True. But, if there was a thirty-foot shark, I'd never go in the water again.. But still! If it were a twenty foot shark, he'd still eat the dude at the end.

Sharks that big don't usually get that close to land. They need a lot of space.

No but they went diving to find the stupid thing. It's their fault. And then, at the end, they went out on a boat, and their boat sunk. So he was floating on wood, or something, when Jaws came.

But they were trying to capture it, weren't they? I mean.. christ, would you try and catch a freakin' thirty foot shark? I doubt it. It's like a soap opera. Completely fake, annoyingly fake.

Fake for more then one reason, a shark that size would have died from starvation along time ago, not enough food out in the open waters.... and jaws was always out in open waters.... what was it doing... eating whales..?

the biggest shark there is is a whale shark, which is COMPLETELY harmless to humans. If you're afraid of a whale shark, you're a phytoplankton (sp?)
and yeah, Jaws was completely breaking the laws of physical nature.
anyone see uhm... that movie with the super sharks? like, deep blue sea, or something similar to that...

yeah, Deep Water. With the super sharks that swim backwards and the guy who got harpooned in the leg, and barely didn't get blown up by a high powered electrical charge applied to the harpoon cable.

But now, they're coming out with Dark Water. And it has nothing to do with the ocean or sharks or anything. I think it's the one after Fear Dot Com.

yeah, I never saw Fear Dot Com. i don't think I will this year... I saw my freak-out-almost-have-a-nightmare-movie for the year... Land of the Dead... It didn't so much scare the s**t out of me, than it really really hurt. I have empathy, so the visualisations of the flesh being torn, and UGH!!! It really made me hurt a lot...

And you know what is really retarded? The main character, yeah, NEVER dies. There is only one movie that kills off the main character, White Noise. And that movie was GAY. But somehow worth it, because he died.
