the cold and battle lusting en he trained with. but the walls around them vibrated with something odd and destructive.

"Sulfur, can you smell anything?". He asks his dragon in the back of his mind as he waited for his lord to continue.

**Bullridge bar.**
After a bout an hour the same bald man with the tattoo walked into the pub. though he was still breathing hard and coated in a light sweat he simply walked up to the bar and ordered a round. hunching over in what would look like a relieved sigh his arms folded on the counter in front of him.
"Master Royak said he will stop by soon." He whispers softly as the Barkeep poured him a drink.

Katushito moved close to Maero, using his own body to shield her from the blades. gripping his hammer tightly, he glanced around at the men...it was him, The man who came to their aid eariler, and Maero agianst an army....The story of his life. always outnumbered, but with the expection of his loss to the king, always victorious. However, that confidence melted away. Brom was experienced, yes, but Kat usualy had ten of his comrades with him. Not to mention Okami. Tenchi was young and inexeperienced. Turning to Mearo, he kneeled down and smiled softly

"Come hell or high water, I'll get you out of here. I'll crack open every skull that decides to get in our way."

Such huburs, Kat on the inside was scared to death. An army agianst him, nearly alone, without his magical powers, and his greatest of enemies was in here with him...It wasn't manly, nor mature, but Katushito had the sudden and strong urge to be with his Mother.
