mmmmmm... good morning all. Hey, is it sleep in and screw work day today by any chance?

I don't really have the hate for the cash shop. I also don't feel the need to buy something just because it's waved in front of me. lol Very rarely I will buy a cash card (by rarely I mean around once or twice a year). Even then I'll never buy something that is based on chance because I do not have that kind of luck. I know I'm bound to get the cheapest, ugliest thing possible. blaugh

Mostly I just make a note of the things I like and either sell off some old stuff or wait until the price goes down. If it's exceedingly expensive I just go oh well - I don't really need it anyway. rofl

In my opinion this site is pretty good at not restricting the good stuff to only cash players. We can still get into zOMG. There are no "restricted" areas that only premium members can go to. In fact there's no "regular" Gaia vs. "premium" Gaia.

I'm sorry - I didn't mean to make this into a lecture or rant. I get that not being able to have things you want is frustrating. Maybe it's the fact that in that way Gaia is just like real life and people like to use Gaia to escape that for a while - and don't like how it squirms it's way in here anyway. lol

@ Joe.. I disagree.. I think it's totally screw work day.. Anyone got a hammock I can borrow?

@Camwen - I think you hit it right on the head there at the end.. I think the fact that real life, issues like finances and not being able to afford the things you want in life, invading Gaia is a huge aggravation when you come here to de-stress and relax lol.

When I first joined gaia almost 3years ago I could afford the monthly collectibles.. and everyone said the best way to make money was to buy those and save them.. sell them later and make a huge profit right? Well since the evolving items came out all of the monthly collectibles have been dropping in price, cause why pay 100,000g for an item with 5 poses vs. one with 25 poses?

I guess that's what I get for falling into the Gaia Stock Market lol and buying Mc's hoping they'd make me money.. The one big plus of being broke.. I can't fall for it any more lol. So I now have the largest wishlist I've ever had and I just keep adding to it.. If at some point I have the money great.. if not? oh well.. k'sera.. it's all just pixels right?

Okay.. enough about the darn cash shop items lol I promise..

One thing about this Lonely Star RIG, it has a Cthulhu item! I went and bought it on the mp but my brain did an instant "must acquire" scream of glee when I saw it!
