:::Kara fades in abruptly, she is laughing out loud, seated with her knees out to one side of her. One hand is on the ground propping her up, the other is holding a metal goblet-looking thing. Sheer silks flow from off her shoulders, and a similar fabric is wrapped around her torso. Her jade jewerly embeleshing spots here and there. She doesn't yet notice where she is, as she waits for whoever was telling the story to continue with the next punchline:::

::Sato starts at the sudden laughter and turns to see Kara. My, now THIS was certainly a pleasant surprise. Sato shoots up a hand in greeting as she pushes back in her chair, teetering on the back two legs::

Not nearly as good as I look, I assure you. Definately not as good as you're doing, obviously. I went and did something kinda stupid, and now I have to figure out a way to get out of it.

Indeed. I've been doing the usual. People have calmed down a little bit, and things have been quiet for a while in Terra. Thank Luca though, I was getting exhausted.

Well, we got called to the briefing for the newest set of ten-F's into the hotzone. The flight commander adopted this inane idea of jumpit right into the EZO by two point, and I pointed out that not only was it stupid, but the enemy would be waiting for us TAC ready. He asked if I had a better plan and I... being an idiot said that I did. Anyway, he gave us 0020 break so that I could get a RBR prepped to present. Only I have no ******** plan. So.. yeah. I kinda ******** myself hard with that one.

Yeah, it's hard not to open your mouth in a case like that. Why don't you take the commander's idea, change what you don't like about it and call it your own? I mean, even if you have to make up some s**t, at least you'll look like you had something. If it turns out to be a bad idea anyway, then you won't be in any more hot water then he is, at least.

Boobs AND brains. No wonder you're royalty. Its a good idea, but there's a tiny problem. That is... There isn't a single thing about his plan that I like... It pretty well amounts to taking a small force and shoving them directly in the enemy's face while shouting "HEY! HERE WE ARE!!!" You're right though. I need to start with what's the MOST wrong about the plan... And that's rushing them head on.

Well, then maybe you shouldn't be attacking at all.
Not that I know much about it. We haven't had a battle in almost a decade now, and back then I was way too little to have my opinion asked for...
That and I'd hate to think that I had a part to play in the colony wars...

.... a stockpile of supplies vital to their continued operations in that sector. Holy ******** hell, its a classic bait and switch. Send a force to engage them in a skirmish, then have units sneak behind and destroy the suppy line. Granted it'll be more complex than that, but all the same...
