Oh, that's probably not it then. It's a dagger pretty much; it's best held the opposite wayyou would wield a regular dagger because you have to swing out and whatnot.

wakizashi are just sword swords. I know what your thinking off but I don't think they have any particular name. I know they're Tanto associated with wind and cyclones, though, and are made to represent the spinning wind. (why they are so curved)

Nope, not them. Their smaller, and the blade is more curved I believe. The blade's direction is supposed to be pointing to you when you wield it; the blade is unde rpart of your arm and then retracts to slash and whatnot. 3nodding

I'm not sure he means Tonfa, or even blades shaped like tonfa. More like a scimitar, but smaller and held backwards.
