When, when?? This means I'm going to have more things that demand my gold, and I'm still trying to save up for baby seal slippers and bunny ears! I love the angelic sash, but there's no way I'd ever attain that much.

I'm totally getting more than 20 polls worth of poll-gold today! Wonder what's up, and too bad I can't stay up longer poll-voting!

I did not know that, although I heard about getting gold for posting... heart *runs to find some polls if that is the case*

Okay, n00b question here... you get gold for voting? I did not know that, although I heard about getting gold for posting... heart *runs to find some polls if that is the case* Since I joined, we've been able to get 10 gold for every poll we vote in, provided we leave about 30 seconds between votes. But apparently, this was a glitch that let us vote as many times as we wanted in different polls and keep getting the 10g, because it USED to be that members could only make gold for the first 10 or 20 polls they voted in per day. A few weeks ago they reinstated this, and we only made gold for the first 20 polls each day. Then yesterday, the limit didn't seem to be there (and today as well) and I've been able to make gold for more than 20 polls.

Yay! I just have to share that I was a successful hostess this weekend for one of Jason's brothers and his family! They came up to our new house to see it and spend the night, and I cooked them fried chicken nuggets, butter potatoes, and honey biscuits, which they loved, and Michelle taught me how to use my iced-tea maker (she's the queen of making iced tea!) so I'm becoming more proficient! I've also grocery shopped by myself (well, with Jade) once this week, which is a first, and I've been successfully making meals for my family since we got a fridge! *pats self on back*

Blantant Advertising HereI also want to share about a great new product I've found! While I was sitting in the waiting room Friday waiting to get an MRI of my head, I spied an ad in YM magazine for ThermaCare heat wraps to relieve menstrual cramps. They stick on underneath your panties and sit against your abdomen and heat up with air contact for 8 hours of relief. I found some today at Smith's for $6.99 for a 3-pack, and I'm trying one out right now (I so need it!) I'm loving it so far! Apparently the website shows they have these for all sorts of pain.. joint pain, muscle pain, various shapes and sizes for different body parts. http://thermacare.com/index.jsp

And an FYI, if you post after you vote in teh polls, you get more gold. I have a lot of fun in the links and art sections. It's time-consuming, but it can be worth it sometimes, and it does raise the funds.

Okay, I have an important question. I see all these people with their ideal avies in their sigs and wishlists. I know/am sure that at least most of them use GAC. I just downloaded it and am having trouble with it. I cna't make more than one item show for an area (ie: if I put laurels on, I can't add angelic wings as well).
Any ideas/suggestions? Do I have to do all this by hand in PhotoShop?

Do I have to do all this by hand in PhotoShop? I think the way it works (on Gaia too) is that you can't wear two things for the same area (like head) anyway. So I think the avatar creator is reflective of what it would look like on here. I think that's what you're meaning, anyway. If not, correct me!

Oh, and for wishlists, you just have to save the item pictures (go to the marketplace to search for the item, then right click and save it) and then paste together a nice wishlist using an image program.

It was great for light cramps, but right now I'm doubled over with bad cramps, and the ThermaCare isn't enough. I need my Ibuprofen! gonk
