Zahara was mostly quiet as the boys got their things ready to go. She wasn't sure if she was going on the ramble or not. After all, this would be the perfect time to have a discussion with Khaiver. But at the same time she had no excuse for staying behind so she stood and walked into the library coming back with a bag and some jars before handing one each to the boys. "When you fill it with something I'll trade you an empty one for a full one. That way you won't have to ask for one and can just grab whatever you find, alright?"
Zykariel took his jar and was more than happy to agree to that. He made sure his boots were nice and tight then grabbed his and Malikhai's cloak, knowing his mother's rules about that, and headed outside. "What do you think we're gonna find Malikhai?" Taking to walking on down the grounds, the adults following closely behind.
Watching the boys closely, she called, "Stay where we can see you!" Then fastening her own cloak and turning to Sevilin. "I thought we could head towards the river. You and the boys can do some fishing if you like and I'll sit back against a tree and figure out which bugs we're taking home and which are goign to magically escape their jars." Nothing poisonous and nothing that looked like it was on its last leg. And absolutely no spiders. "Does that work for you?"

She nuzzled lightly at her husband before giving a sigh and fitting herself comfortably against him...which in her opinon was much better than laying on the ground with a rock poking her in the kidney or such things. Which that thought made her giggle because well...it just did. "So, were you good while I was gone or are there things I need to personally beat you for? Or did you sit around all worried like because you got those little bond twinges from me?"
He waited for the boys before they all headed out...he of course sans cloak, but he did take a moment to grab his pole arm and Nym as well...little guy could use some fresh air for a bit and well...Khaiver was out here, he wasn't going to go out unarmed at all. "Yeah that'll work...besides, river is fairly the same in land...easy to see things."
He took his jar, pulled on his cloak and plopped Yinn on his head before heading out with his friend, toddling along in front of the adults. "Some bugs for Yinn, I'm gonna teach him things like a falcon so I need lots of treats to give him so he'll learn fast."

It was easier to just keep silent than blast him about talking to Khaiver even though that's what she really wanted to do. It just grated on her nerves how much power he more or less handed to that b*****d who had done so much damage. She meandered along beside him, watching the boys and making sure they stayed out of trouble but didn't really say anything.
"Training him like a falcon? Can Yinn fly?" He glanced around resolving in his mind to help his friend look for bugs to help Yinn learn whatever he was going to be learning as quickly as possible. It was exciting to teach the animals things as Zykariel had learned with Nym quite a few times.
"What about that red and black one over there? See it kind of hanging out on that rock? How 'bout that one?" He toddled over and crouched down so the bug was eye level with the little scrunched drow. "I think he'd be a good one. Looks nice and juicy and Yinn likes juice."

"I was good while you were gone. nothing to beat me for. only minor bouts of concern and or worry and a few minor things you might have been upset for but Zahara took your place on that and made sure to act as my moral compass. Did those things I sent you help any?"
holding his wife next to him and kissing her lightly.
"but now that your home, won't have to worry about you anymore."

He merely walked along, Nym riding on his shoulder, not looking any perkier, but he wasn't looking any worse either. Sevilin would of already put another rune on the little guy, but didn't want to risk anything happening negatively at the moment...it was best just to wait on some things wasn't it? Much so. A look over to the boys. "And nothing bigger than your hands either boys..." Did not need another one of those fiascos. But a look to Zahara. "Well...at least things will start getting back to normal now..."
"He's got four wings and been jumping off things lately, so I think he can. Or at least he's trying too. Sometimes his wings get caught on each other and I have to untangle him." Giving a giggle at that before crouching down and looking at the bug as well, then up to Yinn on his head. "What do you think?" Yinn duely leapt from the boy's head and snatched the bug, eating it. "I think that's a yes, let's find more." Which meant duely grabbing a stick from the ground and poking around in that rock...where there was one bug there were always more.
"Oh good, glad to know someone stepped up. Though if I know you two...her trying to be your moral compass meant you being a painful thorn in her side in some respect." Shaking her head lightly at him, but giving him a smile none the less. She knew her Malik. Though indulging him a moment before running her hand through his hair and along his ear, giving a tug at the tip in comfortable motions. "Much so in several ways. Glad you have fore-thinking as such, or else I may have more fluid in my lungs than I do now." Which wouldn't be fun at all now would it? No. Dampered that screaming some though. Yet she looked none to phased...best not to worry. "That's right...so you don't have to go having nervous break downs just about like you were...remember, I could feel everything from you too. I knew how you were..."

