Hiya Dhar, Bestmom!
Walked miles today, and hiked one fairly challenging trail, so I'm fairly exhausted. But very content and relaxed.
Things seem to have been fairly quiet here in the old Town Square lately, at least when I've been on -- which is usually late at night.
Best -- how's the quitting smoking going? I've been sending you good energy.
:edit: apparently, "fairly" is my new favorite word. eek

That's great, DG. I'm thinking of having a good long walk tomorrow myself. I like that tired, relaxed feeling after a good workout/run heart

Hiya Ananda!
Well this is great! I have missed you folks. I don't have a whole lot to say, unless you want to hear about the day on Mackinac Island, but it's just good to hang with you again.

Oh! Hey DG, did you see my thread about my RP mule's profile and journal? Apparently talking to you got my creative juices going. xd

hi Ananda -- it is truly a beautiful place. We had perfect weather for it too. Not a cloud in the sky, low 70's. I'm so glad we took the time to do it.
I'll go look now... back soon.
:edit: you changed your sig... what's her name again?

Ananda -- never mind, I found it.
Wow! That's amazing. I love the background info in the profile, and as soon as I started reading the journal I wanted more, more, more!
Please let me know when you have the next journal entry ready!

designergrl Hiya Ananda! Well this is great! I have missed you folks. I don't have a whole lot to say, unless you want to hear about the day on Mackinac Island, but it's just good to hang with you again. Speaking for myself, I always want to hear, DG. ^ Continuing a chat we had the other day.. I've taken a thorough survey of Robin McKinley's books now and I can recommend to you and all listening , Deerskin, Beauty; a retelling of beauty and the beast, The Blue Sword and Hero and the Crown, and Spindle's End. Especially Deerskin and Beauty but avoid Sunshine (she switched genre momentarily from Fantasy to Gothic Horror ..vampires..and she's hasn't proven herself apt in that genre, to my taste, despite a Niel Gaiman thumbs up for it)
