And Malik was off to make peace maker. He sighed and shook his head...when was Malik going to learn to just leave her alone...he'd just have to get used to it, but Malik did hold to the belief that everyone in his House deserved personal attention when they got into a fit. Good trait, but him and Zahara simply did not mix or communicate well.
But he was rigth about Zykariel and Sevilin duely turned his attention to the boy as he carted him upstairs, petting at him still so that he would calm down. "Mom is just upset right now...they want her to help them do something, but she doesn't want to do it. It may be better if she does, but at the same time....well it's her choice in a sense."
Looked like he was winning this time...and then not so much as the boy seemed to have a break down once more. Well, not good. Setting the boy down, he crouched in front of him and took hold of the boys little face in his hands, gently making sure the child was holding eyes with him. Zahara was either upset...or hurt. None of which were appealing. "Look at me, I'm going to teach you how to make it stop. You have to think of something else...something..." hm...what was he looking for..."Something happy that makes you smile. And then you focus on it. That will make it stop hurting."
"We just had a tiff, that's all."
"When me and Zykariel have one, you tell us that we have to work it out before we can do anything else. How come you didn't do that?"
Children...had to love how they were so preceptive like that and the 'because I'm a grown up' answer probably wouldn't fly. "Because some arguments are harder than that to solve. This isn't about a toy or a cookie, or what story we're going to read or if we're skipping out on our studies or not."
"What's it about?"
Always with the questions she didn't want to answer, but couldn't realy deny her the answer of. "Girl things." No need to get the boys hopes up with possible siblings after all. "But that's okay...sometimes you have to agree to disagree with someone and tackle things from a new angle."
"I think we should agree to disagree that I should have a cookie before dinner."
Piper gave a laugh at the innocent statement by the child whom comprehended the saying and duely found a use for it. "You're not that good of a manipulator you know. I'm still your mother."

Faete was having none of it thought. He wasn't stupid. He snapped at Ramoth and pawed at Malik then just disappeared. With a little bit of maneuvering and nudging he managed to get Zahara's limp form up and onto his back and then he vanished again, popping back up in the front yard and standing there. He snorted loudly and glared at Ramoth then Malik. 'If you touch her I'll kill you. Go get Sevilin.'
Zykariel looked up at his father, tears once again brimming in his violet eyes and spilling over onto his cheeks. He didn't like the feeling in his head one bit. He thought of his parents snuggled together in bed and him plopping in the middle of them with Rawr and how they'd been talking to him and then somehow a tickle fight had started and he'd lost. Horribly. But he'd giggled so much it was okay.
But then he frowned, "It's gone..." But not in a good way. It hadn't lessened like pain usually did, just cut off and before he'd even really started to think of anything. "Daddy...I'm scared."

And the boy wasn't getting any better...because it being gone but him being scared at the same time didn't bode well at all. It just didn't. Which meant she probably got herself into some trouble. "Right, I'm going to go make it all better." Which meant her was going to go find Zahara. Scooping up the child he carried him to the kitchen and stepped over to Piper. "Can you watch him for me a moment...I need to go find Zahara."
Oh yeah, that made her feel better about things. She had pissed off Zahara so bad she had gone out somewhere. Usually when she went out and angry then bad things happen. Shifting Malikhai to one side of her lap, she held out her hands as Sevilin passed over the child and settled him in her lap with his own son. "I think that's a good idea. We'll be fine."
A nod at that and he turned on his heel, walking out of the kitchen and heading for the door. Where the hell was he going to start looking. Though quite apparently, he didn't have to look far. There was Faete, Zahara...with blood...and then there was Malik and Ramoth. A glare sent at those two as he stalked over to Faete. "What did you two get into now about? You're not supposed to be doing causing bodily harm, remember?" Sliding her off of Faete and into his arms, carrying her inside.
Momentarily he laid her down on the floor for the moment, half propped up bu his knee and then a few runes to her person, closing up her head wound and also giving a jolt to her system somewhat to hopefully bring her back to awareness. "Zahara, open your eyes."

