Neko looked up to return Rogue's gaze before replying. I'll be right up. The Tainted elder made her way quickly, but not hurridly, up to where Rogue had instructed her to go. Upon arriving, the animalian was blunt.
"We have a serious problem, and I'm afraid that there isn't an easy way to solve it."

*Rogue turned slightly so that her eye was barely visible and she smirked a bit.*
"We?"
*Rogue took a drag on her cigarette before turning completely around, her eyes igniting like they so often did to their bright emerald.*

"Yes, we." Neko replied firmly. "The Lycans have been openly attacking the Tainted for some time now, but no matter what I do, they just keep on coming. If they're attacking my people like this, what's to stop them from going after vampires, esspecially during the day when you need to sleep." Neko paused, taking a breath to keep her emotions under control. "We need to call an Elder meeting, and this time we need to include the Hunters. We need to do our best to resolve this peacefully or the war will flare up worse than it has in years."

*Rogue smiled slightly...a smile filled with cockyness. She took a drag on her cigarette.*
"And we need to call an elders meeting with the hunters. If I recall the hunters have been destroying us all. The lycans...they are just dogs and are too unorganized for anything.
You know this....
And yet you come to me...with this proposal with a meeting. A meeting that I must call..."
*She took a drag on her cigarette again and blew it out leveling a playful gaze at Neko. She loved simply playing with the elder....*

"I didn't say that you needed to call the meeting. I said that we need to call it. This is getting out of hand, and unless you want a full-scale war to arise, it would be in your best interest to help me broker peace between our peoples. Unless you want Lycans desecrating the corpses of your people next." Neko said, her own cocky smile in place. Though many though that Neko was far too young to be an elder, it was clear that the animalian knew what she was doing. For being only 19, she had obviously inherited some of her parents' more cunning traits. "So what will it be, Rogue?"

"A full scale war...mmm..."
*She took a drag on her cigarette contemplating what the young elder had said. Even for her few years she possessed knowledge beyond them.
"We shall call a meeting...there is much to discuss."
*She looked intensely at the elder knowing another plan that was coming into place but it was far from peace. She kept her mouth shut however and merely smirked as most of the vampire elders might, knowing much more than they were saying...like they could hear a joke outside the room, or knew of a funny story...*

"We may not have spoken at great lengths together, nor are we friends, but the smirk tells me something. I hope you aren't keeping anything from me, Rogue. I would hate to learn that you have been leading me around like some pet on a leash." Neko said, her ears turning back slightly, indicating mild annoyance.

Neko's ears when back even further. "Look, instead of dropping these hints, why not just out whatever your little secret is?" Neko's tails thrashed a bit, along with her ears indicating increased annoyance and anger. Let Rogue think she was angry, a teenager being led around by her emotions. The neko kitsune WOULD get to the bottom of this.

*In a flash of rage that came like the blink of an eye, Rogue moved with such speed only a vampire elder could possess. A hand went to the Tainted Elder's throat as she pushed her up against a wall.
Rogue's eyes leveled a gaze into the demon's eyes...her emerald sparks coming alive and alit and teeth elongated....
"I will not be subjected to your questioning especially on matters that do not concern your race. I have agreed to a meeting of elders, but NOT for your teenage embarassment of an elder. You will respect YOUR elders so long as your life and your race in concerned or there will be no peace between any peoples...and a few words from my mouth would bring war on your heads."

Neko quietly withsood Rogue's attack. Ah, the joys of being young. Just because she was still a child in human terms didn't mean that Neko was intelligent or wise. "There is already a war, Rogue. I don't think my people need another. I will comply. Will you please let me down?"

"The war hasn't even begun, little one."
*She gave Neko a look that weighted her words that only one who had seen a bit of the ages could give. Rogue had seen enough of the wars over the ages and the fact that the elders of the races could get together to try to decide things..was far further than it had been in ages. It could revert back at any day when direct and precise killings could be made...
Rogue slowly let Neko down and walked away from her in the room going to the bar to get another drink and lit a cigarette on the way.*

"There are only three people who can call me little one, Rogue. And you aren't one of them." Neko commented as she was let down, one hand going to her throat out of instinct. There would probably be a bruise, but the elder could handle bruises. "Unless you want to pin me to the wall again, I believe our business is finished for now. All we need to do is decide where we shall hold the meeting. We held the last one here, if I remember correctly. Perhaps we could use the Ties this time."

*Rogue's mind moved through thoughts of up to Demonic Ties...a place she had visited upon first coming to New York..
She shrugged.
Seeing that tensions seemed to be higher this time around because races were afraid of what the others might do..
"Possibly a more median ground. Demonic Ties is a place striving for peace, but because of the unrest lately and the fact that you probably don't want hunters there, I'm not sure it would be a great idea...Possibly one of the many churches...or even Bribonona, a human restaurant of New York's finest, thought I own it...I don't know what you eat but I'm sure we could find something that would suit your tastes there...
There are private rooms that are heavily guarded in the back that are good for such private meetings."
