3.14 Ashram_VII 3.14 Ashram_VII CC>> Long time no see! (course that's due to my not being here much ninja ) In case you didn't see ... you might be interested in my most recent Journal update as it recounts some of happenings in the classroom. Fear and Loathing in English class. Yes ... I'm totally reading that book right now. Er. Replace 'English class' with 'Las Vegas'. Indeed surprised I haven't read it but I have a friend who dubs it one of his top ten favorite books/movies. Both are good. I'm a big Hunter S. Thompson fan. Aye, he is as well. Dominatrix Pi is quite interesting. surprised

They also sell their vinals. ...is that how you spell that? Vinal? Vinyl. I feel the need to go over there and ask if they have any Porcupine Tree or Captain Jazz T-Shirts. Or maybe some Explosions in the Sky CDs. Not to mention, all their crap is overpriced. Just goes to show you, Hot Topic doesn''t care about your individuality, they care about your money, like any other retail store.

Ashram_VII I've bought one thing at Hot Topic ... my NERV shirt. (and I love it so heart ) Your avi reminds me of Snidley Whiplash. heart I went to Hot Topic, I got some bad looks from the regulars. Then they pestered me for wearing a polo shirt and a running jacket. Then I stomped on their asses and left. I mean, really, they just could've made snide remarks behind my back but nooooooooooo. They had to bug me for "conforming" to an untruthful image. Did they even know what they were talking about? confused

I don't really have a problem with Hot Topic. I RARELY buy anything from there. I don't really like their clothes...and yes, there music is over priced [Not that they have any music that I like...]. Every now and then I find something worth buying though.

I wear button up shirts, khakis or dress pants (and I like it thankyouverymuch) everyday. Ah yes ... good ole Snidely ... eh heh sweatdrop I'd need to get a top hat to pull that one off ... the current avi is "S&M Ashram" (as I can't recall the "proper" term for the male dominatrix)

I don't see how my clothes express who I am. confused
Because to me, these kids must be real individuals by wearing all black clothing. Very original.
It seems like they want to me known more by this faux goth label then by their own personality traits and personal desires.
Snidely Whiplash rocks my socks.

I still have my tigger overalls. Cute. whee @Ashram: What these kids don't realize is that they are infact, popular. "Oh look, it's that goth kid Michelle. She's all blah blah blah." I mean, how can you want to not be noticed when you look like a raccoon?
