He hurries after.

There's the smell of burning flesh. Some of the runes start to blacken and close. Richard tries to push away, though the movement is weak since his arms are not doing so good right now.

"Hey! What's going on!" She hurries into the room and runs over, an arm shooting forward to shove Nat away from Richard.
Nat tumbles back and is caught by List before he hits the ground. He rights himself. "Rude."

Richard bends forward, sobbing as he clutches at his arms.
Stephen draws his gun but knows not what to do.

Angie backs away and puts a hand on Richard, snarling. "What did you do to him?"
Nat frowns. "I think we were making progress."

Richard slowly moves his hands away from his arms then sobs again as some of the flesh rips away, leaving his hands covered in blood and burnt flesh.
Stephen's eyes widen. "What should we get for that?"

"Richard.. This isn't progress! What did you do? Stephen, make sure he doesn't touch Richard." She turns to hurry out.
"I told him we were going to try something. I didn't say it wouldn't hurt." He dusts his sleeve off.

Richard finally speaks. "What the hell did you do to me?"
Stephen moves to stand by Richard and eyes Nat.

"I attempted to draw magic out." He steps forward to examine Richard's arms.

The good news is that most of the runs seem to be gone. The bad is that the spell seems to have moved on to taking bits of his arms.
"Back, you." Stephen waves the gun at Nat.

Nat frowns at Stephen and squints at the arms. He nods. "I think that did it. Whatever's left can't be too much of an issue."

List is looking paler than usual. He sidles towards the nearest window.
Angie returns with a handful of damp cloths. She hurries over to cover his arms with them.
