Yuke felt like crying for the first time since he was little. His mother was standing behind him, combing his tangled long hair, which he'd grown out all his life apparently on the instincts of his parents. It was shorter than either of theirs, but Kai felt it needed to be pulled back. She left his shorter bangs on his face, and pulled a braid around the sides of his head, to keep his face clear. And that was just his hair. The kimono she'd gotten him was a deep blue, with lighter blue patterns on it, which really brought out his green eyes and dark red hair. When she finally released him, he stared down at his slightly shorter mother, somewhat glad he hadn't put up with that for all his life.
Of course, Anya had many more victims that day, though many were willing. She'd been working on make-up and hair for the girls of the student body (of which there was a significant lack) and of course, those who hadn't been willing to go themselves were dragged by others. Even the mute potions girl, whom Anya had planned on torturing herself, was pulled into it.
As Anya finished the mute's makeup, she took a step back. She'd put the girl's hair up in a twist at the back of her head, with a few curls around her face that she'd glossed. There was smokey eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara, to emphasize the eyes, as well as blush, a peach lipstick, and a little bit of sparkle. The faerie tucked some loose hair behind her ear an tilted her head. "I think you're do-" she began before the doors burst open. A couple of girls came in with somewhat evil smiles. Behind them were two guys dragging in a familiar, rather scary, girl. They dropped her off and dashed out of the room before she could try to kill them. "Ah, Ghost. Ghost, Ghost, Ghost," she said, stepping forward with make-up in hand.

The mute was rather uncomfortable with such things on he face, and expressing this to Anya, begging to go without such make-up. She'd wear the dress, the shoes, and even wear her hair as Anya had fixed it, but jsut without the heavy cosmetics.
Sorako sighed some as he was headed to the ballroom, hoping not many girls were staring at him. He felt rather awkward in this attire and he hoped the night would end soon.

Anya sighed as she caught the mute's signs, and she sighed. She waved her hand, keeping Ghost from running away by forming flaming chains that would trap the girl there. Anya slowly and carefully took off the eye makeup, leaving the blush, the light colored lipstick, and the slight shimmer on the mute. "Better?"
Yuke found Sora and frowned, knowing he looked way worse than his cousin did. "How did you get away from them looking so normal?" he muttered to the younger one, tugging at the kimono uncomfortably.

Sora looked to his cousin and smiled. "Come on, Yuke-kun. Girls go for the exotic guys." he said, adjusting his jacket some. "Besides, I'm just waiting until your mother tracks me down and forces me into one as well."
The mute thanked Anya profusely as the make up was removed. And as promised, everything else was left as is. She left Ghost alone with Anya and headed to the ballroom herself.

Yuke glanced around nervously, meeting the eyes of a handful of girls and glancing away again. Having lived his whole remembered life with just Sora, he wasn't used to the mixing.
Anya turned to Ghost and smiled evilly. The necromancer just closed her eyes and grimaced. This was not going to pleasant.
Music started just moments after Sora and Yuke's short conversation, and people began to dance on the dancefloor while others ate at the tables around the edges. The doors were shut, and the lights dimmed.
Once Anya was done with Ghost, the girl wasn't very recognizable. Anya wouldn't be talked out of the makeup she'd done on her. The faerie had fond a black and blue dress and forced the necromancer into it, then done up the girl's black hair with a black rose to hold it up, the stem easily coiling around the locks of hair Anya commanded it to. She'd put blue eyeshadow, black eyeliner, and red lipstick on Ghost, successfully making the little bit of gray in Ghost's white eyes stand out enough to make them look less freaky than usual. After forcing the unhappy necromancer into a pare of black shoes, she dragged the girl towards the ballroom. Since the doors were already closed and the music had already started, the pulling open of the ballroom doors was slightly disturbing. Ghost skidded into the room as Anya pushed her and looked around, completely out of place.

And who should Ghost be beside, but the mute who had left just moments before her torture. The mute greeted her with a silent sign and a friendly smile. She then complimented on how she looked. Which was wonderful.
Sorako didn't hear the door through the music. How he wished to be back in his room. But at least he was a bit safer in the ballroom. Yuke's parents couldn't drag him off and dress him up while he was in here amongst all the students. But he couldn't help staying by Yuke, feeling just as nervous.

Ghost shakily smiled back at the mute, feeling strange. She hadn't been smiled at, nor smiled, in a very long time. She nervously tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and complimented the other girl back, glad to have a pleasant conversation. Of course, it was pretty obvious that nobody knew who she was at the moment. Did how she look really affect her aura that much? She wondered.
Yukeolani, unlike Sorako, had indeed heard the door. As he turned, still picking at his kimono, he raised his eyebrows high. He instantly decided that out of the two girls, the one with the more natural makeup was prettier; the naturalness of her made her shine a little bit more in his opinion. He tapped Sora on the shoulder, multiple times, to get the other prince's attention.

The mute continued to sign to Ghost, smiling, as the conversation went on. She was glad she had someone to talk to, not even noticing the princes.
Sora turned to look at his cousin, feeling the tap. "What is it Yuke-kun?" he asked, following his gaze to the two girls near the door. He found his own little crush on that darkly dressed girl. He quickly turned to hide his slight blush.

Ghost began to feel a little better as she continued to talk to the girl, then she realized she didn't know the other's name. So, she nervously cleared her throat and asked, "What's your name? I've seen you around and all, but I don't really know you."
Sora couldn't hide anything from Yuke. The older prince turned Sora around and looked at him. "I'll talk to her" he said, gesturing to the lighter one, "If you talk to her," he said, gesturing to the other one.

The mute thought about how to express it. She smiled some and took one of Ghost's hands in her own. She drew out the letters of her name, spelling Natalia.
Sora shook his head frantically. "N-No, I can't!"

Ghost smiled a little bit more. "That's really pretty," she said. The nervous necromancer crossed her arms, but left one hand dangling a little, in case the mute--Natalia--wanted to spell out letters.
Yuke nudged Sora's shoulder. "Look, I'll go too, remember? And if you don't act fast I'll best someone else will talk to them and we'll be standing here for the rest of the night wishing we'd gone over there," Yuke said, whining a little.

Natalia smiled some and stood next to Ghost, waiting and glancing around the room some. Though she stayed close to the necromancer, still rather shy.
"Y-You can go talk to her... I-I don't think I can!" Sorako muttered meekly, soon just about to make an excuse of getting some water or something to eat to get out of this awkward situation.

Yuke rolled his eyes and grabbed Sora's arm, dragging him through the crowd. Just before they exited from the crowd, he let go of Sora slightly and tugged him over to the two girls. He smiled at them, glancing towards the lighter one for a moment. "Hello, I am Yuke, this is Sora. We don't really know anybody around here; we're new. Most of the other groups look a bit like a mosh pit, so I figured this was the safest bet."

Sorako stumbled slightly as they exited the crowd and came face to face with the girls. He tried so hard not to blush as his eyes met Ghost's, but a little color still shown through.
Natalia watched as Yuke came over, blushing some. She moved behind Ghost a little, writing into her hand to hide her for a few moments since Yuke was coming. She was so embarrassed now and very very shy.

Ghost was confused for a moment as Natalia signed to her to hide her, and the darker girl looked over her shoulder as the other one hid behind her. Then, she turned and found herself facing two guys. For a moment, she stared at them, then back at Natalia. Well, considering one of them was mute, it looked like Ghost would have to speak. "Um, well, hi. Uh, this is Natalia, I'm Ghost. And yeah, so..."