Kimmuriel sat on the parapet of the wall, and talked casually to the Breakers next to him. "Then I told the God of War, 'If your so warlike, why do you wear a dress.' and he was all like, 'It isn't a dress, its a toga.' And I was all like, 'Togas are very warlike clothes, don't cha think?' To which he said, 'You subservient son of a drone maggot.' What the hell is a drone maggot? But I digress, 'Yeah, my mom did have problems.' To which he laughed. The gods are messed up people, I tell you." The breakers laughed, as though they were reminiscing with a long lost trusted friend.
"What about those Nymphs. I swear upon my dead mother's head, they have social problems. Well, If I was created to be the play things of the gods, I probably would have the social skills of a three year old child. I guess, when it comes down to it, I really only miss my Angels." He smiled, to which all the ogres responded with an 'Awww' gesture. "They had no will of their own, such good servants. They did everything and anything you told them to, without fail. Unless, it was beyond their power. But, only an idiot tells weak minions to do something they can't do, unless you are bored..." Kimmuriel laughed, he called himself an idiot. The ogres laughed too, though they probably didn't know why. Sometimes, the good mood of your best friends dominates your emotions.
"So, Do you want to hear about how I got myself expelled from [Heaven]?" the ogres nodded obediently, "Well, I was talking with [Alpha Omega] and of course, as usual, he was talking to himself by using all of the words I would say in response to his answers to my questions, and I realized, 'This really is not the place for me. Its peaceful, its happy, its full regulations which cannot be broken... You have no idea how restrictive being a god can be... I can't do anything without using a mediator, I can bestow powers without a two-thirds consent from the assembly of the divine, I can't blow up planes of existence, I cant send pestilence upon the enemies of my followers, I can alter the physical form of my followers at will... Not to mention I was a minor-divinity, I only had several trillion followers over the planar scale, so I couldn't do anything really cool like make my own plane. I got to spend most of my time with the big-dudes. [Kitsune] loved me because I was interesting to watch here, [Torm] wanted to kill me because I made him look silly while I was warmongering here, [Athena] and [Fyonne] played with my hair. I guess braiding each other's hair is the only interesting thing to do when you are omnipotent... Since, the last thing [Alpha Omega] wanted anyone to do was threaten the balance of the multi-verse by killing each other needlessly. He'd rather us go to places like Norrath and make up fake divinities... Funny story really." The ogres listened intently, though most of this was incomprehensible to them. They nodded and accepted the drow's every word.
"So, I got bored. Ao-i-boy knew this, and offered me an escape, because he knew that I would rather unmake the universes than live a boring peaceful life, funny story, because I was bored I got Lloth killed, anyway, back on track, Ao-i-boy knew that I wanted out, so he said 'Find a replacement, and I'll let you leave.' If I remember correctly, those were his first words to me... Anyway, I searched quickly for a good replacement, and found one on Toril, and told Aoi. He said that I could bestow all my power into her, so I did. She rose into [Heaven] as the new Lady Lloth, and I was able to come back here, where She said that since I made her the new Lloth, she would bless me, with two-thirds consent, with a special gift. In exchange she had to agree to let some other person be blessed by [The High Elf], but here I am. Her blessing gave me a few new toys too. They are awesome, but overall, I'm not much physically different than I was when I left. I guess, my time in heaven has made me mature a-little bit, but since I am hanging around here..." He paused, "That might be debatable." The ogres didn't know where they stood on that issue, they just couldn't figure out which answer would make them better loved by the drow.
"I know kinda what was happening here while I was gone. To be honest, I'm not sure I care, but when I went to go and say hello to Meilikki yesterday, it turns out she was murdered a little while ago. Right, I came here to ask Malik if he knew who killed her... Why am I talking to you again, oh, right, you wanted me to catch up with you. Since, we are all good friends here." The drow smiled evilly. No one disagreed with that view.
"Like [The Three Fates] used to say, 'Kimmuriel, you are a nut.' Hey... They were making fun of me..."He laughed out loud like he did when he meet [The Three Fates]. "I've never been so humbled in my life as when I walked amongst [The Ancients] and [Alpha Omega]."

