"Enough for the both of us." Giving him a sligh smile at his kiss and inquiring. Rough around the edges still, but that was her Malik and he made it up to her somehow or another. "I'm alright...still jumpy. Not much Zahara can do for that, but she is still keeping a tab or two on me. Just to make sure." Shrugging lightly. "What already had at the books today or taking a break from them?"
Thus ensued the playing once more. They could be quite the little trouble makers when they wanted to be so. There was a lot of dunking being done, usually Lateef being the one dunked under. Hey she could have her fun too. "You'll never change, will you?"
"Yeah I know." He just put up with the health without too much complaining...it was just easier that way. And truth be told it all did make things more bearable for him. A pat to her hand as they started back to the house, giving a smile at thier son. "Very good, and yes we can have cookies. Then we need to go to Twilight."

"And you are overjoyed at that little fact, aren't you?" He reached down and plucked her out of the water, using his cape to dry her half naked body off. She was clothed in a very thin chemise and it wasn't doing much to kill his playful mood either. Scooping up the rest of their clothes, he dropped them in her lap, then scooped her up as well and headed for the fortress. "When did you want to go back home?"
Zahara lifted the little boy into her arms and settled him on her hip, then headed into the house. Setting him down at the table with the last two cookies and a small glass of milk, she ruffled his hair. "This is it little one, time to make more. You can help me do that tonight or tomorrow depending on what happens, okay?" Then she turned to Sevilin. "Why do we need to go to Twilight?"
"Because I promised Khai we'd be back and an Inthara never backs out on a promise. Least that's what Daddy always says." He giggled as crumbs fell out of his mouth and brushed them off his tunic. "Oops." Thus picking up his milk and promptly giving himself a milk mustache.

"Sometimes yes, sometimes no. All depends on what you're doing that day." Giving a chuckle before letting him plop clothes in her lap and promptly carry her back inside. She was examining her surcoat along the way though. "Home? Well, I guess we can't go back until the amount of time Kieran gave has passed, and until you've had all your fun."
"That, and need to check things, make sure everything runic wise is still going well. What with magic fluxing and such." His attention turning to his braid a moment as a ferret promptly scurried up it to plop on his head, leaning over to sniff at the stitches across his face and then give a chitter. "Looking for scraps are you?" Pulling a piece of jerky from a belt pouch and handing it up to the critter who promptly took to eating his treat on top of the drows head. So good to have Nym all well again. "Don't you want to check on Piper anyway?" A frown at Zykariel though...boy was making a mess...

"Mouth closed, Kariel." She picked up a napkin and wiped the mustache off then shook her head. Doing the mom spit thing she scrubbed chocolate off his cheek and pulled him out of the chair. "Go get your cloak." Watching the child scamper off, she brushed the crumbs off the table onto the chair and then from the chair into her hand. Dumping the crumbs into the trash, she threw the napkin into the pile of laundry they had growing. She needed to do that soon, too. "She's pretty much past the point that I can do anything for her but it doesn't hurt to check in with her. I don't want you overdoing it though, Sevilin. Runing stays at a minimum."
He toddled back into the kitchen attempting to snap the clasp of his cloak but it wouldn't hold. "Mommy! My cloak's broken!"
A shake of her head and she walked over and crouched down then her eyes widened. "What did you do to it?" He shrugged and she fiddled with the clasp for a moment then realized about a half of it was missing. "We'll give it to the tailor at Twilight and he can fix it. Where's your blue one?" She tossed the green mini-cloak to Sevilin and went with her son to find it. After a big production with that, the child was booted, cloaked, and raring to go and Zahara prayed to the gods it wasn't going to be one of those kinds of days. "Okay. Now we can go."

"Right runing at a minimum...I suppose that means we'll be walking there today?" Wasn't such a bad day to walk...underdark was quiet, the air was clear of mists and the moss was glowing brightly. That was about as close to a sunny day as the underdark got. Though a slight smile at the child whom was having cloak issues, which he duely caught. Hm, that was interesting. But he waited for them to ready themselves then it was out the door with them, Sevilin grabbing his pole arm on the way out.
Finishing his jerky, he chittered happily again leaning over Sevilin's head to presumably look into the drows eyes, giving another long series of chitters and purrs. He was in a chipper mood today, wasn't it? Another piece of jerky was handed to him and he happily hunkered down on Sevilin's head for the ride.