It didn't take them too long to fill up all those jars and Zahara had already gone through them and decided that they could all stay. Most of them were red and black and she knew that particular type wasn't poisonous but Nym rather liked to eat them. They were a delicacy to the animal palate if one wanted to go that far. Sevilin had the boys at the river and she could hear giggles and shrieks from the kids which told her they were all having a good time. She stood and left the clearing making her way back to the fortress where she found Khaiver. "I want you to leave Sevilin and Zykariel alone. You got what you came here for, Khaiver. You can't have either of them and you've done enough damage to appease yourself and your mistress for the next few years. Go home."
Zykariel flung the line back into the water and waited. He hadn't caught anything yet and he was quickly losing patience though he'd been fishing with Daddy before. They'd even slept on the ground outside all night one time. That had been rather fun and he would have been thrilled to do it again. "Daddy, nothing's biting. Are you sure there's fish in there?"

a shiver at her playing with his ear. devil woman, but he liked her that way.
"hey, I never had a nervous breakdown. and even if I did, the only person to suffer for it would have been Khavier...and Meilikki's personal guard. I bet I could have made at least as far as Sstrl without too much trouble."
Onyx heard the voice, and then it kinda of clicked. Delta...Omega was along those lines as well wasn't it. So probably in the first act of actual self motivation, he crawled down swiftly along the walls and into the window to hunt down Delta. and when he found her, his claws extended and he grabbed her wrist.
"Your name is similar to another's I know. someone that did something to me. do tell me, what do you know of one called Omega?"
though a twitching of his wings nad tail, and a swivel of ears gave away that another pair was on his mind as well. Cedric and Aella. Anger motivated him for the moment out of his lethargy, and was probably fueling thoughts dealing with those two as well.

Khaiver was enjoying himself really, more or less torturing something underdark and furry that he was probably going to throw on a fire an eat later anyway. He was just bored. Though his attention came up and he actually had a look of surprise about his features as Zahara approached him...he wasn't surprised to be found, it wasn't like he was hiding. "Ah it's you...Sevilin's...well, I don't know what you are to him. Probably his tie to old ways so that he doesn't go to pieces." A chuckle. "And you come to me demanding things of me. If I don't bow to D'vinn, what makes you think I would to you, woman? And I haven't gotten what I've come for yet...and I won't leave till I have."
Malikhai was sitting next to his friend, waiting patiently to feel a tug on his line. "What if we get something, and it's too big, and it pulls us into the water? Mommy won't be happy if I come home all wet and icky." It was nice to say that again wasn't it? Very very much so.
"Nothing will pull you in, I promise that. And if something started to happen, well I think I could handle it." Giving a look to his own son then. "Yes, there's fish in there. You just have to be patient remember...and make sure they aren't just stealing your bait...can't catch fish with nothing on your hook." Breifly he had indeed glanced over to see Zahara meandering off...probably to gather her little herbs or whatever type things...
Sly smile...it was nice to be able to do such a thing to him. Little Piper could bring the Might Malik to his kness at times. The haha guilt...not fun. "Not talking about Meilikki, remember?" Which meant she was quiet for a moment, resting her head against his chest in her own contemplative thought breifly. A shake of her head as if to clear it as she lifted her head from his chest and looked at him once more. "Well..not nervous breakdown persay, but you were having a slump. Are you really that miserable without me or am I just flattering myself too much?" Taking a moment to tuck a few loose strands of red and silver behind her halved ear.

"You have business dealings with D'vinn and he needs good PR to keep things in line and working the way he wants them to. D'vinn isn't stupid and neither are you. If you choose, you could scrap this deal and tell your mistress D'vinn refused to cooperate. She'd never be the wiser since I highly doubt she'd get off her a** and come down here. I, however, am not in business with you and I don't care if you're appeased or not." She crossed her arms and shook her head. "And what is it you've come for Khaiver? He's not the same as he once was though you do a damn good job of ******** with his mind and making him believe otherwise. Don't you think you've done enough damage to appease your sadistic pleasures?"
He glanced at his father dubiously but went with it and shrugged. "Okay." Thus he sat there and waited, trying to be patient, for a fish to decide he liked the bait on his hook and snap. He felt a tug and waited a moment then began to pull back. "I think I got one!"

"Very few things I care about have ever wandered far. Ramoth, the servants, anything. and to have you so far away from me, and knowing that while I could feel you through our bond, but not protect you, or watch you, or help you...that tore at me. to be unable to help the woman I love and married...I could tear Andal down around your grandfather's ears if he'd tried to sto our marriage, or if the Brigade tried to get me...but I couldn't help you in my own plane, in the underdark, the place that I was born and raised in."
A small frown, though holding her close.
"I could have lost you, and not been able to even so much as be there. That did not make me a happy Tier'dal."

