She doesn't know what happened, but suddenly, Selurnis finds herself back in the Brink, back to back with Audyhnnh, who she last remembered was clutching her by the wrist.
"Well... that was odd..."
She turned and looked behind her shoulder to see her friend. He didn't look anything different... but she could now lean into him.
"What is this place?" she asked, more thinking aloud than actually addressing the question to anyone in particular.

She turned and looked behind her shoulder to see her friend. He didn't look anything different... but she could now lean into him.
"What is this place?" she asked, more thinking aloud than actually addressing the question to anyone in particular.
He wasn't really wondering why she disappeared. He knew she wouldn't have the answer because, frankly, he didn't know how he'd gotten here, either. The thing he was wondering was why she had been walking repeatedly into the wall.

"I don't know why you haven't changed...." she mumbled quietly, "but I feel like I'm flesh and blood again... That's the first time since I can remeber that I haven't been able to walk through a wall." sweatdrop
She turned and touched him on the arm, "You're just as well-materialized as me~!"

She looked panickingly at Audyhnnh wondering if they'd gotten into trouble. Selurnis was used to meeting authoratative figures -ghost hunters -and she didn't like them... Especially now that she found herself unable to phase-out and dematerialize.

He twitched at the touch and pulled back, at the same time someone had stepped up to them and spoke with them.
He looked at Sel and them back at Serenis.
"We are beings for which titles and status are of no consequence."

"I'm... I'm... uh..." she looked up at Audyhnnh, wondering what to say next. There wasn't really a 'proper' introduction she could think of.

There was something about being her that she really liked. There was something about having a flesh and blood body again that she absolutely loved. But, at the same time, there was something about the way this place made all these changes to her that made her worry.
She was hoping the change to her body was permenant, but shortly after her first time being here, she got phased out again, back to her old world, where she was again just a figment of anyone's nightmare or myth.

Selurnis She blinked, wondering the same thing. "What is this place...?" she asked Audyhnnh, quietly.
He didn't like this place... not at all. Sure, he had a material body now, but he liked having his powers better. It felt safer, being strong enough to protect Selurnis -but that was being stripped away now, somehow.
He hissed under his breath.

The residents call this place The Brink of Time. Many being from all times and all places appear here at the will of the Brink. It picks you up and at it's discression sends you back. No time in your world passes while you are here, when you return home, it is as though you never left. We are all accepting here, or at least are the people who I have met thus far. Make yourselves at home.

Selurnis could clearly tell that her friend was uncomfortable being here, but she didn't dislike being here.
"What's wrong?" she asked when she heard him hissing. Besides the obvious, of course. He'd already told her he didn't have his powers. But that was no big deal... she can't even recall what her powers were, all she knew was just that at one point she had them at all.

He wondered... this place stripped him of his powers... Has it done the same to others?

Since just giving a name couldn't hurt, she finally introduced herself, "I'm Selurnis, but people call me Sel for short. Nice to meet you." 3nodding