"Another two days and my vacation required time is over but I doubt Kieran's going to be happy to see me back right after. He'd be overjoyed if I took a few more days." He dried off his hair and began to carefully separate strands. "I know you'd like more time to visit with Piper and Zahara too, if you like." He glanced at his wife and gave her a smile. "Whatever you wish, A'mael. I live to please you."
Zykariel raced ahead as was normal, stopping every once in a while to pick up an interesting looking bug or poke something with a stick before glancing back to make sure his parents were following. He stayed within their sight, knowing better than to race too far ahead. They were walking a little slow for his taste though. "Come on slowpokes! Khai's waiting."
Zahara turned just in time to catch the ferret. "Nym! You're supposed to stay away from his face. Argh.." Everyone was out to rip that bandage off his face or cause him to bleed again, weren't they? She gave him the same sort of look she gave Zykariel when her patience was running thin and slowly shook her head before turning back to the road ahead. She kept glancing back and to all sides every few moments though, so often in fact she missed the jutting rock, tripped and had to rely on her super fast instincts or she was going to lose her balance.

"Yes he would be overjoyed. Then again he may just want to hug you when you get back because you've come to deliver him from Ahkallyn." Giving a chuckle at that as they were in thier room, changing into dry clothes and such at the moment. She had indeed been spending time with the women, and the children as well. They were such dears. Had to vicariously live off of other women's children when you weren't likely to have your own again. "We'll wing it." Before walking over and taking to his hair for him.
Nym gave a squeak and promptly lept down to Sevilin's shoulders, hiding around the back of his neck as he name was yelled in the 'you've stolen something you shouldn't even think about stealing' tone.
Sevilin chuckled slightly and then reached back to pet at the creature. "She only yells because she cares and you know that." Turning a look over to Zahara, somewhat of a smile gracing his features. "He's just worried too." Eyes turning to Zykariel. "How about you slow down? You'll be out of energy and won't be able to play if you go too fa-" Cut off in mid sentence and he reached out lightining quick and grabbed Zahara before she hit the ground. "Careful...you're quite paranoid today. What's wrong?"

He let her finish up his hair for him. Damn multicolored streaks were difficult when you couldn't really see and he had no desire to move closer to the mirror in the room. "I don't like to wing too much since scheduled events go smoother but I'm not feeling the scheduling mood right now. I think I've been more spontaneous these last few days than I ever have in my life...well except for the night I took you out on the balcony." Ah sweet memories.
Zykariel giggled, "Won't happen Daddy. I never run out of energy." He took to skipping off again though he glanced back and then raced back when it looked like his mother was going to fall. "You okay?" Apprehensive look.
"Mmhmm, just fine." Thankful dark skin didn't show blushes, she preoccupied herself with brushing off imaginary dirt and things. A shake of her head and she ran her hands through her hair, dislodging the clip that always sat there and shoved it back in irritatedly. She glanced all the way around and then back at Sevilin, before reaching up and prying off the ferret, cuddling him. "Sorry fuzzball, I'm just jumpy is all." Her gaze met Sevilin's and she shook her head. "I was looking for...Khaiver..."

"Being spontaneous is fun. Enjoy it." Pressing a kiss to his cheek before pulling his hair back, looping a ribbon around it close to his neck to hold it back. Though he did earn a girlish giggle from her at the mention of such activities. "That will always be a night to remember...you were just so..." Merely ending that sentence in a giggle...Caprice really wasn't one to talk directly about such things, too modest.
Still holding Zahara, he turned a look to Zykariel. "Yes you do." And back to...what his fiancee? Eh it was still up in the air and sinking in at the same time. But his attention turned to her fully as she took hold of Nym, whom offered up comforting noises to her and licking at her lightly. Sevilin raised a hand and brushed it over her cheek lightly. "Don't...everything is fine. Besides, we would know this time what with magic functioning. Trust me?"