The jolt went coursing through her system and caused her body to shake slightly before her eyelids fluttered and she moaned. Her head was throbbing and her throat felt dry, every part of her body aching. She moaned again and used her hands to push herself into a more sitting position, glancing down at her body. Her clothes were torn and bloody from her fall and mad flight across the Underdark and she just knew she looked like hell. She reached up and touched her head, then looked at her hand which was still bloody but a quick check told her it was dried. "Sevilin...where's Kariel?"
He didn't much want to be given to Piper, wanting to be with his father right now because of how he felt. He started to cry a little harder as his father left and buried his face in Piper's chest, his little body trembling. "Something's wrong..."

He blinked at his friend, the happy going away all the more. Watching him cry he contemplated a moment and then scooted closer to his friend, wrapping him in a hug, because well hugs had a tendency to help things now didn't they? "The grown ups will make it better." Looking up to mommy, "Right?"
Piper sighed...and now the child was upset and it was her fault to. Wow this had really blown up in her face...it wasn't fair. First she'd denied of things and now things go downhill from here. Maybe this was one of those times she should quit while she was ahead. Wrapping her own arms around the boys in her lap she hugged them both and pet lightly at Zykariel's hair while answering her son's question. "Right...don't worry Zykariel, whatever is wrong we're going to make it all better again, okay?"
"Zykariel is with Piper. Care to inform me of present circumstances that pretain to your person?" Slipping his arms around her back and under her knees, picking her up once more and moving to set her in a chair so that she was more comfortable, as he went to checking for various other injuries on her.

She leaned her head back in the chair and sighed, "After I left, I intended to get Faete and go home but he bit me because I was too forceful and I think I hurt him. I yelled at him, too, then just started to walk. I was so angry and hurt and confused and I ended up in a tree by the river. Malik showed up and started talking to me." She hissed and jerked at his forays brought out pain and then settled once again. "I got irritated and snapped at him and he cut down the tree and threatened me with everything he could think of. I fell, must have smacked my head against a rock and I called Faete and that's the last I remember. The world didn't feel right and I think I threw up somewhere..."
He nodded miserably and hugged his friend tightly. He knew exactly what it felt like to feel icky things in his head. "How come she was so upset? She yelled at me and she only does that when she's really mad." A glance up to Piper. "Did she fight someone again?"

"When will Malik Learn that threatening people so rigorously is not an effective policy for controlling minions..." Kimmuriel said calmly from a nearby wall. "Heard about the commotion, and since my favourite female drow was hurt, I could not help but stick my nose in it." He tossed a vial to Sevilin. "She's had some of that before."

Few runes to things he found. But an odd look at her. "You were in a tree..." Okay...whatever. He need not just question somethings. Thus he merely listening as she continued on, giving an annoyed look when Malik was brought into the picture. Okay...so had hadn't directly hurt her but he did the action that intended to. But let us contain ourselves for the moment. An irritated sigh from him. "Well first things first we-"
Pausing mid sentence at the familiar voice that he wasn't so fond of. Happened when people tried to kill you. Standing up from he knelt position he turned to said voice. "Surprise surprise, you're alive." Did not like the sentiment to Zahara and he merely caught the vial that was thrown in his direction, holding it in closed hand. Like he was going to give her something of this sorts.
Piper sighed, running her hands through the child's hair trying to keep him calm on some level...though she had the feeling that the child was not going to be happy with her once she told him the truth. "She's upset because we had a fight. I'm sorry that she yelled at you because I said some things that made her angry."

