Cora was interupted from working on the nueral pattern by Selurnis' male friend...even with his hands around her throat, she was quite alright, and was able to speak quite clearly.
Selurnis has no tolerance for this substance apparently, she will be perfectly fine if you allow me to administer nausia. Please release me.

He could see that even his grip wasn't doing anything... he had lost even his strength. He zoned out, too shocked and disgusted with the fact that he could no longer do anything for his friend. He let his hands fall at his side and dropped his head, staring down at the floor.
"Fix her..." he said in a commanding tone, but paused and added hoarsely, "...please."

Serenis :::Cora punched the last sequence in, and soon a seemless hindge opened on her cuff. Out came a very small electrode (looking like a stubby radio antenna would) She gently placed it on Selurnis' right temple, and pressed the trigger button...then waited to see what happened:::

Almost as soon as the electric pulse touched her temple, she shot up and started vomiting violently. ((Non-human race. Their brain waves are on a different frequency.)) She groaned and whimpered in discomfort and kept coughing up what she'd drank just a minute before.

Hm...I did not expect the impulse to be that strong. It is a good thing I decided not to use the full strength preprogrammed criminal nausia incapacitator I have handy.

I am truly sorry. I thought that beings before my time all partook in alcoholic consumption....that and I failed to explain that one is supposed to sip the wine.

"I'm sorry. This... this mess..." she whimpered, having never met with such discomfort before. At least, not that she remembers.

"Sorry..." she mumbled, wiping herself. "What... can I do anything to help?" There was still a sick feeling in her stomach, but for some reason it felt great -she had a body that could actually react like a normal physical body.
"It tasted good, though," she said about the drink, trying to make this less awkward.
