*snickers, and walks into camp*
Me: I like oranges better. >.o Anyways, can I go challenge Roark? I want the badge.
*Turtwig walks in somewhat dazed and I chuckle*
Me: we spent all night at the museum and mining caves...

*SC snickers, motions for Turtwig to follow her, and runs after Brian*
Me:Turtwig will do well, though. smile
*She stops, looks at her pearl version sitting in her TADs, and mutters something about him being a pushover in Pearl Version, then runs along back towards the town*

*SC enters the building and looks at the arena. A man with a helmet light on comes up to greet her.*
???: Hello, you must be a new challenger. I'm Roark.
Me: Hello!
Roark: Before you can challenge me though, you must go through the other trainers in this gym. Good luck!
*He turns and walks away as my first challenger walks out*

“Round One goes to SC!” called the referee. SC shook hands with her defeated opponent, then recalled her weakened, but still hanging on abra.
“You did well, Abra,” she told it.
Her next opponent, another boy, came out onto the battlefield.
“Go, Onix!” he called, tossing the pokeball into the air. SC in turn tossed hers, and out came Shinx. The boy laughed.
“What’s that gonna do?” he asked, shrugging. “Onix, Rock Throw!”
Rock were hurled at Shinx, but it skillfully dodged all of them. SC smirked.
“Use Substitute!” Shinx took a third of its energy and made a Shinx dummy. Onix focused its attention on the doll.
“Onix, use Bind!” Onix picked up the plushie and successfully did nothing to Shinx.
“Now, While it’s distracted!” Use Ice Fang!” The real Shinx, who was playfully hiding behind Onix, suddenly bared its fangs. They turned a glittering blue, and Shinx jumped up, latching onto the spike on Onix’s head. Onix roared in pain and shook its head, Shinx grimly hanging on.
“Onix! Try a Dragonbreath attack!” Unsucesfully, Onix once again attacked the little Shinx dummy.
“Shinx, jump off and use a take down attack to the head!” said SC. The little cat jumped down, ran a little ways, turned, and charged straight into the back of Onix’s head. Onix once again roared in pain.
“Harden, Onix! Maybe you won’t faint!” said the boy. SC snorted.
“Shinx, finish it off with another Ice fang!” she called. The attack quickly made contact with the hardening Onix, and it crumpled to the ground in defeat.
Sadly the boy recalled his strongest pokemon, and sent out Geodude.
“Geodude, Rock Blast!” Rocks were thrown forcefully at the dummy. As the attack finished, the dummy vaporized.
“Shinx, Ice Fang!” SC hollered. The attack caught Geodude straight in the gut. Geodude flinched, but got back up.
“Use Rock Throw!” More Rocks caught Shinx unaware, and one bounced off the back of its head, making it fall over dazed.
“Come on, Shinx! Get back up and give it all you got with that Ice Fang!” SC pleaded. Shinx got up,shook its head, and charged at Geodude full force. It bit down hard, and Geodude fell over, defeated. Shinx, tired from all the attacking, fell over. SC and her opponent recalled both their pokemon.
"Round Two goes to SC! She will now proceed to the Gym Leader!" yelled the ref. SC grinned as Roark walked out onto the field.
"I'm glad to see you made it out here to battle me," he said, nodding approvingly. "But this is where your winning streak will end!"

*SC nods and pulls out three pokeballs*

*SC smirks as well as she throws a pokeball*
Go, Happiny!
*Happiny appears with a squeak, and looks up at the Onix*

Me: Happiny, Metronome.
*Happiny waves its tiny arms back in a pattern and chants its name*
