Hey. I'm right there with you. Christ, Princess. If not for folks like us just trying to do what needs to be done, who the ******** hell WOULD?
I'm just trying to point out that making certain that what you're making certain gets done is actually the RIGHT thing to do to begin with. I know what its like to fight for something with your heart and soul just to find out that you've been lied to.

Mm. Why do you go through with it?

::Sato stops to think for a moment::
I suppose that at the end of the day I'd rather take the chance of fighting the wrong fight than becoming a victim who stood by in the right one.

You'd rather be wrong, and alive, then right and dead?
That makes sense to some people...
:::she decided to keep her mouth shut though. That was the philosohpy of the Tropos. Dead wrong about life, but alive non-the less. And Terra? They're living it up because the party will be over soon:::

::Sato shakes her head again::
I'd rather be fighting the GOOD fight. But I learned pretty early that there really isn't a good fight. Just two sides to a bad one. In the end all I can really do is try to keep my friends alive.

:::Kara raised her glass:::
Amen, sista... :::And with a sip, she put it back down and decided that she didn't want to think about it anymore.
I'm getting tired of the politics. Tell me something new, hm?

Ahh... that's Maggie. I think that's who you mean anyway. About this tall, freckles? Her name is Maggie. She tends not to like women as.. uhm boisterous as you and I.

Ah well... :::Shrugging. She thought about what was waiting for her back home. A good story and some good company. Why not?:::
:::She walked over to the wrack, picked up her key, and left the Brink to go back home:::

*enter Luana*
Luana faded in, seated at a table. She was back in her normal clothing down to the layer of chalk dust, but with one two obvious exceptions. There was a large bandage on her cheek and her arm was in a sling.

**Enter Luke**
*Luke appears in the Brink, sitting down and leaning forward at one of the tables.* How do you say it again? No say it again. I gotta learn this--
*He pauses as he realizes where he is. He was appearing in the Brink again... This was the second time in the last couple weeks. Luke sighs. Well, while he was here...*
*He goes up to the bar and uncaps a beer.*

Felicity fades in at a table, a well-worn carpetbag in her lap as she looks over a small book in her hand. She frowns slightly and puts the book in her bag, standing up and finally realizing where she is after a moment of confusion.
"Wonderful..." Of course, it would be the Brink. She was just beginning to hope that maybe it had forgotten about her (if it was capable of forgetting, of course. She still had no idea).
She sighs and sits down again, then notices Luke at the bar and nods a hello. "Evening... Lucas, isn't it?"

*smiles* Hey. Yeah. But I only get called that when I'm in trouble. Most people call me Luke.
*squints at her a little* And you're ... *Felicia... Freida... shakes his head* I'm sorry. I forgot your name. It's been awhile since the last time I saw you.

"Felicity," she says, "and it's been a while since I was last here...." She glances around the room to see if anything's changed. It doesn't seem like anything has, that she can remember.
She looks toward the door for a second, wondering if she should leave soon. There are things to do back in 1887, but since it seems she'll be sent back to the same moment anyway, it couldn't hurt to stay here for a while.
She looks back at Luke. "Anything happen here while I was gone?"
