*Maggie laughs as well, shaking her head* 'Tis probably for the best that I only know this power, here. I ne'er like te say nay te Will, but heaven knows I'd ne'er explain where it all came from. We have te be careful enough with the few things we do have from elsewhere, there.

*Luke walks down the length of the bar.* Yeah, I bet you do.
*He lifts up his hand and the bottle cap goes into the air. He sends it towards Maggie, and motions for her to catch it.*

We've only a few small things, so I've managed te keep them hidden thus far, but ... *following Luke's prompting, Maggie reaches her hands out to catch the bottlecap. She looks down at the lettering on it and then back at Luke with a sheepish expression*
.. the last time I brought Bard with me te see Will, Agnes - she's the osteler's wife - and she found him there with us in her kitchen. Thank heaven Bard had thought ahead te dress like us, but e'en then .. *she lets out a noise between a nervous laugh and a sigh* She surely did have some questions.

*smirks, at least they had their clothes on, but Luke keeps this part to himself* *He nods to the beer cap* Here, put it out flat on your hand. *When she does so, Luke says* Yeah, just like that.

Oh hell yeah. You gotta lie about this place. Unless you want everyone around you thinking you're certifiable.
*Luke calls the beer cap forward and then he shoots it as hard as he can towards the front of the bar. The beer cap hits with a 'c***k'. It hits the floor. Luke walks over to where it's fallen on the floor. He calls the beer cap up to his hand.*
*Luke shakes his hand out and takes a deep breath. He takes a break for a second and continues to Maggie* You think I tell the people at my college that I come to a bar outside time? Where I see angels and fairies and chicks from the future? Oh, and by the way, when I'm there, I can move things with my mind. *shakes his head, smiling just a little.* They'd think I was bug-nuts.

*Luke's terminology is a bit confusing, but Maggie gets the idea* I daresay we're all thought a wee bit mad as it is, changing moods so suddenly, forgetting things right in the midst of doing them . . .

*huffs a breath and nods* Yeah, you're not kidding. *looks up, clears his throat self-consciously* But... you get better at talking your way out of that, too.
*Luke isn't about to let that sit there. He nods to Maggie and the baseball.* You ready to bring in something else? Or do you still need a break?

*Luke grins.* All right. *claps his hands as he leans them on the bar* The next thing I need you to bring in is a baseball cap... *Luke describes it to her, detailing the colors and the team logo.*
*He takes out a napkin and a pen, and draws a "P" on it.* Tell me if this is too hard. I don't want you ending up like when we brought in the stretcher.

*Maggie shakes her head, assuring him* I only have trouble with very large things, with smaller things I dinna tire much anymore.
*She takes a moment to look at the letter, then closes her eyes, focusing on his description in her mind. It takes her a few minutes, but then she holds out her hands as a blue cap with a red brim begins to flicker into existance between them*
