"Alright let's do it!"Tyson yelled as he leapt to the side in a way that brought him even closer to the clone as Aca attempted to keep in line with Tyson by doing the same. Aca was much luckier than Tyson narrowly escaping the arrows as Tyson got hit but quickly shook of the shook and ignored the pain to complete the plan. "******** This. Now, combo 4!"Tyson uttered the words while closing the last bit of distance before dropping low and attempting to kick her into the air as Aca came over using Tyson as a launch pad to go higher and bite the clone.

Zanzu gave a little grunt back to the bird, "You'd like that wouldn't you, unfortunately for you your warden isn't that stupid, Theres no telling what will happen if I take off that seal, I could very well release you from my body and kill myself in the process. Besides, its fun watching you struggle to get at me when I piss you off, at the very least if I remove the seal I can't stand back and watch this." Zanzu sat on the ground and looked intently on the seal which seemed to be holding the two bars together, wondering just exactly what would happen if he did remove it. It really is tempting...I want to know what happens if I do it...but if I do it and it ends up killing me or letting the bird gain full control over my body then I definitely lose...but...Something cool might happen, and that would be pretty awesome. Hmmmm.

Crap, should I pull back? This is so pissing me off, my allies are in danger and I can only go so far to help. Heh, gramps would say Anger is only one letter away from danger if you really want to complete the task don't lose yourself. Or something just as ridiculous, but he wouldn't quit if it was him. I have to keep going too. Akira continued to pour his chakra into the hand reader. He was steadily increasing the pace he did so throwing away all caution to his lack of oxygen.
((Hee I'm giddy I started writing what Akira did for the past 2 years in word out of boredom it's not bad))

The meter spiked again on the blue side as you put your all into it...but the red side still did not an inch. Shortly after this burst your limit was reached and the decline began once more, but more quickly this time.
However, time is not on your side as the last of your air bubbles out of your mouth and you can feel your vision already starting to blur!
((I'm expecting a story that' a lot like Miroku's for some reason xp ))

"A good strategy, but reckless to use when you are injured." Her right foot comes out and trips you just before Aca hops up on you. She then says, "You body could not have supported the weight of your companion. Had you completed that maneuver you would have completely torn your thigh tendon open." She states then looks at the injury on your leg from the arrow barrage. "It would have taken you 4 months to recover and in that time, Akira would have perished."

Karas laughed more from behind the fence, "Kukuku... Very well then, I will fight you at your own level. Gaki."
The obsidian chakra of the Biju slowly leaks out from behind the fence and forms into a lake of energy in front of you. The lake then slowly begins to condense upon itself then slowly bubbles upwards.
After a few moments the chakra is about as tall as you then its shape contorts until you see a mirror image of yourself appear but with a black/purple color scheme.
Karas-Zanzu then grins at you and says, "Prepare yourself, Gaki." As a pair of feathery wings extend from his back and it floats in the air as its sheer chakra power shakes the entire chamber.

Ohhhh...thats a nifty trick, let's see if he's really telling the truth. Zanzu stood up and took off his cloak and weighted clothing tossing them off to the side quickly as he tried to keep his balance in the shaking chamber. I need to stop this messing around...I shouldn't have lost that bad to Mana earlier, and this is something I can afford to lose!
"Amusing Karas, I'll take that challenge!" Zanzu grinned at the clone of chakra before him, focusing completely on the task at hand as he prepared himself for battle.

Taking that as a hint he pushed himself onto his feet as he rushed off in the direction of the lake, Aca closely following. Tara would chew his a** out later for ruining the brand new hakama pants she had bought him but he didn't have time to think about that he had a teammate to save. "Damn it, this really is the worst team to be put on." Was all he said as he stopped by the lake looking for Akira through the water he had to jump through at the right point or it would take too long to reach him.

Hey, I remember this feeling it's like when that spear hit. Or that fight last year. All too similar...
I'd like to just close my eyes for a moment. I know I was being rash, but being near that idiot has that affect on me. I should stop and think, and yet I don't regret any of it, because that's right. I REFUSE TO DIE HERE!
Akira's body wasn't completely reactive yet he managed to hold his hand in place. His chakra reserves all but drained he tried to pull out any scrapes of chakra that he could to put into the machine. No good huh, oh well can't blame a guy for trying. I would have liked to play for a bit longer though. Closing his eyes Akira drifted into sleep beneath the lake.

Natsumi still rested near podium as she looked over her shoulder, "I told Tsunade-sama this scenario was the most likely outcome." She reached into her pocket and pulled out a pair of identical looking tags with a strange symbol in the center.