Kimmuriel smirked, "Who could possibly kill me if you could not." He replied without missing a beat. "That really is a healing potion. Trust me or not, Zahara has already consumed one. If I really wanted to kill her, I am not the sort to resort to such boring things as poisoning my opponent. You should know that better than most." Most being already dead.
"Right now, it is better for me for her to be well. If you do not believe that, that is your decision. But, it is rather strange that a husband would not do everything in his power to ensure the quick and rapid improvement of his significant other... Then again, we are drow." Kimmuriel's smirk vanished, "Least we be cursed by Corellon to forever live in misery for the treachery of our ancestor." Kimmuriel still liked the sound of his own voice.
"Why are you not concerned with my presence inside this fortress? Has it become so easy for anyone to enter that unwelcome guests such as myself are a common sight? Albeit, I am quite gracious of your concern for my well being."

"It seemed like a good idea at the time," she said defensively by that look. She leaned back once again, closing her eyes for a moment as he went about healing her with runes. "Don't do too much, you're still technically on restriction." Her hands really needed her attention. She lifted her hand and lightly ran her fingers over the fang marks and torn skin before using her magic to heal them. She'd have a discussion with Faete later, most likely involving sugar and groveling. Blinking, she glanced up and shook her head. "Kimmuriel? What are you doing here?" Head was still throbbing so she laid it back against the seat once again. "If you want to give it to me, it's alright."
"You two aren't supposed to fight anymore, Daddy said so." A shake of his head and he wrapped his arms around the older elf who was as much like a mother to him as his own. "It's okay, miss Piper. Sometimes Mommy doesn't understand things and she gets upset and sometimes she doesn't like being told things."

Kimmuriel smiled softly at Zahara, "There are so many reasons, I do not know where to begin. First off, I do owe you an apology." He straighted up, bowed his head and said, "I apologize."
Then he straightened up again, "Secondly, I had a few stunning revaluations recently (for a seven hundred year old elf), and realized just how important you are to my life."
"Thirdly, I need to find out who killed Meilikki." He paused, "All other reasons are not trivial, but there is no need to rush things."

He shrugged at Kimmuriel, holding out the potion to Zahara to take as she wanted. For some reason, despite the attempt at Kimmuriel trying to kill them and such she felt no malice to him." Rather strange that he thought it was best that she was well...made him wonder. "I do do anything in my power...you're presumptuous that I don't." Same old Kimmuriel hm?
"Or maybe I'm smart enough that you are the kind to find your way into any place in any form you can, just to prove the point that you can indeed. Kinda rolled his eyes at the Corellon part as well. Turning another look to Zahara for a moment.
She sighed and pet at his hair aagin. "I know we're not supposed to fight anymore...but they happen from time to time and it just can't be helped. Everyone fights." Fact of life and it wasn't a fun one, but one none the less. At least the little elf hadn't reacted the way she thought he would. "That indeed would be the issue."

"Sevilin is not the type to allow what he wants to disappear in front of him." Kimmuriel replied to Sevilin's statement, "Presumptuous is ignorance, ignorance is death. Then again, I did use a childish argument."
"To tell you the truth, I was allowed in by the guards. They seemed very keen on the idea." He could not resist using his devilish smile of 'I know something you don't know'. But, that faded quicker than normal. A programed reaction which was overridden by conscious effort.

She reached forward and took the potion, glancing at Kimmuriel. He had no reason to poison her, right? Leaning back against the chair once again, she glanced down at her pants and frowned. Ripped. "Tailor's going to kill me..." She needed to retie her top but not with Kimmuriel in the room, unless she could do it quickly. "That's a very taboo subject around her Kimmuriel. Piper took that loss hard." She tilted her head. "I'm important?" Then a frown, sensing a trap. "Why?"
"I know. Even Khai and I fight sometimes and it's not fun but Rawr makes things better." Rawr had refereed more than one fight between the boys. No one knew how but he did it. "You two still have to say you're sorry and make up though. That's very important."
