Yea actually it's kind of irritating because the guy I'm doing the logo for won't give me straight answers if he even addresses one of my questions at all. So oh well he's getting what he's getting. :p

Don't feel bad lpd ;3; It happens.
I wish people would shut it about hurricane Ike. All summer I've been getting "how's that hurricane?" "are you ok?" "are you evacuating yet?" whether or not there's actually a hurricane anywhere near us. *face palms* Ya know, when I was at school, I didn't get any of that. Hurricanes and tropical storms just sort of skimmed by us and... well... that was that. Kind of makes me wish I was back there so I wouldn't have to hear any of it.

yea...i guess..Ike is what, a catagory 2 now, almost 3? Thats really nothing, I could understand people in Louisiana or Mississippi getting worried after Katrina, but Texas...nah...I couldn't see anyone around there being worried much. Maybe people around there are jsut talking about it, just to talk.

It's not so much being in Louisiana or Mississippi that should make you worried. It's all about *where* in the states you are. If you're living along the coast or, in the case of New Orleans, BELOW sea level, yea, you're gonna have a rough time of it. The other issue with Katrina and New Orleans were the levees. Otherwise the storm itself really wasn't as bad as the end results.
But none the less, it *has* created hysteria. :p Houston is well enough inland, especially my side of town, that we'll be fine certainly if Ike isn't going to be anything more than a weak cat 3 when it hits. Heck, it'd be rather lucky to still be a 2 by the time it gets to me >.>
People in Galveston however should worry yes. They've got a 10 foot wall separating them from the sea. Not really gonna cut it if there are 15 ft storm surges you know? lol
But I digress...
