But you have to admit, he looks good for his age~ Huehuehue Perhaps, but I admit nothing! NOTHING! Behold, as Chase recites words and sentences he wouldn't even know! Luckily for him, Chase speaks in basic, so it's easy to pick up! Pssh, He speaks everything >:U Only if I tell you what she just said :^D But you'd tell me what she said because otherwise it wouldn't be a very fun rp :U Also, they're just inside the entrance of the inn. :U I don't think the two are inherently related, since Chase's language is not widely known, and only used by her species. Unless he spoke in extended length with her family (who keeps the language out of tradition), he'd be very hard-pressed to recite something so unintelligible. That's only standard, however, since basic has comparable human words. "Xivth" is standard since it can't be compared to a single human word, but everything else she said was entirely in basic. "Tere" meaning "stop" and such. Yeah, I noticed. Chase is easily distracted by ceilings and missed everything around her. EDIT: Her sentences were a combination of basic and standard, and her intonation was the female form of most words, excluding Xkria, which is the male version of the word, and by default, a more aggressive intoning. She basically told Bahamut to stop forcing her to go where she doesn't want to. Her second sentence was much more complex since it has more standard than basic in it. If you translate it to English, it wouldn't make sense because the words she used have no comparable counterpart. Aihna is basic which means "Right" whereas "Aihne" means "Wrong." She basically asked him "There's no point for me to be here, so I can leave, right?" if you're trying to make what she said make sense, but her speech is more indicative of feeling rather than words, which is why she used "Xivth" which indicates frustration.

If his translation magic only strings words together by meaning then he wouldn't understand her sentence anyway, though, since he'd just get "This means frustration, this means apprehension, this means etc."