As you continued to expel your Chakra you felt the final drops leave your body as your consciousness floated upward. However in this dream-like state you started to feel warm as if while you were in death's cold embrace something else was there wrapping its presence around you. Then you saw a bright light....

As you stood at the water's edge you lost track of Akira's scent as he dove into the water. The surface all seemed the same and showed no unusual signs to give away his currently location.
Suddenly you could hear the sound of a bow string *twang* as Clone Natsumi let loose an arrow from the treeline aimed at your heart!
To the rescue!
Speed + 8-sided Dice = Total Number of Successes for Aca's rescue
9 or more Successes needed for Aca to catch the arrow
10 or more Successes allows Aca to rescue and Tyson to hop into the water

As the shaking stops you find Karas-Zanzu floating some 50 feet above you. He pulls his right hand back next to his face, with his fingers bent like talons and grins at you. He shoots his hand forward and you see it grow and distort until it IS a very large talons coming down to crush you, while his arm also stretches so he can hit you from above.
"You've wasted my power up to this point, Gaki. I will crush your spirit and subjugate your body!"
Objective: The King and the Horse: Stage 1
Speed + 8-sided Dice = Total Number of Successes to Dodge
9 successes or less and you are grabbed/smashed into the ground
10 or more successes needed to dodge
12 or more successes needed to dodge & start to run up the arm towards Karas-Zanzu

"For ******** sakes... " Tyson muttered as for once in a long time he had his eyes closed and was praying the god damn clone would miss, he couldn't go out yet he had a teammate to save since the other had been knocked out easily a while back. Aca was now going as fast as his little body could go (since aparently he hasn't grown in two years), he had to stop that arrow or he'd probably be back in the alleys looking for scraps if he didn't. When in range Aca jumped to catch the arrow in his mouth. Aca clamped down and deflected it with skill the pup didn't normally have. Tyson turned to see the scene, "Holy s**t, thank you Kami, thank you Aca your getting all the steak you can eat later." Tyson said before turning around taking a deep breath and diving into the lake.

Zanzu waited until just before the claw hit him then did a barrel roll to his right to get out of the way, just narrowly dodging the attack then rolling back to his feet quickly.
"Wasting your power? Your power is one which no good can come of...Your power causes nothing but trouble, But I shall thank you, you did save my life against those akatsuki bastards when i was impaled." Zanzu smiled a little and bowed before karas, keeping his eyes on the clone as he readied himself for the next attack. Thats pretty far away, I don't know if i could hit him easily with a kunai, my best bet is probably trying to run up the arm after he attacks...It'll be tricky but I don't think I've much of a choice right now...

You felt your resolve increase and you started moving further away from the light. Though as the small bit of light grows dimmer you think you hear the voice of a woman call out.

As you dive into the water the cold, murky depths float by you as you dive deeper and deeper, searching for your teammate. However after going down about 20 feet all you can see is that visibility slowly decreasing,but you press on. At 40 feet in the black depths you spot a small flickering red light just ahead that you swim for. Though the light seems to be quickly dimming by the time you get there you spot an unconscious Akira floating near a small case that is open.
The small Chakra reader next to it indicates that the blue and red side of the chart are both at full and the glass has been opened so that the keys can be taken.

"Gaki!!"
Karas-Zanzu's large talon tears out of the floor, leaving a large claw-shaped crater in the floor. The chakra-talen lifts back into the air then with a loud screech he sends it back down towards you to try and crush you once again!

Zanzu began to growl a little bit as the destructive talon began swinging its way at him a second time.
"GAKI GAKI GAKI!! Just shut the hell up already bakaaa!" Zanzu began shouting as he barely dodged the talon but not out of luck, instead out of total control over the situation which became apparent as he quickly gained a footing on the chakra limb and sprinted his way straight for the clone. "Yeahh! shoulda done a barrel roll you dumbass! I'll break those wings off of you and bring you down to the ground, lets see how you like that!"

The light faded completely and the next thing you know you feel the chill of the water that you're submerged under. Bubbles from your last bit of air rush from your lungs, up your throat and out your mouth and nose. Though through the cloud of air bubbles you think you see something coming towards you.

As you charge of the large chakra arm, you feel each of your steps vibrate on the uneasy concentration of pure chakra making it almost feel like you could fall through at any moment. However, it also provides you with a slight early warning, as you see a flow of chakra zip past you and appear in spots along the arm. You hear chakra spikes appear in the chakra concentrations behind you and up ahead a large spiked wall appears!
Objective: The King and the Horse: Stage 2
Speed + 8-sided Dice = Total Number of Successes to Evade
Roll a 1 and you are impaled by some of the spikes and sent back to the floor
8 succeesses and you jump off of the arm and back to the floor
9 or more successes need to leap over the wall and continue up the bicep
