He sneezed again and gave his father a pleading look. "But, it tastes really bad..." Garreth just stood there and listened, not really saying much. He didn't like the medicine either, but he got it when he was sick.

he put his hand on his shoulder and smiled at him. "you know, i hate the taste of it too. back in the day your mother had to make me take the stuff too but i'm glad she did. i would have gotten really sick if i didn't."

Cyan and Garreth just gave him a dull stare. What he said didn't change either one of their opinions about the medicine at all. Cyan then put his finger up to his mouth and made the gagging motion and sound and Garreth laughed at it.

he picked him up and carried him. "so what i mean is if i had to take it then so do you. and your a tough guy. you can take it."

Cyan went limp in his arms and let out a loud, angry growl. He was throwing a bit of a tantrum, but he was four and it happened. "No!" Garreth just followed them both in the house.

he just grinned and carried him over his shoulder and took him into the house. it was for his own good and looked around for mari.

Cyan wasn't happy at all and Garreth with just trying to tell him that it would be fine. Mari and Raine were in the kitchen and they were making some cookies for the kids to have after dinner. Mari looked up and seen Smash carrying Cyan over his shoulder and the child having a tantrum. "Oh no. What did he do now?" She put her hand on her hip and gave a small smile.

he put him down so that he stood in front of mari. "he's started sneezing again and he doesn't want his medicine"

Mari looked down at the boy and shook her head a bit. "Now, Cyan... You know you need it. Especially when you have enough problems breathing as it is." Cyan was still whining and stomped his foot. "It tastes bad!" Mari got down on her knees infront of him and whispered in his ear as if she was making a deal with him. Cyan listened, but still didn't seem too happy. "You're not lying..?" Mari stood up and went to get the medicine from on of the cabinets in the kitchen. "Not lying." She then shook the bottle and poured some into a spoon and held it up to his mouth. "Come on. If you don't, no deal." He gave a small glare and then reluctantly took the medicine. He gave a bitter look as he swallowed it and then stuck his tongue out. "Good boy." She picked him up and held him, giving him a hug.

She waited until Raine and Garreth were talking and looking away and snuck him a cookie. At that, Cyan stuffed it in his mouth and ate it, giving Mari a small grin to which she returned.

after cyan left he walk up to mari and grinned at her. "i see how you work. you're always the sneaky one."

She crossed her arms and looked up at him, grinning. "Kids run on the illegal system of bribing. You have to use it sometimes. Hell, you even run on it sometimes. I have to bribe you to get things done." As she was talking, she started to get all the cookies onto a plate and wrap them up until dinner was over.
