Firzen hesitated. "Kumi told you." He then said. "My name is Firzen." He sighed. "And i know your name from some place. And i think we both know where." Firzen stopped. "But if we don't, then maybe it's just me..." He turned around, wanting to walk away... ((Gotta go =S Cya! =D ))

Firzen stopped. Nailreef was a guardian after all. "Assignments?" He asked turning around. "Is that the newest fad you whimpshits got? To count your assignments!?" Firzen had raised his voice. He had never really liked other guardians. He was the only one of his kind as far as he knew. A demon guardian. "I probably got more than you prettyboy. And you know what?!" Firzen nearly yelled. Then he suddenly seemed to relax. "I lost count." He gazed at Nailreef. The dumbass had probably already opposed the rules and told Kumi that he was a guardian. Only the angels did that. Firzen himself had never done it... Except for once...

"Then you should know better then I that you'd have small, how do I describe it, feeling in your stomach that would, that would tell you somethings gone amiss with who your guarding. Right?" Nailreef kept was still calm, he wasn't up for having a shouting match this early in the day.

Firzen closed his eyes slightly. "I do. But i can't care the same way as you. And i won't." Firzen was much more calm, but his hand was shaking, showing Nailreef that he wasn't as comfortable as he should be. "I'm no angel Nailreef. I'm a demon. A creation of evil, opposite of you. And when the angels can't protect people that are criminal, because it would be unrightous, then i have to..." Firzen kept gazeing at Nailreef. "But still, i got an easier job than you." Firzen smiled. "Cus i won't have feelings to those i guard. I just make sure others does not interfere with their lives." Firzen's smile faded. "I've watch many of my assignments die, just like you, but i've never felt grief... I've never loved those i protected, because they die, and i don't." Firzen turned around. "If i began loving the one i guarded, it would defeat the purpose, and either Balder, Gabriel or God himself probably also told you the same thing... Loving is not allowed..." Firzen closed his eyes. He had made that mistake before. Humans just didn't live for more than eighty or ninety years, even when lucky...

" Your a little naive aren't you? I don't love her. it is my job to protect her, and do as she asks of me. That is all. She doesn't know that I'm an angel. I just a boarder under her roof. That what she'll easyly tell anyone. That all she knows," Nailreef hushed his voice so that Kumi's sister couldn't hear them, " Never once have I come clean with my 'client'. Kumi doesn't know this 'character's' age."

"How did you approach her?" Firzen suddenly asked. "Did you say: 'Hello, what is your name, let me be your humble servant for the rest of your life' or did you try to find another way?.." Firzen kept his back at Nailreef. "I'm not naive. I just see the truth..." Firzen smiled a bit. "You've ever heard of Gurnald, the loving angel?.." Firzen turned around, his smile disappearing. "Of course you have..." He then said, shaking his head looking at the floor. "What angel haven't..." Firzen turned up his head. "Loving the one he protected, he was rejected, and failed to protect her..." Firzen smiled sadly. "And he was the first to do so..." Firzen felt like his powers diappeared. "Nailreef?" He smiled, but his eyes looking very sad. He had stopped shaking. "Have you ever loved one of the humans you protected?" Firzen remembered the girl he himself had protected. He remembered her very clearly...

"No. For all my worth in that manner of love. I might as well be a demon. How I came to live here? If you ask my Mistress, she tell you this,' It was on a raining night. It was odd, he dancing in the rain, like he enjoyed it. But when it seemed that he was going to find a alley or cove to stay the night I invited him in. The he asked if he could stay in return he'd do as I ask.' For that is how it happen. When I asked she laugh a little but said yes. I may not love her, but I can sure act like I do." All of the word he said were seeming to push him farther and farther away from everyone else. " Now you see our mutual agreement."

"The one who does not love, has no soul..." Firzen smirked. "Matches angels and demons quite well..." he leaned against the door frame, picking up his cigs, and putting on in his mouth. He snapped his fingers, and the cig, which was now in the corner of his mouth was suddenly lit. "Do you know how demons live?" He shook his head. "I've never seen an angel in hell, but i've lived there... The constant heat, which is unbearable, suddenly turns into a stunning cold. Sulfuric clouds of acid everywhere, the heavy smog from Satan's minions, and the constant screams from tortured victims, as well as the the noise of fights everywhere..." Firzen smiled. "And it's dark as hell down there..." He looked at Nailreef. "When penetrating the concrete, and appearing on the surface of the 'Midrealm' it is like a human in paradise..." He closed his eyes. "But you must be completly of the opposite reaction?" He asked, smiling at Nailreef, blowing out a large cloud of smoke...

Nailreef was caught on one phrase," 'Dark as hell?' I would hope it be dark as Hell, in Hell. Why don't we take a walk. There we may be less Discrete about our conversation," Nailreef said as he gestured politely out the front door.

Firzen grinned slightly. "Sorry... Still tired..." He smiled. "Yea... Of course..." Firzen walked downstairs. "And we spare Kumi and her sister from cigarette smoke." Firzen walked outside. The sun was shining quite strong, and Firzen turned on a new cigarette, replacing the old one which had burned out...

Firzen frowned, tempoarily removing the cigarette from his mouth. "Wha?" He asked, looking a bit tired. He didn't really understand the question. He blew a large cloud of smoke into the air, before putting the cig into the corner of his mouth again. "Well, when they are drunk with someone they like?" He smiled, still not understanding the question...

"It is the exit terminal at a airport. All the anger, mistrust and all thats bad, just disappears. When I'm not on duty I hang out there. I saw a couple, what the husband didn't know was that while his wife was away she cheated on him. Twice. Heck, her guardian didn't know that, but that didn't matter because they were so happy to see each other," Nailreef sort of smiled as he talked," With that said, my answer would still be yes."

Firzen smiled. "We should really hang out some time..." He said silently. "Seriously, it could be cool knowing how an angel spent his days off." Firzen smirked. "Eventhough we have none..." He added shortly, grinning... ((Gotta go. Cya around! =D ))
