:::Cora looks around as well, and then realizes that he means she's asking too many questions:::
Uhm... no... no. Sorry... I just... by my time, there hasn't been such a thing as a sibling in hundreds of years... I was just- curious.
:::She scratches the back of her head, unsure of herself:::

:::Cora blinked at him, wondering how she could word the explination:::
They're from my future... and not from Omegatropolis. They're a product of revolution, or so they tell me.
:::She adopted a look in her eye that was distant and almost maudlin:::
They'd be the first brother and sister the earth has seen for a very long time.

*Luke smirks. Yeah, maybe the last now that the world's seen those two.*
*Luke watches Cora, thinking about what she's said. It made sense didn't it? Cora had no idea what sex even was when he met her.* I guess they stopped making babies the old-fashioned way, huh?

:::She snaps out of her little moment:::
Mm...? Oh you mean sexual reproduction. Right. It's taboo. Reproduction becomes regulated to avoid over population, which would be a strain on the limited remaining resources on the planet.

:::Cora gets a genuine laugh out of this:::
Yeah... I can't imagine going back. Not after having had sex. And chocolate. And wine. :::She sips, smiling into her glass::: And friends.

**Enter Maggie**
*Maggie fades in, stretching up on tiptoe to reach for something ... that's no longer there. She lowers herself back to flat feet and spots Luke and Cora chatting nearby. Smiling, she starts to move toward them* Cora, Luke ... good eve te ye both, there.

*Once Cora starts talking that way, Luke suddenly feels like this conversation has gone far past repair -- and then he sees Maggie.* Hey, Maggie. *sideways smile to Cora then back to Maggie* You found the party.

Hi Maggie. :::She smiles knowingly at her, as if to say... Look, Luke is here. I was going crazy over nothing...:::
Can I get you anything to drink?

*Maggie shakes her head slightly at Cora's offer, but returns her smile, relieved that her worry for Luke ended up being unfounded* Nay, I am alright, thank ye though.
How are ye both?

:::Cora wasn't too keen on telling them that she was slowly losing her mind, and even she knew it. Hell, Maggie had seen some of it... so she rubbed the back of her neck:::
I've got good wine and good company... :::she smiled::: How are things in your time?

*Maggie nods, glad to see Cora in better spirits* A bit busy, but well, I thank ye.
*She rests her hand on the back of a chair, noting that Luke doesn't volunteer an answer. Hesitating a moment, she then asks instead* I hope I amna interrupting yer conversation ..?

*Luke sends Maggie a smile of 'are you kidding me?'* You? You're right on time, babe.
*stands up, grins and throws a thumb at Cora* She was starting to talk about girl s**t again. *He turns around and grins already knowing the look Cora will give him.* You were on the road.

:::Cora shook her head when Luke made his comment. She turns to look at Maggie:::
Of all the things... I can't believe I didn't notice it sooner. Boys are so sensitive to it.