Khaiver shrugged. "Does it matter you what I do with the information I have? You're just so jaded aren't you? Speaking of betrayel of the sorts...there's no reason for it. A deal is a deal now isn't it? In Andal, we do have our honor. But you seem to not care, not that I think you wouldn't anyway." Crossing his arms lightly over his chest. "Just need a talk with him...though you are apparently against that it seems. And he is the same as ever, you just choose to ignore it, I suppose. Or think you've molded him to your own liking. He'll never be at the top of anyone's pecking order, just how life is, how he is. And I'm sure I could do more if I wanted...he'd easy to get to if you know the cracks to pick at."
A look over to his son. "Hold your ground then and keep steadily going back to bring it in. You know the drill, let's see if you've perfected it."
Malikhai watched his friend and pulled in his own line. "Aw, my bait's gone..." Looking to Yinn who made a few noises in regards to Zykariel's nosie and got that curious look. "No Yinn, be good."
Piper nuzzled his chest before tilting her head up to press a kiss to his throat and nuzzle under his chin all in those affectionate comforting gestures of hers. "And that is the reason, why bonds are few and chosen in wise manner. They can be more damaging sometimes...but they're still worth it other times. Complicated but so worth it." Another kiss pressed this time to his collar bone. "About a thousand miles or so away, if I do recall...and I'm sure if I truly needed you, you would of been there in a hearbeat. But I didn't intend on dying either...but if something did go wrong...weell, you wouldn't of reacted the way you think you would have...you would of still had Malikhai."

"I'm jaded? I came from the same life he lived and I know how it goes. And you bring nothing but trouble, that's not assumption, that's experience." A shake of her head. "And that shows not only how narrow minded you truly are but also how much you fail to understand. I don't control Seviln and I certainly haven't molded him into anything. He has grown and changed according to how he wants to be and is and he's come a long way from the s**t that you put him through!" Okay she was beginning to get irritated and that last sentence set her off completely. Her eyes flashed and she walked over to him and jabbed him in the chest. "You have no business and no right to pick at him in any way, shape or form. Go the ******** home, Khaiver. You serve no purpose than a dog to your mistress. Sevilin is not a bone you can bring home!"
Zykariel did indeed know the drill and he waited the proper amount of time before he began to pull his line in, gently at first and then with a bit more force as the fish began to struggle. "Daddy! He's wiggling and I'm afraid I'm gonna lose him! I think he's real big too." That was exciting. And then they could cook his fish and he could eat it and everything would be just like it had been that other time.

"You'd be surprised what I can do and have done."
a slight smile to her, and a kiss to the top of her head.
"I'd have had Malikhai in armor, sword in hand and been there ready to slaughter anything with Ramoth protecting my son."
a slight snicker.
"But nothing did happen, and everyone is home safe. now once magic is back, and Khavier is gone, things will be fine. though I'm going to take some pleasure in making Lateef spend time down here. it'll do him some good to take a vacation. though I think he's just going to turn his monarch buisness attentions toward me."

She was just flying off the handle wasn't she? Which was amusing to him. "Little elves...they're all talk and show, nothing practical or the like." Giving a chuckle and then a frown as she poked him in the chest...and he duely grabbed her wrist and kicked her legs out from under her, throwing her to the ground. "No touching, little elf." Then a chuckle. "You and Malik both in denial...has he not taken orders from one of you constantly? Has he not needed to be in some sort of subserviant position at almost constant hours? And I have every right to do with him what I see fit."
A look to Malikhai, figuring he should endeavour to involve the other child in this as well. "Malikhai, why not help him pull in that big fish? I want to see if both of you can do it. I'll watch Yinn." Taking the creature from the boy.
Whom duely jumped up and ran over to his friend to help him pull in th efish by adding on his own weight. Wasn't this exciting. After all, he didn't do things like this with his parents, he did other things that were equally exciting though.
"You never cease to amaze, that's for sure. But that's one of those things I love about you, you just keep on surprising me and surprising me." Snuggling into him all the more, couldn't get enoug of that feeling of being near him so closely..."No, nothing did happen and that's the important part, right? Right. I'll look forward to things going back to normal, and then whining about the things I missed here...like my horses. All the exciting things happen then...it figures." But another nuzzle to him. "Lateef can be laid back when he needs to be...you think he'll bring Arthur?"

"Undoubtably. He'll bring Arthur back, and the second he sets foot back on my soil, his a** is mine. I have no intention of letting him slack off."
keeping Piper near him, though making sure through bonds, though his wasn't near what his wife's was to thier son, that he was doing alright.
"I am more concerned however, for his wife. she might not handle it down here very well, so we'll need to be particularly careful. I'll need to have some more vials made as soon as possible to help them acclimate."