"I've been dealing with some reports from that city-state Zahara has friends at. looks remarkably like a former deity is playing at being mortal again. and the books are done for my part. probably should give Ramoth a rub down sometime today as well."
a slight chuckle.
"Not to mention I think the Rainsongs will need some new clothes."

Oh yes it would. He was the bolder of the two, came with bringing about thunderstorms all of his life he supposed. After all, some sort of control over Nature and all her strange happenings gave one a heady sense of power, though he'd never let it go to his head. That got an elf killed pretty quickly. Nature only let them play so far. He reached behind himself and drew her around to plop in his lap just holding her. "I was really losing it up there, wasn't I?"
"Not when I have a promise to keep!" he called right back, giggling before racing on ahead and looping back around once again. He could see Twilight coming up so he just shook his head in disgust and slipped through the gates. He knew better than to go all the way in though, so he sat down on the steps and waited.
She offered him a slight smile and then nodded. Trust was a big word but she could give it to him. Amazing how things had changed. "I'm just really nervous...probably because you're out and about and I guess I'm terrified something is going to jump out of thin air and go straight for your cheek." A wry laugh as she leaned down and nuzzled Nym. "Okay, I'm overreacting and now I'm just going to head on forward and forget about all that babbling I just did. I trust you and that's all there is to it." A nod to punctuate that before she did just as she'd said she would.

"All work and no play makes Malik a dull elf. Honestly, where would you be if it weren't for me? Brooding away all day doing nothing but business and plotting revenge on whatever crossed your path that day." But an affirming noise to her husband on all his little thoughts. "She'd like that...I spend more time with her these days than you. And yes, Caprice and Lateef have been enjoying themselves haven't they? Rainsongs, ever adaptable. Just don't overdo it...I'm not in any shape to be forcing you back on vacation. Not mentally ready for that..."
"I wouldn't say that. You just get wrapped up in your work sometimes. It's cute in a certain aspect and horribly irritating in others. All depends on the day I suppose. But no worries, I'll still love you even if you don't show up for dinner a night or two every week. You're an important elf after all."
"Don't stress, it's not a pretty look on you." Giving a light chuckle and continuing on with her to Twilight, gathering Zykariel from the steps before pushing open the doors for them both and following in afterwards. At least all the annoying crowd was gone and he could survery things in peace. A look to Zykariel. "You can go play."

Once again he was thankful for her. She kept him straight and endured all his strange little quirks with a smile. His arms tightened around her and he nuzzled her neck, nibbling lightly. "Have I ever told you how much I love you?"
She watched the child scamper off to go find his friend and looked back at Sevilin taking his hands in hers. "I know I've said this a hundred times before but please be careful, Raven. Don't do anything silly and don't overdo the runing. Minimal at best.." She pressed a kiss to his palms and gave him a half smile. "I trust you to take care of yourself when I'm not there to do it for you." With those words, Zahara left him and went off, meandering through the fortress until she found Piper and Malik. Glancing between them, she quirked an eyebrow. "Everything okay?"

Malik visibly stiffened a bit at her voice, but nodded all the same.
"So far. I do want you to give her another checkup, and once your done, you and I are going to have a meeting. then I'll be tending to Ramoth, if you want to tend to Faete."
or if she can.
"After that, I want to get a list of the horses that need breaking into so I know which ones I need to be having a panic attack over when I see them out of thier stalls and no Piper or Zahara around."
A slight grin at that.

She gave another giggle at him, he was in that mood wasn't he? She merely twirled a piece of his hair around her finger before giving him one of those looks she did. "Well..not today you haven't."
"I understand, no worrying you. I'll be careful, I promise." Watching her go off with a sigh and a shake of his head before he turned on hsi boot to go make rounds on his runics. Yay work/
She crossed her arms, looking to Zahara. "Malik's being mean to me today." Childishly emphasising that by sticking her tongue out at the man before turning her attention back to Zahara. "He worries too much...and everything is relatively fine. But you heard the man, wants you to get another look at me." A look to thier son, seeing as if Zahara was here, that meant hte rest of them were. "You can go play." The child duely slipping down and running off.
