Dear God... I have the worst timing ever, it seems. After being stuck in the guild for the past three years, I started venturing out into GCD last week. Which is also when *** started targeting Gaia as a whole, and GCD in particular. Then I was sued.  And now, I wake up to a profile comment notifying me that my underwear are on display in some guy's journal? http://www.gaiaonline.com/journal/?u=2146002Apparently I've still got it, but... Nothing like getting out of the shower just in time for the fire alarm to go off because somebody burnt their Bagel Bites. gonk Well, except maybe still being in the shower and living on the floor on which the burning took place. Poor Carey.

so today it isn't my birthday, but half a dozen strangers asked me if it was, because i was carrying around a beach pail (complete with wee plastic shovel and inflatable beach ball) with a "happy birthday" balloon tied to the handle. i think i stole Pasta's birthday.
for the record, my friends at work got me the bucket and filled it with hilarious and/or tasty presents, and it's only a week and a half late because one friend was on vacation all last week, and then i was out monday and tuesday this week, so today was actually the first time we were both there since my birthday. so not late at all REALLY.

I was over at my friend Jordan's house the other day and I showed him my website and he said that he doesn't my style and that he liked my art better back when I drew anime.
I've spent the last five years trying to develop my own style, and I'm really happy with how I draw. So it kind of hurt to hear that one of my friends who inspired me in the first place doesn't even appreciate my individual style and would prefer my work to be more generic. ):
